As soon as I placed the order, I sent a text message to confirm if my order went through and to see if I could get it delivered instead, which wasn't a problem at all! I was also given a timeframe of when Damien would bake and ship out my goods, which was accurate and fast. The hardest part was waiting for it to be delivered, which was 2 long days but that's only because I'm impatient. When I did receive my order which was on Saturday, March 4th, everything was wrapped up perfectly in bubble wrap. Almost all of the cookies were in perfect condition but that's only because the mail lady had the box flipped on the side. I couldn't wait until desert time, so I opened a pack of 3 cookies that come pre-wrapped, and left no crumbs, they're THAT delicious. After eating a normal meal, I cracked open the Peach Cobbler that came in two large mason jars. It's honestly the greatest thing ever. I ate about 1/4 of that mason jar in one sitting before stopping myself. Everything tasted super fresh If you're considering ordering, stop thinking about it and just do it, you won't regret it.

If you're ever in Sanford and craving authentic Mexican ice cream or snacks, this spot is…read moredefinitely a must-stop. The place is clean, welcoming, and always busy, which says a lot on its own. Most of the staff are younger, so you won't quite get that Chick-fil-A level of customer service, and the workspace can look a little messy at times, but honestly, that's mostly because they stay busy. It's nothing that would keep me from coming back. I personally come here for the raspados de Tamarindo; a shaved ice topped with a homemade tamarind sweet sauce that is absolutely worth it every time. On this visit, I also grabbed a Mexican-style elote (corn on the cob), and if you've never had one... you're seriously missing out. It's topped with mayo, cheese, lime juice, and Tajín. I know it might sound a little unusual if you've never tried it, but don't knock it till you do, you might just become hooked.

We have never been to a restaurant that serves you your breakfast cafeteria style! I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing if a breakfast joint does it like that. Our first impression when walking into Cakes, Pastries, & More is that there is no character to the restaurant. It's just a spacious square. We both got breakfast plates. The eggs were their best item, but was still not very good. The hash brows had no flavor and were undercooked (if you can imagine that) and bacon tasted like it had been sitting out for a day. The "sweet" tea is not sweet. The restrooms are nasty, but the rest of the restaurant is clean. Why just the restrooms? Both the solid customer service and the cleanliness of the rest of the restaurant are about best things going for this joint.

Usually I get 3 creme, 3 chocolate, and then a variety with the other six. A dozen runs just about $17. Get them first thing in the morning when they are hot and fresh. It's located in a sketchy looking shopping center and you park and enter around the side, not the front. They have a secondary restaurant inside with a bunch of tables and a couple of restrooms. Sometimes the lines here can be super long, I recommend calling your order in ahead. This way you can skip the line and just pick up your order. They have a ton of different flavors, lemon, apple, strawberry, raspberry...all worth trying!! A dozen is good for 2 people ;-). They will keep a couple days if you don't eat them all the first day. My only complaint is that I wish they were open Sundays. Usually I pick them up when I'm passing through on a Friday or Saturday morning headed out of town. I'd love to be able to pickup a dozen on the way home too!

We were surprised by how spacious it was inside when we walked in. We explained that it was our first time visiting, so the employee encouraged us to try some samples to see what we liked. He also shared that the Vanilla Biscoff was his favorite. As we tried a few flavors, I saw a sign for ice cream flights that included four kid-sized scoops for just $10!! I eventually decided on the Vanilla Biscoff, Cookies & Cream, Cake Batter Brownie, and Peanut Butter Cookie Dough. All of it was fantastic!
