Everything taste wonderful. I'm a regular shopping at Ross and always wanted to try this place. It's so easy to forgot about but it just around the corner. I purchased the Italian l cream cake with coconut shavings and the double decker tuxedo cheesecake after 6pm. Everything stored away so I wasn't sure how fresh or moist it would be at that time of day and presentation. But no need to worry because both were excellent and moist. So glad the Italian cake didn't taste freezer-burned like one I've had in Charlotte. A++ I can't wait to try a latte next time. read more

5 I came into town to see my grandparents for Father's Day. I had a drive back home and wanted to grab a coffee for the way home and stopped at Dolce Aroma for some coffee. My cousin and I were greeted at the door, the person working actually opened the door for us which was super nice. The barista was amazing honestly. The customer service was unmatched. I am a bit indecisive so I wasn't sure which flavor latte I wanted, I ended up getting amaretto and caramel flavors in my iced latte with almond milk. This combo was put together by the barista and I was thoroughly impressed by it. So good. I ended up ordering an americano with heavy cream, a Frappuccino and an apple danish in addition to my latte for my family. It was a great experience. read more

HOLY CANNOLI!!!!!! (See what i did there? LOL) This place is amazing, wow I was truly shocked. A man named Shaun is a truly an amazing gem to this establishment. The customer service alone would bring me back! Shaun has a welcoming presence and let us know right away what desserts to try and if we wanted any coffee / Starbucks drink he can make it, but better. (Love the confidence!) We ordered 1 cannoli, and 1 chocolate / hazelnut gelato=11.77 which I don't understand why it was 12.00, maybe $2 of tax? Who knows. We also tipped Shaun $2.00 because everything was GREAT! We will definitely be coming back for the cherry cheesecake and other flavors of their delicious gelato. If you're looking for a great dessert place, this place is for you! This was the first place I bookmarked when planning my trip to Fayetteville because of their espresso recommendations and accommodating working environment. Luckily if you're staying somewhere near Cross Creek Mall this place is in walking distance for you, as it was in my case. While my boyfriend got his hair cut next door I strolled in and asked my many coffee and dessert making questions to the staff. I ended up getting a local espresso with soy (I believe their only non-dairy milk option) and a cookies and cream candy fudge circle to go. They had tons of pastries, cannolis, peanut brittle variations, gelato options, and coffee flavor drinks. There is also a restaurant attached to the side of the cafe where you can order all kind's of foods and alcoholic beverages. In fact, when it comes up on your bank statement it will read as "Elizabeth's Pizza" rather than Dolce Aroma so don't be alarmed on that. My latte was good, as really just simply that. Not bad, not eccentric, but did the job. The cookies and cream candy like cookie was very sweet and creamy and could've used a little more chocolatey flavor to it's crunch. Both were definitely worth the purchase and well priced. The staff were pretty nice and well informed. The parking lot is huge, no need to worry there! And there's dessert options for pretty much everyone. Next time I'm in I'd like to try the house coffee and a cannoli while working on my laptop in the cute little back, working space. read more

One of my favorite sweet spots! There's always this younger man working in the bakery shop, he's very conversational and very well spoken. He goes over and beyond with costumer service. When I dine inside he's sure to top off my drinks in a heartbeat and ensures he's there for all my needs no matter how busy. The cakes are amazing, red velvet and carrot cake are my favorites so far. The gelato truck ran into some issues with their freezer. Unfortunately their gelato is out of stock for a bit. But when they have it back in stores i can assure you it's worth visiting for! read more

This truly is a hidden little gem in Fayetteville, NC. First thing I would have to mention is the location; it is in the shopping plaza along with Ross and other stores so if you're out shopping i'd suggest to stop by here before or after! They have a great selection on the menu, lots of coffee options for hot or cold flavors as well as smoothies, adult beverages, and wide selection of desserts. I ordered a latte and Sean offered to make it with flavors and I decided on the Vanilla Hazelnut and it is the best coffee I have ever had! This is a 1/2 review as I plan to go in the morning for hot coffee. A friend recommended Dolce Aroma to me and I decided to check it out today after I got out of work early. I order the mocha frappe and blackberry cheesecake to go (SUGAR OVERLOAD! ) The mocha frappe was probably one of the best I have ever had! I love fraps but I hate overly sweet coffee drinks and fraps are typically just straight up sugar. Even with the chocolate syrup on the side of the cup mixed in the drink you could still taste the amazing coffee flavor. 10/10 for the frappe. I'm not typically a cheesecake fan, but the blackberry cheesecake was really good. It's wasn't painfully sweet like some cheesecakes and I actually wanted to eat the whole piece. My only critique is that it could have had more blackberries in it. I personally prefer fresh fruit desserts, but if you love cheesecake and blackberries this is definitely a bit for you. The MINI gelato is ahhhhhmazing. Why didn't anyone tell me about these?!? So cute and so tasty!!! BUT you have to eat them fast..the gelato is soft and NC is hot. Also, sooooOoooOoo many desserts. Cute little coffee shop! The workers are super nice and attending and service was quick. Not a big tiramisu fan, but theirs was very good! The smoothie was okay, I've had better. I stopped in here on Sunday afternoon to grab a quick caffeine fix, and was pleasantly surprised. It was totally empty besides the barista and myself, and after tasting my drink I'm quite shocked ! I ordered a caramel macchiato and the barista asked if I liked hazelnut flavoring (which caught me off guard) but I said "sure ya whatever surprise me". After I paid and he began to make my drink, and then asked if I wanted one shot or two of espresso (2 of course)... but I was surprised that was not an upcharge. The drink was divine, it was extra hot, just the perfect amount of sweetness, and the espresso definitely put a kick in my pants! Although I didn't order any of their baked goods, their case was filled with scrumptious looking cakes, cookies, pastries, etc! Service can be a little slow, but I think it's because when we were there, the servers were having to jump back and make drinks between checking on their tables. Their coffee is hot and on point! Also their baked goods are delicious. I haven't tried out their bar/liquor services. It's connected to a pizza place which I hear (read on yelp) is a little spotty, but hopefully management has taken care of those hiccups. So far, my experience with the coffee baristas have been great as they are very attentive and kind. I've been awesomely served by a gal and a younger gentlemen and they were both great. They offer free WiFi and is good for a solo study session. There are bigger tables for larger groups but I think they try to save those for those dining in. read more

This is not Starbucks. It is much much better. The Barista will make your drink according to your tastes. They are always experimenting to offer you something different. Their chai tea is a step up from Oregon chai for non-coffee drinkers. They also have great fruit smoothies my favorite is pina colada with mango. Their coconut cake is exquisite. Yummy. I was guaranteed a great macchiato, and was delivered a sub-par macchiato. I'm very picky with coffee, but his guarantee surprised me. I own a coffee shop and definitely know my coffee. He burned the espresso, and it was a bit sour. I tasted it right away. He said he needed to clean the machine, but I think that was an excuse. I don't recommend this place for espresso drinks. I can't comment on the ice cream or food, since I didn't try it. read more
