They gave me an estimate via email without having to see the job, which I would expect since it was a simple bathtub drain removal and replacement. They were clear that if there were difficulties getting the drain out it might cost more if other parts had to be replaced. They confirmed the appointment, showed up on time and did the job. PIPEWORKS plumber put holes in kitchen sink while installing faucets. He tried to use a sharp-pointed channel lock pliers, on a smooth round faucet housing--against faucet instructions. The tool slipped out of grasp, flew up and landed with points puncturing sink. After that, a Master Plumber confirmed the damage. The leaks necessitated a sink replacement, as well as re-installing the faucets. I was billed almost $300 for the $700 damages inflicted. When I asked the PIPEWORKS owner to fix the damages, he laughed and said "no one would believe your story"--so not even a refund for the $300 bill! You can imagine what I think about PIPEWORKS now! DO NOT USE. This place has zero customer service, the owner is very rude and condescending. With so many other options, take your business elsewhere. They will quote you one price and then you get invoiced for another. Then when you raise the disparity to them, the owner will tell you that if you don't like it, they can schedule a plumber to come out and undo the work. Seriously, you cannot make this stuff up. They also have high turnover and different employees will give you different quotes and inconsistent "diagnosis" that maybe the owner will honor but its likely they won't. Had them change employees mid job and the second employee quoted something much higher and then had to keep coming back to correct the work. The Pipeworks people all have that customer service chip that most other service companies lack. They are not just great people to deal with, but everyone -- from Todd and Terry to Tony, Nelson, and the rest of the crew -- really dedicated to getting the job done right, whatever it takes and whenever it has to happen. Case in point: Pipeworks installed new AC and tankless heating systems in my circa 1880 house in Kensington. Not easy chores in and of themselves. Getting everything working perfectly has required some expert tinkering - including on Christmas Eve and then on the 26th first thing. AC companies know once it's getting hotter that's when it's time to make $$$! Many of them will also advise on during the majority of your services or buying things before the summer at times. Sadly knowing this we still wanted to wing it, in the end we ended up losing that bet. After having over 5 "specialist" come to check out our unit they all advised either super expensive fixes or buy a new unit. Made no sense. My kitchen sink was stopped up with standing water which I could not clear. In addition, the pipes under the sink were leaking. Pipework came the next day as I asked. They snaked the pipe clear, replaced the pvc pipes under the sink, and replaced the garbage disposal (it was very old and not doing a good job) in less than 2 hours. Very courteous service and I would certainly call them again. They left the under sink area cleaner than how it was! I recommend them highly! read more

I had a plumbing issue come up about a week ago. I found TemperaturePro through home advisor and got a response quickly. The representative who called me was very friendly and worked to find an appointment time that would work for me. To be clear, I had another company call from my home advisor inquiry first but I canceled that appointment because the representative from TemperaturePro was just that nice! Today the plumber came out and I hate I did not write his name down because he was excellent. He was extremely polite and definitely knew his stuff. My plumbing issue turned out to be very minor and he had it fixed in no time and for a very good price. I have used other plumbers in the past and felt overcharged for poor work. My experience with TemperaturePro was the exact opposite and I would not hesitate to call them again when I need any service that they provide. Job well done! read more

These folks are simply amazing. We had a major problem (cracked cast iron drain pipe) and I wanted someone to install a new drain and tie into the good drain line in our home (about 30 feet away). I contacted almost two dozen plumbers, and finally hired these folks to do the work. Why did I hire them: 1) they are licensed, 2) easy to get hold of, and had excellent/clear communication by phone and email, 3) best value among licensed plumbers, and 4) they are knowledgeable, especially with a convoluted case like ours. They were punctual and arrived on time, always polite, worked very clean (always wore booties), and did an excellent job. A few days later, I hired them again and they did another 7 hours worth of plumbing work in our home. All in all, we had them in our home for a total of about 12.5 hours knocking out about 8 different tasks and they all came out perfect. As the rating says: This is as good as it gets. read more

We had to replace one of our AC units and decided to use Temperature PRO. The owner Todd Cordell was actually on site and did a majority of the work along with his to coworkers. They were extremely professional and always kept me in the loop over the 7 hour installation. They are, by far, the best and most honest HVAC companies in the area. I had Temperature PRO come by to do a check-up of our heating system before the winter and they did an extremely thorough job performing the checks. I have had another company perform a check-up in the past and they came and took some quick looks in the unit and were in and out in 15-20 minutes, but Temperature PRO came by and did a really complete job looking in the furnace and heat pump that took at least an hour. They took off all the panels and used a variety of multi-meters and tools to check the electrical connections, clean out the entire unit, and check pressures using some tools they brought. The service technician (Nelson) was really great at walking me through the entire process and what they were looking for, along with tips and personal experiences. They actually identified some major issues with my heat pump that the other companies on their checks missed. I felt really confident that i had found the right people so I had them actually come out and replace the furnace and heat pump for the house. They were also running a promotion for free hot water heater replacement and installation if i was replacing both the furnace and the heat pump too (lucky me because this was something i had wanted done anyways). They walked me through my options and didn't pressure me on any of the installation options which i appreciated. Once i selected my options they were able to come in the next day to install the furnace, heat pump, and hot water heater. These guys did a really great job! I was extremely impressed with their work (took a full day to do all the work - which was a lot of work!). The work was clean, they didn't cut any corners, and were very professional and helpful through the whole installation. I would recommend Temperature PRO for any kind of heating\plumbing needs. They were able to provide GREAT service and were very helpful and friendly to work with. The prices were reasonable and i will absolutely be calling them again in the future for any other maintenance, check-ups, or fixes that i need. I highly recommend Temperature PRO. read more

I spent time looking for someone to verify the issues with the AC at our place of business and consider alternatives to our current service company for a new install of replacement equipment. From the moment I spoke with Temperature Pro on the phone they were courteous and professional. I always felt like our business mattered to them and that ensuring we got the right equipment mattered to them. I communicated a great deal with Todd, the owner. He spent a lot of time discussing options, talking through the unique aspects of how we do business and what would work best for our situation.
