Lu's has another location located in Northeast, however, you will never see me at any restaurant located in NE. I've been to a few restaurants in that area and nobody in those restaurants and I've have been served really old tasting food, especially at the Thai restaurants in NE. This location in NE is not as fresh as the Nicollet Avenue location. I've been to that place twice there and it's always something's been off about the taste there. Can't really put my finger on it but the only thing that comes to mind is I feel like there's not enough people that come through those doors over there. So I only go to this location off Nicollet and have avoided everything & all places in Northeast like the plague. I feel like that side of town is cursed or something. It looks like they've expanded their menu since I was there. But the fried rice and bao are just my go to order. I've only had pickup and I've never had to wait more than a couple minutes and the employees are kind. Food is hot and travels well. The only downside is it's a bit expensive, but it's worth it. FYI they don't advertise them but they do sell gift cards, I got one for the whole family last Christmas. It was definitely a favorite gift.
