Would not recommend going when they're busy. 30 minutes after ordering to get breakfast for two adults and one child. Two tables who arrived after we ordered, received their food before we did. Fried mush was hot, oatmeal was hot. Chocolate chip, pancake, breakfast sandwich, bacon and toast were barely warm. Was not asked how our food was, no acknowledgment of wait time for food. It was just what we wanted! An unassuming place and a great price performer. Very comfortable, waitress friendly and prompt. Get there early, they close at 7 and watching the specials board was like being at the airport and seeing flights depart - one by one, they ran out of featured items and we watched as they were erased! I stopped in here for breakfast while on a road trip. Well, not so much a road trip, more an escape in the middle of Winter. I had just come home to find my house broken into. I had enough of my city for the time being and my fiancée and I just drove off. Originally we were going to go to Toronto, but we had temp plates on our new car so we didn't know if we would be allowed into Canada. We considered Vermont, but decided against driving *all* the way across the country and into a blizzard. A night of driving got us roughly to this small town in Western Ohio where we decided to bed down in a truck stop for a couple of cold hours. In the morning we looked up nearby restaurants for breakfast. It looked like it was Micky-Ds or a couple of places in Archbold. We settled on this place. It's a pretty standard small town diner. A lot of the locals seemed to stare at us while we ate our meal. The server was pretty terse, but began to warm up near the end of our meal. The food was so-so. It was honestly pretty forgettable. I had a farmer's omelette (or a country omelette, or whatever it was called---egg with cheese, ham, and hashbrowns in it). It tasted fine, but not remarkable. Nice variety of breakfast items that are all very good. I can recommend this place with no reservations for breakfast. I have not had any other meal there.
