I've ordered delivery multiple times but today was my first time dining at the restaurant. It's quaint and clean inside. No alcoholic beverages but really affordable lunch specials. Rainbow roll was the best thing we tried and the spicy crunchy tuna was also pretty good. Didn't care for the spider roll.

Me and my homie hit up MoMo Sushi, they don't miss. The Blind Spot Roll was fresh fish stacked like a masterpiece with a little kick that had us nodding in approval after every bite. The Spicy Tuna Roll? Classic heat, smooth texture, and that "damn, this is good" energy we were looking for. We wrapped it up with the Oreo and ice cream for dessert; simple but undefeated. Crunchy Oreos, creamy ice cream, and just the right amount of sweet to end the night. The spot's vibe is chill, the service stays on point, and the food? Straight fire. MoMo Sushi is lit; don't sleep. Live, love and laugh. - Sha

Stopped here for a quick snack with a friend, not bad, quiet atmosphere, very secluded and homely.

Good and reliable. They have a great selection of sushi and have some rolls that you don't usually find in other restaurants. For example, the mango roll or the honey peanut avocado roll. The sushi doesn't have too much rice which I like. I got two shrimp avocado rolls and a honey peanut avocado roll. Very good. I also got miso soup and thought it was amazing as well. They have a special of three rolls for $22 which is actually really good for the city. The catch is you have to order all three rolls at the same time. I ordered two rolls initially and then added a third -- the waitress was nice and gave me the price for the special in the end but warned me that's not how it works. Overall, I would say a lot of people seem to be doing takeout from this place, so it was really easy to get a table even on a Friday night without a reservation. Great reliable neighborhood spot.

I've been eating here for years and it's consistently been a reliable, fresh neighborhood BYOB sushi place (bottle opening fee applies)! Let's dive in with an update: Miso Soup (4/5): Nothing crazy about this. Just your average run-of-the-mill miso soup. Was nice on a cold night. Came out quickly too. Pork Gyoza (4/5): The filling was flavorful and the sauce truly sweet which is the perfect combination. I would have loved for them to pan fry the dumplings for another minute as the crispiness was a bit light for a fried dumpling order. Flatiron (Tuna Sandwich) Special Sushi Roll (3/5): I very much appreciate the ingenuity of this special but I find the lack of seaweed a bit odd. It really is a bunch of triangle shaped sushi sandwiches. Nothing else is inherently wrong with this. Just found that texture missing and didn't feel like a sushi roll. It falls apart a bit while eating. Dragon Special Sushi Roll (5/5): I ordered the Dragon Ball off the apps menu but they gave me this instead by mistake. It was super flavorful with the eel, fresh avocado, and savory dark eel sauce drizzled on this beautiful masterpiece! Spicy Scallop Roll (5/5): This, and all their spicy rolls have a delicious spicy mayo blend with the fish, combined with some tobiko making for a perfect bite of spicy, crunch, and fish. Service (5/5): The waiter was relatively easy to flag down even with a few large groups they were tending to. I ordered the Dragon Ball sushi app and instead got the Dragon Roll. It only hit me about two pieces into the roll and after telling the waiter he offered to swap it for the item I originally ordered. I was loving the roll so much that I told him not to worry about it. Without asking him to do so, he kindly only charged me for the Dragon Ball (about half the price of the Dragon Roll). I very much appreciate this level of customer service! Note on BYOB: I was here a few weeks ago (not written about here) and they have a bottle opening fee. I believe it was $10 for the first and $5 for subsequent bottles. I didn't drink in this most recent visit but thought it was worth mentioning for those interested. TL;DR: Great fresh fish and tasty apps, excellent service, will 100% continue to come back here.

Great sushi place by union square. Lunch special menu is reasonable. I like their shrimp tempura roll. Quick service. Friendly staff. Inside is nice and clean.

Hands down my favorite sushi place in the city. Great vibes, amazing sushi, and super friendly service.

From left to right: Bermuda, Dynamite, and Blind Spot. This picture hardly does justice to how incredible these rolls tasted--each one was packed with flavor and beautifully crafted. The crispy rice and crispy eggplant rolls deserve a special mention as well; they were absolutely out of this world. Highly recommend trying them all!

Overall great place to grab some sushi but def some things to point out! -Its not as cheap as people make it seem in reviews. Id argue its a couple dollars less (marginally) than other places- but you're also getting served a smaller portion. -They don't serve alcohol? Was surprised by that one. We ordered miso soup, chicken teriyaki, sexy scallop roll and yellowtail scallion. The taste of the food was good. Chicken teriyaki had nice flavor, was tender and the rolls were fresh. As pictured the quantity/size is fairly standard. Ambience is very chill. Good for a low-key night.

We just missed the lunch specials upon arriving, but the sushi was still fantastic! No wait, nice tables, clean, nice music for ambiance. The service was kind and quick, and the sushi is amazing for an amazing price. Will definitely be coming back on my next visit.

We went to MoMo for an early dinner. We were in the area and read good reviews. For starters we had the age tofu, lightly fried very good taste. The shrimp shumai was not my favorite, it was cold and seemed to be over steamed making it too soft . The miso soup was excellent, very flavorful. We had the 16 pc deluxe sashimi, nice fish selection by the chef. We were able to exclude the fish we didn't want. The seared scallop roll was amazing, nice flavors. The salmon with jalapeño roll was alright. The jalapeño didn't have a kick to it, it taste more like a green pepper. The seaweed salad was too cold in temperature. I rather have it room temperature. MoMo is a BYO, they don't serve alcohol. The place is small, nicely decorated and clean. The service was quick and our waiter was attentive. If I'm in the area I would stop by again- next time with a bottle of sake.

I've been to the Ichiran in East Williamsburg but found this location to be more hectic and touristy, naturally. You order on a tablet, pay (no tip), and then are directed to a seat by a welcoming host. Poor guy must have to repeat the same spiel a billion times a day. I just defaulted to Ichiran's suggested levels for everything which made it fast and easy. Once you're at your assigned cubbyhole, you can hang your coat up on the wall behind you and fill up your water cup at the machine also behind you. You don't even see the face of the person who brings out the ramen which gives the whole process a mysterious bank teller vibe. With all this, the classic tonkotsu ramen ($23) with slender noodles nearly gets overshadowed, but don't fret since it's fantastic. I believe when you're done, you just get up and leave. Surprisingly, one of the instructional posters does not go into this.

When you walk into the restaurant, you pre-order at the touchscreen to the right of the entrance and later when you're seated you give the order receipts to the server at your window. The food at this location is obviously going to be pricier than it is in Japan (came out to around $60 for 2 people), but it is SO worth it as you can't get Ichiran anywhere else besides in Japan.

The gyoza was cooked very nicely, came sizzling and the bun with meat was a little ugly, it looked boiled and unappetizing. The taste was just okay. The topping on it was notable. The waitress didn't help us at all when ordering. We weren't bowled over with the food, although it was noted the meat in the ramen was high level. For a restaurant, especially one serving customizable ramen dishes, with a allergy list post on the wall by the counter where I sat at B1, a little flexibility or empathy toward food allergies would go a long way. The interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming, which made the overall dining experience uncomfortable. Customer service matters just as much as the food, and sadly this visit fell short. The smashed cucumber was good. Spicy dumpling was good. Ramen broth was light, not as rich or flavorful as others.
