I think I found my new favorite liquor store!! Applejack was but after shopping here it's obvious whose standards of modern and more organized is better. Very easy to shop, aisles clearly marked prices competitive if not better. I really love this place! read more

Molly's is a really great liquor store. Probably one of the best, if not the best, liquor store in Denver. It is well-organized and logically laid out. It's easy to find what you're looking for - and even easier to find a bunch of goodies and treats that you aren't looking for, but treat yo'self, you know? They have an excellent beer section with a bunch of rare beers that you don't usually find elsewhere. Also, they have beer, wine, and spirits mailing lists, so you can find out about deals and special offers on the stuff you like. I have found Molly's prices to be very fair and reasonable. They will often have sales and deals on some pretty expensive items (single malt scotches, aged bourbons, imported wines and beers), which makes them an even better deal. If you join their club, it's an even better deal! Deals galore! The staff is nice and knowledgeable. Every time I shop here with my kid in tow, they offer her a lollipop or a sticker at checkout. So now my five year old keeps asking when we will go to Molly's Spirits, which is a little awkward, but whatever. read more

Nice , large store with a wide selection on most types of booze. I was able to locate the bottles I sought with little effort.

I have spent over $1,000 here this year. I was just in and spent another $100. They refused to let me use a larger cardboard box to carry out my purchase because they were 'super low on boxes'. I needed the thing to carry a full load of liquor over to a friend. I'd even bought that liquor at Molly's! They have all the cardboard boxes piled in front for people to use, I'm literally carrying out your trash for you. Maybe put them in back if you're so concerned someone will incorrectly select your special box. Blows my mind. read more

I love this store. Today I tried curbside pickup. It was so fast and efficient. I was done with the pickup in less than 10 minutes while there was a line of people still waiting to get in the store. read more

We did online ordering with curb pick-up today. Very easy web site. Zero contact. Order met in under an hour. The line of people would defiantly take longer. read more

Don't know why everyone is hating on this place because I've had nothing but great experiences here. Staff is overly friendly. Lots of liquor reps pushing their products, but that's the only complaint I have. Their prices, discount system, and selection makes this an easy choice to purchase our wine and liquor. read more

Molly's Spirits - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Denver, Colorado

This place is fantastic! We usually go to Argonaut since we live downtown but ventured this way because of the pride parade. They had a HUGE selection and at decent prices. They also have $5 off with a yelp check in on your first visit! There are often promotional people there giving away free drinks or glasses if you buy a certain beer, which is fun! My local shop had a gin I buy for $28 normally there for $16. read more

I have liked shopping at Molly's until I discovered they are charging $.10 for boxes under the guise of the Colorado bag law. I have confirmed with Denver 311 that the bag law does not apply to boxes. The manager claimed that their attorney advised them to do so. He also claimed that the money goes to Denver and not the store and that Costco charges for boxes. Neither Costco nor Costco liquor charges for boxes. They have a sign indicating they charge $.10 for boxes but I wonder if that really gets sent to the city. If you buy 12 bottles of wine, adding $.10 to a few hundred dollars seems a bit petty especially when you are basically recycling the box for them. read more

How am I just now finding this spot?! If you keep the same build your own 6 pack carrier with a certain number of punches you get $5 off. I was really impressed with the build your own selection too. One of the bigger ones in the highlands/Sloan's lake area. read more

This liquor store is hands down the best in the area. The selection is awesome and the employees are always happy to help you find a new beer or wine. If they don't have a personal recommendation, they'll find another team member who does without hesitation. It also doesn't hurt that the prices are amazing! read more

One of the only Liquor stores where I can find Purple Haze raspberry lager!!!! Came in on Halloween and the staff was super helpful with getting me a cart seeing as how I didn't grab one to begin with and I had my hands full with wallet, keys etc. and one of the employees showed me right to my beer of choice without hesitation! I loved that he knew what was in stock and exactly where to find it in a jiffy! Really big parking lot that is super easy to find and the store itself was so well organized and clean! I was very impressed and will be back soon!!! read more

Holy smokes! This place is massive and has a wide variety of beer, wine, and spirits. This location was extremely clean and great customer service. I would much rather go here than to Applejacks even when I know AJ is a bit cheaper! read more

Thank you, Molly's, for having a great layout, lots of options, great music, and for taking Covid-19 seriously. I visited after that lady's idiotic meltdown went viral because I want to support you -now I'm a regular customer. Karma is bidirectional read more

I've always enjoyed coming to Mollys with free tastings, endless beer, liquor and wine selections. I love their Sake selection too! The employees have always been helpful and so what about drama mask videos, but ..., wth is with the big silver mask wearing a mask on the front? It seriously scared my kid rolling in the parking lot one day! Please remove and if you must have a facial icon, by God think of something more warm. It's freakish! Love it! I especially enjoy Molly's when I have time to browse. Husband loves the liquor selection and I cruise the wine aisles.

Thought a Molly's Spirits review was fitting for a Friday, 'cause this place is total WEEKEND VIBES. I mean, it's great for every day, but especially lovely for days when you can pick up a really great bottle of vino, kick back, and enjoy. Molly's is the newer of the two boozy emporiums in town (Argonaut is the other and a little more central). I'm more than willing to head to the other side of town to shop at this alcohol adventureland--for what it lacks in proximity (at least for me), it makes up for in selection and cool staff (added perk of being in Lakeside: a giant parking lot!). Things that keep me comin' back to Molly's: + Wine, wine, and more wine. There's just SO MUCH WINE. They've got the biggest rosé selection I've ever seen, plus a crazy selection of canned wine for your summer shin digs. There's a tasting area where they host frequent tastings with different vendors, and as I mentioned before, their staff is awesome and will help you find whatever you need. + Although I'm not much of a beer gal, I could look at their fun beer coolers all day long. They have a rad little mix and match 6-pack area where you can get a little adventurous and try those weirdo beers you've been eyeing (but don't want to fully commit to a 6-pack). If you're looking for something funky, super specific, or crowd pleasing, you can't really go wrong here. + Drinking accessories! Wine glasses, openers, fun ice cube trays...as if drinking wasn't already so fun, they've got all the goods to make it even better. + Fun little "extras"--get in on the rewards program for discounts and specials (http://mollysspirits.com/liquor-specials/?utm_source=CTA&utm_medium=Yelp). If it's your first time here, don't forget to check in on Yelp for $5 off! Planning a wedding or big event? Molly's delivers (score!!) read more

I'm the (relatively) new owner of Hugo's Craft Beer & Spirits at 13th and Downing. I need to come into your shop and find out why we did not win the 5280 editorial award. Congratulations to you and your employees, I hope you won't hate us when we win it next year. I'm so happy for you, and that you are being recognized. I hear nothing but good things about your shop. Whether you are looking for wine, craft beer, liquor, local whiskeys or whiskey in general, Molly's Spirits Lakeside has one of the largest and most diverse selections I have ever come across. The craft beer selection is exceptional. They have loads of local brewery offerings, as well as national breweries - even some cigar city from Florida. There a large selection of regular and pony sized legs available for purchase. Molly's sell beer in six packs, individually, and provide a discount on the individual bottles when you create your own six pack. If you save your custom six pack boxes and return with 10, they give you money off your eleventh one! There is a walk in cooler with a larger bomber selection. They also have a large and extensive selection of sour beers. While I generally walk right by the wine aisles and pray my wife grabs a cheap one, there is a massive selection of wines. They even have a section dedicated to those rated above 90. They have offerings from all over the world. The spirits selection is top notch as well - I have purchased plenty of great scotch and bourbon from these guys. Molly's offers a rewards program where you receive a credit upon hitting a certain amount of spend. They also do a weekly email flyer which lists the current specials they are having. Staff is always super friendly and always plenty of parking! read more

I accidentally forgot my drivers license bc I had a life insurance medical exam at my house this morning. The front manager who was checking us out was a complete jerk in the way he handled the situation with zero tact. He aggressively pursued my husband and humiliated him in front of the entire store. I am 42 years old and in the hospitality business. This was no way to treat a local customer who will NEVER return to this store. Back to Singers I go. I am extremely disappointed and know alot of people in the neighborhood which I will br telling. We were just trying to get a bottle of champagne for an engagement gift to my brother in law. Way to ruin the day jerk! read more

I recently used Molly's for my wedding intoxication plan. The event team at Molly's was nothing short of amazing considering I waited until the last minute to finalize my liquor list. We forgot cups and plastic wares and they went back and grabbed some and brought them to the event. We even had some liquor left over and we were able to return some of the items I don't personally drink. They are the best?! read more

Extremely disappointed in customer service. Molly's was out of about 50% of their inventory and I was looking for a 1.75l of a tequila they were out of and I asked her if she would sell me two .750ml for the same price as the 1.75l and rudly said no. I had $500 in my shopping cart and I nicely asked again saying they may lose a few bucks on the tequila but will make $$ on my cart. She didn't give a **** so I left my entire cart and went and spent $800 at AppleJack. Sorry Molly's but if you don't have customer service you don't have business read more

A larger, hipper, has everything you need kinda liquor store. I used to live in Westminster at one point and this is similar to the Total Beverage (or at least the closest I can relate it to). Large floor plan, large wine selection, lots of cooked beverages as well as tons of shelf items. They ha e all my top picks, and shooter options. Staff has always been friendly, and the multiple check stands makes for a quick trip! If there were more of these I would be amped! read more

Bar none the best experience I have ever had at a liquor store. Great selection and prices, exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful staff. Will return every time I am in Denver. read more

Great selection and wonderful customer service. They are super helpful. If you are looking for something they've got it. Excellent selection of local cider and local booze. read more

The best prices and the most helpful employees of any liquor store I've been to. I use Molly's to stock the weddings I work so I usually have a large order almost every weekend and I will go out of my way to make sure I use Molly's. Kellie has helped me pick out wines and gave me her contact information so I could reach her for questions. Kyle is normally the unfortunate soul who I see when I get there so he is usually stuck with getting everything together and helping me load my car. I forget the names of the cashiers who have helped but every one of them has been patient and kind while ringing up the random amounts of alcohol I have. Thank you so much everyone, I highly recommend going to Molly's for not only your alcohol needs, but also a good experience with a nice and helpful staff. read more

You can find better prices elsewhere. My main gripe about this store, is that an employee kept complimenting my sisters friend on her eyes at checkout and it made us all uncomfortable. Turns out he snuck his instagram name in the bag with our receipt. The guy was at least 10 years older than her. read more

Has variety of selection and found the craft beers I was looking for. Good pricing and great service! I was out here on vacation from Minnesota and easily found what I was looking for. Very nice and organize business with big parking lot. Will be a sure stop if you are looking for craft beer from Breweries in Colorado or any spirits or liquor you will find with a price better than others. read more

Although not the most sprawling liquor store I've ever been in, Molly's has pretty much everything you could ever ask for. Local spirits and craft beers, a bomber cave, lots of wine, multiple cases for make-your-own six-packs, and high-end options for the big spenders. E and I decided to stop in last weekend, since we are rarely in that part of town and I had heard good things about Molly's. Plus, craft beer hunting is almost on the same level as thrifting, in that you see a lot of the same stuff over and over again but every once in a while a real gem pops up that you haven't seen anywhere else. Sure enough, Molly's yielded a few bombers and six-packs for us that we hadn't seen at any of the other metro-area liquor stores! We picked up a pack of seasonal Santa Fe Brewing (with an awesome can design), Anderson Valley's Winter Solstice Ale (a perennial favorite), a bomber of Jessup Farm/Barrel House's Whiskey Sour, and a bomber of Southern Tier's seasonal Cinnamon Roll (we like to get a bit wild and crazy on our bomber selections - if it's bad, you've only bought one!). Yelp has a great check-in deal for your first purchase here - $5 off $25 or more, so we definitely used that. They also have a typical liquor store rewards program - spend a lot of money, get a little money. Seeing as how it will probably be ages before we revisit, I'm not counting on our rewards piling up, but we signed up anyways. I also have to give a shout-out to our cashier, Jeanette. She was quite possibly the most pleasant, happiest, nicest person I've interacted with in a long time, and she capped our visit off so well. We also noticed some of the other staff roaming around the store was also quite helpful. Good selection with side of great customer service? You checked all the boxes, Molly's! read more

Molly's Spirits is the grown-up version of Toys R Us. 5 stars for this liquor store because: 1) Awesome selection. I like beer. I like wine. I like bourbon. I like gin and classic cocktails. Molly's doesn't seem to have a weak spot in the wonderful world of liquor. 2) Excellent service. I was there recently to purchase wine(s) for Thanksgiving dinner. I was looking at their display area of Thanksgiving-suggested wines when a staffer came and helped me choose. We spent no fewer than 10 minutes discussing my menu, what we liked and didn't like and found some stuff that I'm very excited to try. The Molly's staff knows their stuff. 3) Reasonable prices. I won't say Molly's is cheap, but I will say you get a good value for your hard-earned dollar. Molly's has a rewards program and you get double points when you shop Sunday through Tuesday. Also, I'm very appreciative that Molly's supports Colorado Public Radio! read more

Man, i'm surprised at all the harsh reviews! I found their staff friendly but they didn't hound me or anything. I found the electronic price tags plenty easy to read. You aren't going to find Avery 6-packs for $5, but the prices are on par with the other warehouse-style booze shops around Denver. Most importantly, they have an incredible selection. It cracks me up when people get all up in arms because someone took down their information. I hate to break this to you people, but unless you just came out of hiding from a cave out in the woods for the past 20 years, your info is already all over the place. Molly's scanning your driver's license is a drop in the bucket as far as what is already out there on you. It's a liquor store with great prices and an enormous selection. If you want to branch out and try some new type of beer/wine/liquor, check it out. If you want Coors Light, you'll be happy as well. read more

Rude staff. Was looking at high end stuff and they hounded me. Here's a hint if I'm looking I can afford it. Was refused service and had my ID thrown back at me. Why? I refused to let them scan my ID into thier computer. How weird of of a policy is that? Why do they need all of my personal information stored? So don't waste your time. Sucks I spent some time shopping too!! Just bought at one of the many other liquor stores in area. They didn't need to scan my ID into a computer! read more

Great googly moogly. If Argonaut made sweet sweet love to a fancy, upscale gentleman, this would be the resulting baby. I mean, it would be a big ass baby, because Molly's is huge. It's got the great selection and organization that Argonaut has and then some, minus a large number of drunken hobos buying forties. I still love me some Argonaut, but Molly's is closer to me now and has a gloriously spacious parking lot. Also, they have an astounding section of bombers and sours in their freezer. They even have store jackets for you put on when you go into the freezer. Now that's what I call customer service! read more

I once dated a gal named Molly and if her liquor cabinet looked anything like Molly's, we'd probably still be together. Hot damn though, this place has everything. The whiskey and bourbon selection is deep, the beer section is above par and it looks like they have a crap ton of wine too (not a big wine drinker). I have also found their pricing to be competitive. By that I mean some items are cheaper than average and some are more expensive. But honestly I'm not going there for the prices, I'm going there for the wide selection. If I need to buy a few items I'll go to Molly's because I know they will have what I'm looking for ... or something close to it. read more

Great Selection of craft beer - prices are some good, some just OK. Why do they want to print my full name and my DOB on my receipt? Not something I want to worry about. I requested they not do that and they said it's how they system works. I think I can find prices without the risk of having that info floating around. That's weak. read more

Let me tell you a little story about how amazing Molly's is... my girlfriend and I had a trip planned for quite some time to visit Napa where she once lived. Due to the unfortunate PG&E power shutoffs in NORCAL we were forced to cancel our trip last minute. I immediately knew what I was going to do. I contacted Mollys. And Kellie from the wine staff spent over an hour with me. She informed me about many of the vineyards we were going to visit and what wines they made. We ended up coming home with most of the wine we would have tasted in Napa Valley and had an incredible staycation with delicious wine. A huge thank you to Molly's for the personal service and for saving the day! read more

Seriously rude employees! I literally had one of them step on my foot whilst spouting whiskey knowledge to a customer and then barely squeak out an excuse me- WTH?! Lets start by saying the only good thing about mollys is the selection and Jamalle, super friendly compared to the rest of your staff! The only clerk I would go to HOWEVER: I just went I there todat jan 2nd (my birthday) ive been in mollys a number of times since they opened and a couple times had my little brother , who is my DD come in with me. No problem, however tonight my wife and myself were refused service with about 300 dollar purchace becuase my DD little brother was with. The sign says no one under 21 with out parent or gardian. I am my little brothers legal gardian and he obviously lives with me. However I have seen people with little kids get service with no questions? Honestly I would rather pay a few bucks more at my other small stores than to be refused service at this place. Not to mention the two women were rude. oh well, it happens! Again Jamalle thank you for your friendly service and being the ONLY KIND clerk at mollys. read more
