Very surprised not to find this place not reviewed yet. Less than 10 minute walk from the Waldorf Astoria. The locals seem to love the place and the owner, who speaks English, and was very friendly. I arrived at 11:00 am, they were already open, but the place was empty. It's small, but has 5 stools and narrow bar to eat at. As I sat and ate my Arancini' and slice of mushroom, sausage, and cheese "pizza", the place was very busy with people getting slices to take away. The prices are good and the quality fantastic.
They had a case full of maybe 20 pizza varieties - nice thin breast crust with toppings on top. I opted for more of a sandwich style pizza with the toppings stuffed between 2 thinner crusts. Everything was just delicious, so much so, I got a mortadella, potatoe, and cheese slice to take back to the hotel for later! read more
