His lack of knowledge caused me to loose a lot of money, a lot of time and in the end my hvac has exactly the same issues it had before I called Carlos. STAY AWAY! If you want details let me give you some: Carlos said he believed freon would solve my weak HVAC system. According to him adding a 1 to 3 pounds of freon should solve it, and it would cost between $100-$300. When he was finished, according to him, he added 7 pounds(!!) and it would cost me $650 (!!!) with a nice discount he was giving me (what?). I pushed back but he wouldn't leave unless I agreed to it. I gave him a check for the $650 and at least thought my issues were solved. One month later I noticed that the HVAC was taking too long to start and that the compressor wasn't able to kick in. I wrote to Carlos who came by and said THERE WAS TOO MUCH Freon in my HVAC (!)... He than released freon in the air while using a broken equipment. I asked him not to take out more than needed given I paid so much for it. The next day I noticed the Hvac was kicking in a little quicker but the compressor was still trying 10-20 times to kick in before it did. I was afraid it could damage my hvac and wrote to him. He became non responsive, when he spoke with me on the phone he was upset saying I wasn't letting him work when I asked him not to release more freon than needed(?). He started to schedule visits and not show up on the agreed time, or call me 2 minutes before he was at my door at a completely different time from the agreed. It took 20 days for him to show up again (this is the peak of the summer) and he released most of the freon in my hvac's system... result? it doesn't cool down anymore. I kept being very polite and friendly throughout the entire process, trusting his skills and that in the end it would be solved. During his last visit I noticed the tubes outside weren't cooling as much but he said that was typical of my HVAC brand and that it doesn't require too much freon... he didn't seem to think that when he charged me $650 in freon. He said it would work well although the tubes didn't cool down a lot... it doesn't cool down anymore. I'm sure there is an amount of freon where the air conditioner can work without stopping the compressor and still cool down the apartment. It's an absurd the kind of excuses he gave me. In summary. My air conditioning works poorly (as it did before I called Carlos). I spent $650, spent my summer sweating and spend a few afternoons running home to wait for a service provider who didn't show up. Of course I wrote to him saying the above and he never replied, so be careful and stay way! His lack of knowledge (or fairness) will cause you a lot of trouble.

With all 4, we explained other problems we'd been experiencing with temp differentials in the house and crazy high winter bills. Most of them were only interested in replacing the units and didn't try to help with anything else. Jorge took the time to really understand our system, troubleshoot the problems, and explain things in a way that made sense to a non-expert. The installation was very high quality, communication throughout was excellent, and they were able to do it within just a couple business days. On top of all that, their price was lower than all 3 other companies. I highly recommend Levanair and would go to them in a heartbeat for any other HVAC issues.

Jorge and his team are extraordinary; they did a great job replacing my AC unit and water heater. Having to replace both at the same time is no fun, but Jorge did whatever he could to make it a good experience for me. He addressed every question and issue promptly and thoroughly. I was very happy with the pricing, and appreciated that Jorge suggested I get other estimates before I committed. During these COVID times, I also appreciate greatly that they wore masks when they needed to talk to me, and they of course had shoe coverings when needing to come into the house. I could go on and on, but will end by saying that I am not easily impressed, and I highly recommend this company!

I sent a request to many hvac companies here, several replied. I went with A&S due to the reasonable cost and that they were able to come out within 2 days. Eury really put the work in to figure out what was wrong, and that's why I'm giving this review. He probably spent an hour diagnosing the problem, which is a good use of the $79 fee. Turns out it was indeed pepcos thermostat that was malfunctioning and not my furnace. Because i was impressed with his service, I bought a new thermostat and installation on site from Eury. I simply don't trust Pepco to take responsibility for their own product and get out here to fix it, so I paid the $250 charge to A&S to actually fix my problem.

This business left us out in the cold. The tech, David, that came out was great - he was willing…read moreto discuss the issue with our boiler on a level i could understand. We had a 10 year parts warranty, so expected to pay only labor, which Anthony & Son confirmed multiple times. We received an invoice by email on a Saturday for $1,000 - with no line item for what was parts or labor. The price seemed high for just the labor that David didn't expect to take long, and when we asked why the price was so high, Anthony and Son reduced the price but again merely sent an email without explanation, provided no line item and refused to look up the part to tell me the MSRP. When I called the person person manning the phones claimed they sent an invoice on Friday (they never did) and implied I should have signed immediately for them to order the part, and nothing could be done until Monday After further inquiries, (each time I had to call - there was never any follow up), the owner, Rafael, finally called me back on Monday, the day they were supposed to make the repairs, and after 3 days without heat. Rafael insisted I was lying about the timing of the invoice, and defended his assistant, who blamed the whole ordeal on me over the weekend. Rafael told me he was the owner of the business and didn't have to deal with people asking questions about the actual costs of parts versus labor. He then claimed a senior tech would have to come out to confirm the issue was actually the problem, and we'd have to wait even longer for our boiler to be repaired. At no point over the weekend was I told the initial diagnosis may be incorrect. I questioned why Anthony and Son kept shifting costs and steps to repair the issue, and Rafael then refused to come out to fix our boiler at all until I apologized for questioning his lack of transparency in pricing He cursed at me, calling me a "pain in the ass" and further insulted me, before hanging up the phone. It seems Anthony and Son ropes you in to a job, then banks on you paying them whatever they want just to get your heat working again, knowing you won't want to spend more time and money hiring another business to come out for a diagnostic and repair.

He says he can do other things such as line a chimney or replace a hot water heater...he has no clue how to do either of those. He Gerry rigs it and makes you think he's done it correctly. I scheduled an annual service with Greenfox. They came out on 5/6/2026 and performed the service…read morefor what I believe was $99. They said everything was good to go - no issues. Two weeks later, on 5/18, the air conditioning stopped working. They market themselves as 24-hour, so I called 5 times that evening. They have a system for screening their calls. I communicated several times that this was an urgent concern, as I have 5 pets who would be intolerant of the 100-degree heat forecast for the following day. Even after dark, my house was 85 degrees. After those calls, I received no calls back. The next morning, on 5/19, I scheduled a morning appointment with Greenfox and then chatted with them via their chat system. The person on the chat assured me that this was a concern. They reported that they marked my appointment as urgent and would register a complaint with the company on my behalf. They assured me that the tech would leave and arrive at my house by 8am. 8am came and went with no call or contact from Greenfox. I logged on to the chat again and spoke with another agent and recounted everything that had happened previously. They said they could do nothing but make appointments on the chat. I said that I did that morning and was told the appointment would be around 8. They said I would have to call the office. I told them that I already had 5 times, and I received no return call. The chat said there was nothing they could do. I then spent time I could have been working calling other companies to try to get service, as the house was getting close to 80 degrees at 9:30 AM. A tech from Greenfox eventually arrived at around 11:15. The company never called me back at all; they didn't let me know he was coming. I received an automated text that the tech was coming 15 minutes after he arrived. He found the issue, which should have been discovered two weeks earlier at the servicing appointment. The tech then left, saying, "I'll send you the invoice." No discussion. The tech then charged us $245 for a problem that should have been caught during the initial service we already paid for. Getting an annual service from this company is useless. It appears they didn't thoroughly review for potential issues, which has left my AC not working on the hottest days of the year so far. There was no consideration on the second bill for the poor work of the technician who came out to service. They don't answer phone calls. They don't call anyone back. They don't let you know a tech is coming. Their chat responses are, at minimum, disingenuous and, at worst, outright lies. And then they still charge you double, even though it was their error. There are far better and more reliable companies in the area, with whom I will be contracting going forward.
