We were welcomed by the barmaid in the front and promptly seated by the manager. The ambiance is calm, romantic, and cozy, and the menu intriguing. The ambience is warm, welcoming, and effortlessly charming--perfect for a relaxed yet memorable evening. The food was absolutely delicious and truly authentic Spanish cuisine. Standout dishes for us included the tomato tartar, scallops, seabass, steak, and every single dessert we tried was exceptional. The service deserves special recognition. Marsi took great care of us, and the entire team worked seamlessly together. Melody, Jackie, and Nancy were all incredibly kind, attentive, and efficient, making us feel genuinely welcomed. A special mention goes to Nadia, the dessert chef--her talent truly shines through in the beautifully crafted and unforgettable desserts. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and well-rounded dining experience. Excellent food, impeccable service, and a warm atmosphere--Cera 23 is a place we would happily return to and highly recommend.

In his namesake restaurant in Barcelona, he creates an authentic Catalonia-inspired menu using only certified local ingredients that are sustainable, organic, and ethically sourced wherever possible. Sergi de Meia's commitment to not only outstanding cuisine, but also to the environment and the community is impressive. A friend and I enjoyed an outstanding dinner at Sergi de Meia. The staff was wonderful, providing impeccable and attentive service that goes above and beyond the standard of hospitality. I thought the restaurant design was beautiful, and while the space is narrow and deep, the décor is light and contemporary, which makes for a great atmosphere. We share similar tastes, so my friend and I each ate the same dishes. We started with a taste of cauliflower cream, with pea shoots and crushed nuts. The cream was smooth and the nuts added a crunchy texture. The local asparagus with sheep's cheese cream and herbs was fresh and earthy, the vegetable tender and not tough, while the cream was salty and seasoned with the right mix of herbs. We also tried eggs and potato riojana style, and the flavors really gave a sense of the famous region of Spain. During the main course, we enjoyed fresh fish from the local market, with fresh green peas, chanterelle and saffron, which added a beautiful dose of color. We also loved the dish of local sheep, pumpkin, egg and cheese, as the texture provided an outstanding mouthfeel and is the epitome of local comfort food. For dessert, the server recommended the specialty chickpea fritters with cream, which use the traditional Catalonian chickpea flour. They were sweet and dense, a perfect way to end the delicious meal.

It was incredible to think that the Chef that arranged the menu, brought our food, gave us a bit of a story behind the dishes. All while looking over as the crowd steadily built through our dinner. It is such a rare dinning experience. We had a prefix menu with some options to select from. The timing was great, not fast giving you time to enjoy every bite. The food was hot which was important since it was such delicate dishes. So much flavor, we tried food outside our comfort zone and loved it. Chef Sergi really nails the pairings in food selection. I do not believe you can get a better meal than here in all of Barcelona. We only wish he had a restaurant in Los Angeles, California.

Even though it was almost their closing time, the servers did not rush us to order. I ordered the salmon carpaccio which came thinly sliced with a wasabi cream on top that has similar texture as ice cream. This was the most unique dish that I had. The bravas was average but the cod croquettes were bland.

We arrived in Barcelona late (on Sunday), and this place was recommended to us by our host. Being just down the street, we decided to check it out. We shared the ravioli, salmon carpaccio, bravas with spicy sauce and cod croquettes. My least favorite were the croquettes; while the exterior was crispy and nicely browned, the interior was mushy and lacked complex flavoring. Each croquette was 1.5 euros each and the size of a breakfast sausage link. The bravas sauce was delicious, we actually put that on the croquettes. The ravioli was decent. It had good flavor but the pasta was a little too al dente for me. The shining star was the carpaccio. It came out beautifully displayed in razor thin slices and topped with a slightly sweet wasabi cream served like an ice cream scoop in the middle that melted slowly while we enjoyed the dish. We also shared a nice bottle of red wine, the Lo Petito. It was an amazing 14 euros and tasted pretty good (disclaimer, I'm not a wine connoisseur). Not a bad way to start our trip.

Mirilla has a smaller list of tapas, but still plenty of options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. We split the patatas bravas, the cheese platter, and the timbal. The patatas bravas were made a little differently - more like potato wedges instead of cubes, but still really good and crispy. They offered a little less dipping sauce but still enough for the potatoes. The wedges were actually much easier to dip than the cubes. The cheese platter was also pretty solid, with a good mixture of creamy cheeses and sharp cheeses. The timbal was easily the best dish. We ordered it because of the pesto and goat cheese in it and although we didn't really taste any pesto, the goat cheese was incredible. Extremely rich and creamy and went great with the vegetables. Would definitely try to come here again, hopefully sober next time.

Our waitress was fun and helpful, and when we asked her opinion on items she made great suggestions. I was curious what to get for the last tapas order and she said she would have the chef surprise us, which did not disappoint. We had the goat cheese and tomato jam with toast, amazing! We also enjoyed the squid and veal meatballs with a lovingly crafted tomato sauce, king prawns with a pink sauce, and a lemon marinated salmon dish. All were great, and we enjoyed some delicious local wine and cocktails. We felt like we ended up friends with the chef and the whole staff by the time we were done and there was a great welcoming feeling surrounding the whole place, where you can tell everything from the food to the staff was filled with love and passion for what they were doing. Total five star place!

We started with three tapas: Pierogi Therapy (Pierogi ruskie) that were just a tad overcooked; Arenque del Báltico (Śledzik), a cold dish featuring many wonderful seafood flavors; and Say Cheese (Oscypek), lightly grilled goat cheese with red berry jam - kind of a dessert tapa, perfect before the main event. Deelish! Although there is a nice variety in their menu, the four of us selected the same two main courses: El Buen Rollo (Gołąbek), a large cabbage roll stuffed with nicely seasoned ground beef and rice, covered with a somewhat sweet tomato sauce. Each order came with two rolls. Each one was more than enough for one meal! Kopernik Was Right (Kiełbasa) was spicy and came in a bed of sauerkraut, on top of mashed potatoes. Pure comfort food! We finished off with a slab of their Polish-style cheesecake - and yes, one slab was enough for the four of us. Even the coffee was perfect! (You can always tell when a restaurant doesn't keep their coffee makers clean - this place clearly does.) Finally, a "chupito" of Polish vodka, nice and dry. I can't wait to go back again and try other items on their menu!

Be aware: Do NOT waste your money at this restaurant if you are Asians!!!…read more We dined at Disfrutar with high expectations given its 3 Michelin stars, but unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We were the second party to check in yesterday. However, when several hosts came out, they escorted multiple European groups who arrived after us into the restaurant first, while leaving our party waiting. As an Asian family visiting from the United States, this made us feel uncomfortable and raised concerns about whether we were being treated differently. The situation became even more concerning during the meal. My daughter was holding a glass of orange juice when the glass suddenly broke in her hand and cut her left thumb. A staff member came to clean the table and clearly saw her bleeding finger, yet there was no apology, no concern, and not even a simple "Are you okay?" This lack of basic care and empathy was shocking. At a Michelin 3-star level, service should be attentive, respectful, and consistent for every guest. Unfortunately, our experience made us feel overlooked and unwelcome. At this level, service is not optional--it is a fundamental part of the experience. Being made to feel overlooked and unwelcome, combined with the lack of care in a situation involving a child's injury, made this an experience we cannot recommend. To be fair, the cuisine itself was exceptional--creativity, presentation, wine quality, and overall execution were all at a very high level (close to 10/10). The taste was strong (around 8/10). However, the customer service was extremely poor (1/10), and unfortunately, that overshadowed the entire experience. We hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and reflects on how all guests are treated. There are many choices when it comes to fine dining, and service matters just as much as the food.
