I asked our server about their cross-contamination protocols for the pizza, and she was super reassuring: they use a fresh pan and change their gloves, even though it goes into the same oven. I built my own pie with red sauce, cheese, and hot honey, and it was absolutely fantastic. My husband ordered a regular Detroit-style pizza and said it was delicious. They even have a few GF dessert options on the menu, but we were way too full to try them this time. We will definitely be back!

Servings were huge, the only positive thing I could say about the meal. Alfredo sauce on the pasta was totally tasteless, like wallpaper paste. Stromboli shell was not crispy, as it should be, and there was no sauce inside (not unusual), but there was excessive moisture from the vegetable filling, which made the crust soggy. Other than the staff, there was nothing appealing or memorable about this restaurant, and based upon my extensive experience and knowledge of Italian cuisine, there is little authentic about it.

The tables don't have a smooth surface and crumb debris gets caught. This is the only authentic, quality Italian place in town so I hope it sticks around for a long time! With her decreasing the hours from what she had before, I worry she'll eventually close. It would be a huge loss to the community if it did.
