Cozy well worn Pub close to Connolly Train Station.

Had two hours to kill before my train to Wicklow, I found the exterior of Molloy's Pub authentic and inviting, upon entry the interior was also. I was almost immediately befriended by a lovely local couple they gave me some very pertinent information about the neighborhood surrounding the pub. I stayed for a few pints and some robust Guinness stew. The locals didn't want me to leave, but I had a train to catch to continue my journey down south. If you have to time to kill near Connolly station, I recommend you stop in a for a pint and some local if well worn color.

Mollys Pub was the first place we ate on our trip in Ireland. We didn't plan to stop in, we were just very hungry from our long flight from California. The waitress and bartender were awesome and genuinely interested in ensuring we had a great experience in their establishment. The Guinness was obviously great and the food was excellent! Put Mollys on your list of pubs to checkout for the food and imbibing!

I have to agree with Dani here! This pub serves some of the cheapest and best poured pint of Guinness by a landslide. At least in this neck of the woods! The pub is relaxing and welcoming. It's a great place for a nice quiet pint or if you're looking for a bit of craic. It's definitely a place to get yourself in a good convo! If the guinnss has left you a bit peckish they also do some pretty decent pub grub. I don't eat baby animals aka no lamb, but my friend assured me that the Irish Stew was absolutely delicious!

A little birdie had told me that I could get the best and cheapest pint of the black stuff in Molloys on Talbot Street, so I ventured down that way to find out if this was true. I found Molloys to be surprisingly warm and welcoming, because it is near Busaras I had assumed that most of its clientele would be tourists. Granted, there are a lot of tourists in Molloys but also a lot of locals making for a great mix. And well, what can I say: the pint was amazing! And just over 4 Euro so definitely one of the cheapest I've had so far. One star removed though because the staff were a bit stand-offish though.

The BEST pint of Guinness you'll ever have! Great food, courtesy of Eileen, and awesome bar staff/owners. It's a TRUE Irish pub and not to be missed. Skip Temple Bar go see John and Alison down the pub, they'll treat ya like family!

Went in Sept 2024 and they said they don't serve food despite the menus shown here. Nice pub for a drink though.

My husband and I stopped by for dinner and I ordered a caesar salad and their fish chowder. The caesar was great but my gosh the fish chowder and accompanying brown bread rocked my socks. So, much so, that I did what I never do--I revisited this spot more than once on the same trip (so many places to explore I almost never do this!). That fish chowder is craveable. They do live music on occasion as well and so we were able to enjoy that while sipping our Guinness. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly. They aren't as small as they look at first glance, on one of our visits, we sat upstairs which has a second dining area. Amazing! Get to it!

Had to excuse ourselves from the table multiple times to freshen drinks. The food was good. Once again, absolute star was the Buffalo Wings! Ireland? I mean what??? Perfectly cooked, sauced nicely, just spectacular! The band was playing a mix and of Irish Music and American Rock songs played to Irish tunes. Very fun and well engaged with the crowd. The restaurant itself is cozy and very warm. A great night was had by all!
