Located in a discrete residential neighborhood, we came here for the lunch Menu del Dia.
It was something like 15 euros, and it was well worth it. The menu was only available in Spanish and Catalan, but the waiter was incredibly patient and helpful to assist us in figuring out what exactly we were ordering- not that it would have mattered. For an appetizer, I ordered pasta with an alfredo-like sauce. It tasted like home-made pasta, and it was a generous amount. For my entree, I got Catalan pork, which was perfectly seasoned and was by far the best pork I ate in Spain.
It was one of my more memorable dining experiences of the last year for me, and I would try to go back if I return to Barcelona. read more
