My first experience with Hungarian food was pretty great. The place felt comfortable and homely, and the waitress was super friendly and welcoming. I could tell that every dish was cooked with love.
I ordered the langos, which is this fried flatbread covered in gooey sour cream and cheese and the beef goulash, which is this beef stew accompanied with carrots and potatoes in a spicy paprika soup.
The langos complemented my beef goulash really well, and offset the paprika and spice perfectly. The creaminess cut through the spicy paprika stew, which was so fragrant and joyous. I could tell that the stew was slow cooked because the beef, carrots and potatoes just fell apart when I bit into them.
Overall, this place was a great find and is a great sit down restaurant. The ambiance is super charming and the food is homey and authentic. Definitely returning. read more
