I spoke with Mike at Air Repair, and he came over (on time) a couple of days later. He saw that my house was relatively new, and asked me when it was built (Dec 2019 - 4 years ago). He took a look at the ducts in the furnace room and said that cleaning the ducts would not help as they are already clean. He recommended changing the air filter a bit more frequently and said that the dust was probably normal. Next, I asked him to look at our dryer vent/tube. He said he would need to come back for that, and he did - on time. Wow! He quickly and efficiently cleared out the dryer tube, vent, and dryer filter. He showed me before and after pictures. He also advised me on how to clean the dryer more efficiently with a long bristle brush and flat vacuum hose nozzle. Very friendly, polite, on-time, and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, my experience over the past year caused me to lose confidence in the company. My scheduled maintenance appointment was missed during the confirmed service window, and I had to call to find out what happened. On another occasion, a plumbing appointment was rescheduled after it had already been confirmed, creating unnecessary inconvenience. During a later service visit, I received repair and maintenance recommendations that seemed far higher than what I ultimately found elsewhere. While everyone should get multiple estimates, the differences were significant enough that I decided to seek other opinions. The most disappointing part was the customer service. I completed a satisfaction survey, emailed management twice, and was promised follow-up calls that never came. As a long-time customer, I expected someone to take ownership of my concerns. That never happened. The technicians I interacted with were professional and courteous, so this review is not about them. It's about the company's lack of responsiveness when a long-term customer raised legitimate concerns. After 15 years, I canceled my maintenance agreement and moved my business elsewhere. That's something I never expected to do, but the trust that had been built over many years was lost.

I am very very disappointed in how techs handle certain situations and actually found a MAJOR issue in open ductwork in unfinished basement that NO ONE from this company even bothered to look into or do any sort of testing to find out root cause....when I stated that my husband and I smelled musty, dusty smells and were affected by allergies, I was told 'this is normal' and nothing else. ???? You pay almost $400 for their better tier plan for HVAC service, and what you get is little to NOTHING. The tech barely does anything and if you state you have issues, they blow you off. Lazy!!!! I hired another company to install a new system, wasn't about to give this company anymore of my money. They found a cracked UV bulb that Hotzople had replaced, my filter area was jacked and should have been fixed a LONG time ago, and I today found an extra tubing coming off my duct in basement that was never capped off, thus rendering my entire system basically non functional -- at least very wasteful..... I cannot believe this has been for 7 years and Hotzople NEVER once checked for any duct work issues, or anything or ran any tests, I was systematically blown off, these guys do they BARE Minimum and ONLY care about collecting their yearly $s for maintenance. I highly suggest everyone EDUCATE yourself about HVAC before hiring ANYONE, these companies anymore have become greedy, they don't care. I was also told I had issues with my old system, but never was 'shown' WHAT those issues were fully. Trust is a BIG thing if you want to keep your company running....these guys 100% lost my trust and now someone else will be getting my money!
