The sign on the door said no credit or Debit cards I was ready to leave but decided to go to local bank to draw out cash it cost me 3 bucks just to walk into the front door of the restaurant in ATM fees.
Only three tables at dinner time? Seated ourselves Special Mexican night menu on the table waitress brought regular menus. The prices were very cheap too cheap, it should have been a warning as to the food quality. Most of the food choices on the menu reminded me of stuff old people would order, nothing to go home and tell friends about.
Each of us ordered the Mexican Nachos we were told they were good sized they came to the table and I knew then I would be getting something more to eat on the way home. I'm not a big guy so I don't need a lot to eat, if that says any thing ?
The place was very clean somewhat barren it had some Halloween decorations up, the customers were all old people didn't see any young people or kids except for maybe owners grand kid? Two of the people each ordered one 1.49 taco each at that rate the restaurant should make it's first million dollars say... in 5000 years? You do the math.
Ordered Hot Fudge Ice Cream Cake. Waitress brought out Dessert and without a spoon it took another 15 minutes to get her attention to get a spoon, finally had to shout across the restaurant to get her attention. After the eighth time shouting Hey Waitress we got her attention. The hot fudge was cheap and nasty and the ice cream looked like it came out of a cheap tub from the grocery store, the cake was a box mix I'm guessing.
Sad part of all of this the Owner and her Family were sitting only two tables away reading out loud the only yelp review ( bad) at the time, she was totally oblivious of what was going on around her or she didn't care.
Owner needs to raise her prices, take credit and debit cards. Charge more and up grade the food portions and selections. Specials shouldn't be about low price, they should be something different than everyday menu items. Low prices tell me that the owner is not confident of her food quality and service.
I believe most people will pay more if they are getting their money's worth. Yes the cheap people will complain but then I'm guessing they do anyways. No money lost on them.
Bottom line the food was ok, just cheesy portioning, and low quality products. The service was not terrible but with only three tables it should have been on point at all times. read more
