The Butter Chicken and Paneer Tikka Masala were really good, both were rich and creamy and hit the spot (although the chicken was a *little* tough). The portion sizes were generous. Their naan is a real standout, it comes out crispy and light instead of floppy like a lot of other places. read more

I have been dining at Indian restaurants - in and around the Seattle area - for thirty years or so, and have always been a big fan of the cuisine. So it was with great glee that I discovered this new Indian restaurant in my neighborhood today - just having opened in late November. My 22 year old son is home from college for Christmas break, and it took no coaxing for me to convince him to tag along with me to Momi to check out their lunch menu. Like me, he has a fond appreiation for Indian food, and both of us certainly know "good" Indian food when we see it. I'm happy to report that every item we ordered today was exceptional - perfectly seasoned with a balance of spices that was "just right" to my palette. Our lunch included generous portions of Gobi Manchurian, which was as good as any we've had, as well as Palak Paneer (always one of my favorites, and this one did not disappoint) and a rich and creamy Korma Chicken. All were delivered to us with a warm smile by a lady who I assume is the proprietor. Oh, and I should mention that she actually provided us a complementarty serving of "double ka meetha" as we were finishing our meal. What a nice touch! If you live in the south Everett or Mill Creek area and enjoy Indian cuisine with friendly service, I would highly recommend that you give this new restaurant a try! read more

Really like their ulvacharu paneer biryani. I catered for a group of 15 people recently and the biryani was liked by everyone. The restaurant is mid-sized, mid-tiered casual eating. They have a lot of varieties in their menu. Looking forward to trying more. I have never dined in, only ordered out and catering. The service for that was good. read more

I was visiting the nearby Mill Creek Town Festival yesterday, July 13th, saw their booth, and decided to give them a try. Ordered 2 regular Samosas and they were absolutely fantastic. When I came back to the nearby grocery store to pick up some basics today, the 14th, I decided to get two more Samosas to go. The best allergen, friendly restaurant 10/10 I'm coming back again. I brought my friend that doesn't like Indian food she tried these dishes and didn't believe me that they were vegan because they tasted like meat she said it melted in her mouth it was so flavourful we kept coming back. Love, love, love! We picked up our first takeout order from Momi this evening, and were quite impressed. We've been missing some of the amazing local Indian restaurants that have closed in recent years, and trying places new to us to find our next favorite food haunt -- I think Momi is that place. The food was fresh, spicy, complex in flavor and overall delicious! The takeout service was pretty quick, even though we placed a fairly large order, and everything was hot and delightful when we got it home. I can't comment on the ambiance, as we didn't eat at the restaurant, but it looked comfortable and accommodating. We're looking forward to giving the dine-in experience a test-drive soon! We have eaten at the Momi Kitchen 3 times within the past 6 months, would have eaten there more often except we were back in Singapore for 4 of those months. Their Biryani dishes are very tasty, we've had 3 different ones and enjoyed them all, as well as their Gobi and Paneer dishes. I am an American who has lived and worked in Singapore and other parts of Asia for the past 50 years and my wife is Singaporean so we do know the difference between good or not so good Indian, Thai, Malaysian and Chinese foods and would recommend anyone to eat at Momis' Indian Kitchen restaurant anytime your wanting good authentic Indian food. This was my second visit and I came on a Friday evening with family. We had a great experience. We ordered the baby corn 555, ulavacharu Biryani, avakai chicken curry, and bhindi masala curry with plain naan and tandoori rotis. Everything we ordered was medium spiced. We also got a honeydew melon lychee boba drink. The baby corn was crunchy and served hot. The chicken curry was very flavorful, sour and spicy. The biryani was tasty with crunchy vegetables on top. The bhindi masala was creamy and tangy. The boba was sweet and refreshing. Service was thoughtful even though it was a busy Friday. I wanted to change an order after it was placed and the waitress was kind enough to make the change. The restaurant has simple and elegant setting and comfortable booths. We went here for the 1st time since it changed to the Indian restaurant from the burger shop. It was great, just good fresh, made from scratch Indian dishes. It was on par with our other favorite Indian restaurants but now close to home. The owners were both working the restaurant and made us feel like we were at their home. We will definitely be back. Plus they have shaved ice, Oreo milk shakes, beer, and many yummy looking deserts, ECT. They are working so hard to make delicious food for everyone to enjoy. read more

MOMI is our absolute favorite Indian restaurant in the Seattle/Eastside area and we've tried a lot. Anytime my partner looks at me and starts to say "I'm craving..." I already know he's going to say MOMI. Since we discovered MOMI we can't help but go every couple of weeks. We've been blown away by the rich and varied flavors across a wide range of dishes from the shahi paneer, to the ulavacharu goat, to the spinach chicken, to the gongura chicken biryani, and more. The paneer they use has amazing texture. I studied abroad in Bangalore and MOMI's dishes always transport me back. I cannot recommend the food highly enough. read more

Food and take out service was great! I ordered samosas, garlic naan, and chicken tikka masala. The green sauce for the samosas was a little spicy and was a nice surprise. I could tell the garlic on the naan was fresh and not the cheap jar stuff. The tikka masala was delicious! The portion was bigger than I've had at other places (more chicken) and I've never had it with veggie chunks in the sauce but it was soooo good. I also appreciated that they can modify heat/spice level. Everything was packaged well and service was great. 10/10 would recommend! read more

The food is mids. Not much flavor. Biryani can be better. I can make better Indian food at home. Also a bit pricey.

If you want to barf and have diarrhea then I suggest you eat here . Butter paneer masala was horrible the naan was dry AF . Not sure if the tikka chicken was really chicken ... such a shame !!! read more

This newer South Indian version of Momi is a labor of love for sure and you can tell from the moment you walk in. The new owners have given the restaurant total makeover, transforming it into a much prettier, more sit-down friendly place. The food is FANTASTIC. I had the lamb ulvacharu and my spouse had the classic chicken tikka. Both were so flavorful and balanced. We had the samosa and garlic naan as well. The samosa was my husband's favorite part. We stopped in while passing through town from out of state. Another review said it was the best Indian food they'd ever had, and we agree. The samosa dough was so flaky, fluffy, pocketed, flexible garlic naan with great flavor. Medium level spicy was perfect- gobi Manchurian and chicken korma were absolutely perfect. Tired of Fusion India and Ruchi, there is new restaurant MOMI..Indian food. Very quick service, good food. We loved Gongura chicken and butter naan which is thin crust and soft and fresh. We were craving cheesesteak and used to come to this place often when it was a cheesesteak restaurant because it was so good. When we pulled up, we were surprised to find out it's now an Indian restaurant. We went in anyways because we just had to check it out. I'm very glad we did. The restaurant doesn't look like much, it never has and that's more than fine by me. I've often found the "hole in the wall" places have the best food and this place is no exception. I ordered the goat vindaloo (spicy) and my son ordered the chicken korma (mild) and the cheese naan. My husband wasn't hungry so he just had the garlic naan. The food was fragrant and flavorful. For me, the spice was just right. Just enough to make my nose run a little bit but not sacrificing any of the flavor. My son is very sensitive to spice so the mild was just a little too much for him but even so, he couldn't stop eating it. As for the garlic naan. Warning: They DO NOT mess around with the garlic. You and see, smell and taste that they use freshly chopped garlic. So if you order this and are on a date with someone, you will want to share so you don't offend your date with garlic breath. :) The cheese naan was a perfect compliment to give our palate a break from the garlic. We were glad we ordered it. The prices are very reasonable for all the food they give you and the staff there are very friendly and take good care of you. We left knowing that we found our new favorite Indian restaurant! :) read more

We stopped by this place today on our way back home from Seattle premium outlet mall. Food quality is really good, not too spicy and feels like homemade food. We loved paneer kathi roll, it is two big wraps so good quantity. Our kids (3 and 6 year old) ate poori aloo, both ate really well. Poori wasn't too oily. Poori size is big too hence it makes a good fulfilling meal. Tea is good too! Overall, nice ambience for sit down meal too and very nice staff. read more
