If you're ever in Sanford and craving authentic Mexican ice cream or snacks, this spot is definitely a must-stop. The place is clean, welcoming, and always busy, which says a lot on its own. Most of the staff are younger, so you won't quite get that Chick-fil-A level of customer service, and the workspace can look a little messy at times, but honestly, that's mostly because they stay busy. It's nothing that would keep me from coming back. I personally come here for the raspados de Tamarindo; a shaved ice topped with a homemade tamarind sweet sauce that is absolutely worth it every time. On this visit, I also grabbed a Mexican-style elote (corn on the cob), and if you've never had one... you're seriously missing out. It's topped with mayo, cheese, lime juice, and Tajín. Warning--the carne' asada fries will feed 4 people. I live south of Sanford but I was here recently hiking with some friends and stopped to have tacos near this bakery. I looked up this place on Yelp but to my surprise there was nothing listed. What I found when I walked in was not what I expected. This place is amazing and they have so many incredible popsicle options and treats. For anyone who loves Mexican food or snacks or even just popsicles, you need to stop by and check them out!! They have elote in a cup and it's one of the best elotes I've had I a long time and if you've never had it, it's a must try-it's tangy and creamy and bursting with flavor. My son and I both ordered our own elote because I wasn't sharing . We also ordered popsicles. This was the best coconut popsicle I've ever had. I will be stopping by this place from now on when I come to town. read more
