There was a note inside the glass cupboard which read something like this "take any book you like, read it and return with a note included for the next reader." I was delighted! I felt like congratulating the owner for such a wonderful idea of sharing books. Growing up reading, books have been my closest companions since I could remember. This place would def be frequented by me. Equally charming were the many antique pieces set up ever so cutely in the shop with price tags (super affordable) on them! I found my new fave vintage shop! And if you love vintage/antique shops like I do, def check this gem of a place out!

The owner, Paul, was happy to delve into the history of whatever I asked about and is very knowledgeable on everything in his storefront. I've recommended the shop to a few of my friends and they loved it just as much as I did. Everything is priced fairly, and the price range is wide enough that you can find something you love with whatever budget you have. I also appreciated that the majority of the shop are originals and anything that is a reproduction are quality and labeled as such. After just one conversation, you can tell that Paul truly has a passion for what he does and selects each item with care. I think it's definitely worth a visit!!

Once the items were in his possession, he became vague and cagey about what items had actually sold. When pressed, he did state that some books had sold, but that he could not send a commission check immediately because he had bills to pay, despite agreeing that he owed us the funds. We finally received a small check, but never received any type of account detailing what was sold. After many months, we asked for a status update of the remaining items and all we received was a text message stating that they had been donated as they did not sell.
