I am really glad I stopped and ate. Food was very good, large portions. And great prices.

If America had more places like the Four Seasons, we'd be in a better place. Less than 30 seconds off of the turnpike. Clean restaurant, local folks and good homestyle food. Service is quick and informative. Breakfast was amazing... I inhaled a huge Meat Lovers Omelette before I even thought about taking a photo; hot coffee was on point. Great family diner - skip the chain restaurant, get off the highway and check it out.

Wow other reviewers were right! It doesn't look like much outside but inside very clean and delicious food!! We got seated and I did have to move cause it was drafty in the corner but that's ok. It was 4:15-4:30 and not busy on a thurs. Saw that had Wed and Fri fish fry all u can eat... bummer. Oh well lots of Greek items to choose from. Bf got pork chops with Greek potatoes and Greek salad. Wow it was super good !! Everything!! I had tastes. They I opted for the Greek meat plate. It had so much gyro meat I had to eat it with fork n knife!! Wayyyyyy to fat to fold!! The lemon rice soup was ok. I've had better but it was tasty. The Greek side salads that come with your meal choice... wow raspberry vinegrette with lots of minced onions in it???!!! I had to take most of mine with. Food came out fast!! Service is spot on and attentive. She came around with the bill and asked for anything else ? I said maybe desert. She told us we had Baklava that came with our dinner!! Wha????? Kewl!!!!! It was huge too and super good. What a nice finish. Restaurant off of I80 easy truck parking too!

pulled in looking for a little something to eat and got just that. absolutely certain that I have been here before but I can't say when other than probably breakfast in the early 90's and it may have been a different place then and way divey too... today, not so much :-) aside from the plague stuff dinner was pretty uneventful. walked in all masked up and asked for a table for one, a menu, and a glass of iced water; got sat in a corner with a nice view of my appropriately distanced fellow diners. one look at the menu and I knew there had to be a Monte Cristo hidden in it somewhere, there's something just right about ham and swiss on frenched toasts plus seasonal fries with a bit of warm syrup alongside -- would have been aces with a couple thin slices of tomato! pity (or fortunate?) that an apricot stone sour couldn't be had with it. finished with a walk over to the desert case to have a look at pre-fabbed cakes and pies: the carrot cake wasn't quite as carotty as I hoped but it was moist and firm with poofs of whipped siding and the icing was soft and creamy. you could play pinball all night with the change back from a jackson except there isn't any pinball... so be generous instead.

Swipe left to scroll through the pages. Touch an item for a description and wine pairing suggestions. Fancy. She told us what the lunch specials were and took a drink order. They offer Pepsi products. My SO went with an all-you-can-eat soup & salad bar. Soups on this day are cowboy bean and loaded potato. Lettuce is an iceberg mix with red cabbage and carrots. A variety of veg,, mayonnaise based salads, toppings like croutons and seeds and a variety of dressings were available. I opted for a steak salad. I was 'hangry' and did not take a photo. The salad was large. Same lettuce mix of iceberg with red cabbage and carrot. Half a dozen grape tomatoes, chopped hard boiled egg, a load of shredded cheese and three 'broasted' potato wedges. This is topped with sliced steak, cooked to your preference with a side of salad dressing. Very filling. We paid by scanning a QR code on our reciept, but the waitress can also cash you out if you prefer. She was very bubbly and kept an eye on us checking in a couple of times The restaurant is clean. Decor 'Americana' with heavy wood tables and metal chairs. Restrooms are off the hotel lobby down another corridore. For the price to portion size, friendly staff and menu options, this is a good stop

I hadn't realized before that there is a large room to the right of the bar area. We were there for a somewhat early dinner at 6pm on a Saturday and the place was bustling! Definitely make a reservation. (I used Open Table online two or three weeks in advance and it was very easy.) We were greeted shortly after being seated and our server advised us of the special entrees after taking our drink orders. We decided to split the roasted beet salad which also came with herbed goat cheese. Our server brought the salad on two plates- already divided. The salad was absolutely amazing!! I am seriously still craving it and the portion was so large that I couldn't even finish my half. Our server promptly boxed it up before our entrees were served. For the main course, I ordered one of the specials- scallops with rice sauteed with spinach. My friend had pork roast with carrots, which was a large portion - no complaints and she took home leftovers for another meal. I'll speak to my scallops... They were perfectly prepared, but there were only three scallops and a plentiful serving of rice and spinach. I love spinach and this side was very well seasoned. It didn't take long to eat the three scallops and the spinach pieces in the rice. I definitely enjoyed my meal, but wished for even one more scallop. Since my entree was a special that was verbally announced, I didn't know the price until I saw the bill. While it was delicious, I found the $41 charge a bit steep. The Standard is exceptional in almost every way- service was impeccable, amazing food, lovely ambiance- but be prepared for a pricey evening. My friend and I had a very enjoyable time and I definitely recommend this restaurant. I will say, however, that it can be difficult to talk because it is so busy. That said, it's popular for a reason! Check out the photos below for a virtual experience.

I personally like to see it on paper so I can view ingredients but Im going with the flow. The service is a stand out here. Started with garlic bread bites. Server indicated there is a light blue cheese drizzle that they actually drizzle at the table. Neither of us are big fans of blue cheese and made sure to tell her when she started. She said its very mild n not overpowering. It was not mild n it was overpowering. I love love bread n I only ate one square. French onion soup was good per the man. I wanted the chicken special but when I said Ididn't care for peppers the server said she didn't recommend it then. Not sure why peppers couldn't be removed? but I took her advice and chose shrimp instead. Shrimp n mashed potatoes for me. Lamb chops n some type of potatoes for him. It was fine. At the price point($200 for 2) I was expecting more than fine. They did bring him a bday dessert but as she stated they don't sing happy birthday. Ok then. Stashed the leftovers in the car and went next door for beers n bday shots. More my speed. I would come back if its someone else's choice

Laker's Landing was formerly Laker's Food & Spirits. I no reference to the former owners…read more Laker's is a moderately small restaurant tucked behind several buildings on the Main Street. I didn't see any signage on the main road or on the street where you turn. There isn't any good signage that helps you definitely know that you have arrived at Laker's. Once you get there you will scramble to find a parking spot on a busy night. Again the signage for where it is okay to park is not good as well. Laker's is set right on the lake. The deck only sets three tables. The view is great. However you better make a reservation if you want to secure an outdoor seat. Once inside....the view of the lake isn't bad. There are lots of windows to share the view with those outside. The interior of the restaurant is broken up into three areas - east & west dinning and a bar. All areas have an attractive multi-colored wood walls. This is complimented by the wood floors and dark furniture. The interior is welcoming and comfortable. The bar is very attractive. The east dinning room is VERY LOUD for some reason. The west side was much quieter. The staff we encountered were very friendly. The hostess doubles as a bus person so we had to wait to find out what happens after you arrive - again "hostess will seat up" sign. I was surprised that half of the staff didn't wear shirts with the Laker's logo. Our waitress Katie was excellent. She knew her menu well and had several spot on recommendations. She was concerned about our dinning experience and advised us that a large party was coming so she wanted to make sure we got our orders in ahead of them. Katie was right on top of the refills as well. We ordered the jalapeño crab filled wontons to start. The jalapeño wonton was not hot or over spicy. The filling was creamery with a slight crab taste. The wontons were a bit crispy. Overall a nice appetizer but no rememberable flavors here. My side salad was very good. The salad was a nice size presented in a fashionable bowl. The Ingredients were very fresh. The right amount cheese mixed well with the homemade honey mustard dressing. The dressing had a slightly sweet flavor with a creamy smooth consistency. The taste mirrored a high quality store bought dressing. My wife had the Cobb salad. Again the salad was a nice size with plenty of fresh veggies and lettuce. The homemade raspberry vinaigrette dressing was outstanding. The dressing was slightly sweet with small pieces of raspberries in the sauce. Overall the salad was very good. For dinner I ordered the breasted chicken and Mac & Cheese. The Mac & cheese was a bit dry. You kind of expect a creamy oozing sauce on elbow noodles. The noodles were perfectly cooked. The cheese was thin and stuck to the noodle with a darker color (looked like well baked on but not overly baked). The chicken was outstanding. The breading was thin and slightly crispy. It did hold a bit more grease flavor than you might like. However the breading was simply delicious! The chicken was extraordinarily moist. It could be easily cut with a fork. Overall Laker's Landing does a pretty good job with dinner. The cocktails, which we didn't have, looked very attractive and tempting. You will find the prices to be very fair and a moderately sized menu. Give them a try!
