First of all I want to say that choosing Molivate has been one of the best decisions in my life. Moli saw potential in me that I never would have seen otherwise. Being a mom, cancer survivor, and working full time I had let myself go. I slowly started getting into working out and wanted to transform my physique and have been eyeing Molivate for some time. Fortunately I was able to get on Moli's schedule and he put me to work both physically and mentally. Moli is everything that I needed in a coach and as a friend in my fitness journey. If you have doubts whether you can make the change, follow my lead and you will see that anything is possible and choosing Molivate has made such a great impact on my overall health. Not to mention I've made such great friendships as well.

I found Molivate on Yelp in 2021 they had outstanding reviews. I got on a the waitlist and signed up with George. This gym is a family, I've never felt so welcomed. The support system is huge every trainer and every trainee cheer you on. I signed up to lose weight for my wedding I lost over 100 pounds within the 2.5 years I was at the gym. My wedding came and went and I loved how I felt and looked. I stayed because I had more work to do. I found out I was pregnant in 2023 I kept working out it kept me and my baby healthy. I stopped a month before my baby was due, I've been gone for 6 months now and I miss George and Molivate so much. I'm trying to manage being a new mom so I can't come back yet but I'm implementing what George has taught me into my new mom life and getting back on track. I'm so thankful for the team at Molivate I probably wouldn't have been healthy enough to have a baby if it wasn't for you guys I'll always be thankful. Take the chance it's worth it

I don't know that I express the gratitude I have for Molivate in words. I came here because I had hit a plateau when it came to loosing my covid weight and couldn't get past it no matter what I did, nothing was moving the needle. I contacted Moli and he was booked but he recommended I see one of his other trainers, Renato, and I am so happy I did. I feel like Renato was a perfect fit for me, he pushed me just enough but also not to a point of making me never want to come back again. I started at Molivate not really knowing what to expect but I'm currently leaving with confidence, self control and a routine in place. What I loved most about him was the fact that he actually went through a transformation him self so he knew the struggle we were all experiencing. Renato became more than just a trainer, he because a friend and my hype man when needed. Hands down the best place to be! P.S. They are really busy and have a waiting list so put your name in now!

When I first signed up and started here I wasn't sure what to expect. I figured a trainer would give me workouts and keep me accountable, and yes this is how it did start but it quickly became so much more to me. It became a part of my life and something I look forward to every week. It became a safe place for me to be in my own head and not think about my kids, my chores, my problems. Every week I came and watched people and myself come in and crush goals and PRs and walk out of there standing taller. Coming to Molivate was a reminder to keep getting stronger and not just physically but in every part of my life. The talks from not just my trainer Paulo but the owner Moli has motivated and help me push through any physical and mental block. All the trainers there are amazing. I've trained with Paulo and will always be grateful for the things he's taught me. He has helped me in so many ways and I will be forever grateful for meeting him and working with him. Don't sleep on doing this for yourself. It truly is the best investment for yourself. I have never felt better and more confident in my own skin. Being a 40 year old mom I never thought I would feel that again. But I feel better now than ever.

I started training at Molivate in February with Austin. From working night shifts being a wife and mom I wanted something for myself. I had never joined a gym prior to Molivate as I would mostly work out on my own at home. In the beginning I could not do a proper push up, squat with a barbell, deadlift etc. I continued to show up and consistently pushed myself at training and outside of training. I have completely grown to love lifting and continue to want to lift heavy. It is crazy to see how my body composition has changed from dropping body weight, fat, and adding muscle. Thank you so much Austin and Moli! I highly recommend Molivate.

This review is long overdue. I cannot recommend Molivate enough. Whether you've been powerlifting since forever or you've taken a hiatus from fitness, you'll get so much out of this gym. All of the trainers here make you feel comfortable no matter what level of fitness you're at. Prior to joining this gym, I was generally active, but I just wasn't seeing the results I wanted (physique and strength-wise). Paulo helped me achieve all of my goals in the 10 months I had him as a trainer. Like so many others, during COVID I got pretty lazy and gained fat. I actually was the heaviest I had ever been. When I joined, I told Paulo my focus was primarily on fat loss and strength building. At the end of my training, Paulo helped me hit maxes and PRs on all my compound lifts. In total, I lost about 15% body fat and 10 lbs. Although the workouts can be killer and make you want to die sometimes (half joking), the feeling after each session is so rewarding. Overall, I enjoyed my fitness journey here, and it helped me continue to live a more active, healthy lifestyle - eating and training w/ intention and confidence. I really loved the community, the environment, and the friends I made at this gym. The only reason I stopped my membership was because I had to move out of state, otherwise, I definitely would have stayed. Thanks again to Paulo for being an awesome trainer, and everyone at team Molivate for making every session fun and worthwhile. I miss you guys! I'm waiting for the Vegas location, Moli :P

Molivate isn't just a gym, it's a life changing environment with a family for life! Moli and his team are amazing trainers. They are all knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. If you are willing to put in the work, make some lifestyle changes, and most importantly trust them, they WILL get you exactly where you want to be. The trainers at Molivate not only transform bodies, they transform lives and mentalities. I have been training with Moli for almost 9 months. Thanks to him, I have transformed my body's composition in a way I was never able to do on my own... I have been training for many, many years and have never been able to achieve what I have since I started training with Moli. I feel like I finally understand how my body works with workouts and eating habits. I finally figured out how to live a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Where do I even start... Training with Moli has completely changed my life. I started training with Moli in 2020. I was always thin and had trouble gaining muscle. Moli made a meal plan perfect for me. He taught me how to perfect my form while lifting. He taught me the do's and donts in the gym which helped me become confident in any gym i went to. He showed me that fitness is a life style and a journey. I can always count on him whenever I need advice. He is not only a trainer. He is a Life Mentor. He is a counselor. He is now a friend. I stopped training with Moli 6 months ago but he is still always there for me whenever I need him. When I say he is the BEST TRAINER EVER!!! I mean it.

I have been training at Molivate on and off since 2018. I moved away and moved back to Long Beach in 2021 and have been training a Molivate ever since. Prior to training at Molivate I have always been active and into fitness but had problems managing my weight, following a workout plan, staying consistent, and did not see any results. I was convinced that I had poor genetics and a slow metabolism. I found that my body weight and physique was beginning to become more and more difficult to maintain and was not happy with how I looked or felt. At the tail end of COVID I had gotten to my heaviest with my body fat hanging around 30% + and my weight hanging around +200 lbs. I met Moli years back through my fiancée. I started following Molivate on IG and was inspired by the impact and the results Moli brought to his clients. I decided to invest in myself and Molivate has transformed my life ever since. Moli has helped me develop a strong foundation of knowledge in fitness, life, nutrition, and mindset. Prior to training with Moli I was battling low self esteem, low energy, and had poor habits. Since I have been training at Molivate I have been in the best mental and physical state I have ever been in my life. All the lessons I have learned at his gym has translated to better outcomes with work, life, and personal relationships. Moli is a great trainer, he does a great job getting a baseline of your current state and building a plan for your future state. He was on top of tracking my progress through monthly measurements, weekly weigh ins and customized workout programs. Moli does a great job of holding me accountable and he isn't afraid to call me out if I start to slack but he also provides me with grace when I am hard on myself. Since I have been training with Moli at the start of 2021 I have dropped down from 200 lbs to 157 lbs, got my body fat down from 30%+ down to 7% and competed in my first men's physique competition! Moli has been a great life coach and trainer. He continue to push and challenge me to do things that I have never dreamed of. My advice to anyone out there who may be interested/considering in training at Molivate. Do it! Investing in myself was the best decision that I have ever made. I used to talk myself out of it because change/growth was scary. My mind would create excuses as to why I shouldn't. Often times the price or cost of training deterred me and the fear of missing out on life because of the healthy lifestyle change. Everything started changing and transformed for me once I stopped thinking with a "loss mindset" and starting thinking with a "growth mindset."

I grew up pretty much a stick, my nickname growing up was toothpick. Fast forward to the ripe age of 29 where your metabolism goes downhill and you just look like you're pregnant when in reality you're sporting a food baby. There were other personal training gyms that I did my research on but the reviews and photos posted on the Molivate page caught my eye. I did not know anything about weight training prior to personal training. I started at 44% body fat. I was what you called a skinny fat since I had no muscle on me. Within several months, I was able to drop to 27%. Following your meals and the exercise splits that Moli provides you; you will see results. Moli has helped me grow mentally and physically. I am more confident in myself in terms of my self-esteem, my appearance and my capability. Moli makes you accountable inside and outside the gym, which makes you want to work harder to reach your goal. I've made a lot of friends at this gym to the extent where I can even call them my family. I've been training with Moli for a solid year now and cannot wait to see what the next year brings. Without Moli, I wouldn't be where I am now. Fitness isn't just a hobby, it's a lifestyle.

I can not praise or thank Moli and his gym enough for changing my life!!! The physical AND mental growth I have already achieved since training with Moli is exactly what I have been needing and striving to reach for years!! The gym is always clean, organized, very well maintained and bumping the BEST hype music! Moli and his other trainers are some of the MOST inspiring, motivating and supportive people I have ever met!! Renato! Kuya! Looking back on the past year, and where I am today, let me start off by saying, wow I've come a long ways and thank you for always believing in me and pushing me to be a better me. You've helped me grow, mentally, physically and emotionally. Through this entire journey you've became more than just a trainer, but a friend and brotha. * People ask me, "Why do you work out so much?", "You're already fit.", or "Why do you pay for a trainer?". You only have one body and investing into a healthy LIFESTYLE is well worth it. Being fit and working out is 1/3 of the formula. There's other dynamics you also have to worry about, such as diet, consistency and most importantly understanding your own body. Let's say I didn't care to much for my diet before coming here. Fast forward two year @molivate my trainer @mv8_renato really took the time to figure out different diets, and after trial and error, I'm sitting today at a solid 178 muscle mass with 12% body fat, compared to 155 one year ago. I never was able to cross the 160s my ENTIRE LIFE. The best part about @molivate is there's no judging or need to be ashamed of anything. The entire molivate team understands what kind of goals your trying to accomplish (whatever it maybe) and they're willing to help get you there, with no special tricks etc. HARD-WORK, EFFORT, and most importantly ensuring YOU DONT GIVE UP ON YOURSELF. ACCOUNTABILITY I will always carry the #molivatemindset wherever the Army takes me. It's been a real pleasure making new friendships and meeting like minded people who #FSU and are on that grind working their way to the top. There's a reason why this personal training gym has a waiting list for months and has a 5 star rating. From a military leader standpoint, with 11 years of experience these fitness professionals truly embody what leadership means and are not there for your money, but are here to LEAD YOU.and teach you regarding a HEALTHY LIFESTYLE. Molivate is where it's at and I promise you will not regret your decision. Best investment ever, and for me it was TRUSTING the PROCESS.

Molivate gym is a 10 out of 10! All the trainers there - Moli, George, Renato, Paola, and Yenni- are some of the most inspiring, motivating people I know. They're personable, know their stuff, and keep you accountable. The vibe of the gym is like you're part of a family, you get to know other clients, the other trainers, and the owner Moli himself. Such a positive environment! I trained at Molivate twice so far and love it. The first was in 2017 to get shredded for my wedding. The second time around was with my trainer and now friend, Renato. I went back after my first baby, I was 16 months postpartum, and finally ready to get back in a shape and have a regular workout schedule. Renato's a great trainer, he customizes the workouts to meet my needs, good listener and keeps the workouts fun. I ended up losing 10 lbs and 10% body fat. I'm a petite 4'11 woman so that was a lot in that timeframe. I came out stronger than the first time around too, my squats and deadlifts were more heavy, and shoulders more defined. The only reason why I stopped after 10 months was because I found out I was pregnant with my second baby! I continued training with him til I was about 9-10 weeks pregnant and when I told I was pregnant he right away tailored our workouts. I think the mental transformation was even better. After having a baby, life gets chaotic and I forgot to take care of myself. When I finally came back to Molivate, I gained my confidence back, self esteem, and motivation to get back and stay in control of a healthy lifestyle. All good qualities I am carrying with me in my second pregnancy that I didn't have before. So definitely coming back for a third time, once I'm ready!

Why on earth would you drive so far to a Trainer?" Is the million dollar question! I ONCED trained/ worked out to "look good" but I NOW train/ workout to feel good. I discovered that it relieves my anger, stress, anxiety and even the blues. I work in one of the busiest if not thee busiest ER as a registered nurse. Also not to mention, I've dealt with an array of signs and symptoms of an autoimmune disorder. I found that training was not only medicinal but therapeutic. Over the last FIVE years, Moli grew to understand and work with me. It's a blessing to have such an understanding coach/trainer in my corner who reads me pretty well. He knows when something is OFF. And, instead of sending me home because my performance is subpar, modifies my workouts so I can remain active. That's what makes personal training so great because everyone has their own circumstances. Furthermore, as an old timer ( I came from Dynamic days aka deMOLItion crew era ), I've had the privilege to witness Moli grow as a trainer and as a business owner. The atmosphere is so uplifting with free-spirited trainers who engage you even if you're not their client. The clients are supportive and empowering of each other. My all time favorite is witnessing someone's first day because it's not only rewarding to see their physique change but they're confidence blossom. I have had a handful of trainers in my lifetime none have come close to Moli and his crew. Hands down, thee Best! read more

Im not a review person but i gotta say if you are ready to change your life for good health looks whatever and i mean this moli is probably the best or one of the best trainers in the United States not only he supports you with meal plans and work outs like every trainer but he also fights with you when things get tough. I been knowing moli since 2015 and for me like everyone else i've had problems here and there and there's been times that im all sad about it but as soon as i get to the gym with moli i forget them he is such a positive person he motivates you and even try to find a solution for it he goes out of his way to make sure you are healthy not only physically but also mentally If there was 10 stars review he deserves 11 read more

I've been training with Moli for the past 3 months and making the decision to train with him has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. As a working mom, I was feeling drained, out of shape, and sluggish. My clothes weren't fitting the way I wanted them to, and most importantly, I wanted to be and feel healthier (especially after overcoming cancer). At first, I made a million excuses as to why I didn't need a trainer. I could do it by myself, I could save the money, blah blah blah...but after seeing the transformations of his clients (and especially how he transformed my husband physically and mentally), I knew I wanted in...I was on his waitlist for about 8 months, but I was finally able to get in as a client...and in only 3 months, I have results that I'm sure I could never get on my own. He customizes a training program and meal plan for each individual client. I now know exactly how I should be eating whereas before I was guessing (and getting no results). He takes all of your measurements and sets goals so you can see how your body is changing, and how your strength is increasing. And bonus...Moli doesn't just care about losing weight or gaining muscle, but truly cares about his clients and their overall well being...I feel stronger, healthier, happier, and much more confident. Just a little shy of a year since I started at Molivate with Moli, so it's only fitting I give a review! I've always been pretty active, either lifting weights, playing sports, and most recently Crossfitting, but I just never quite got the results I wanted. I was either really strong and didn't look good at all or really thin and looked decent with clothes on, but what you would call "skinny fat." I found Molivate through a friend and told myself I would join for 3-4 months until I lost some weight, but never expected the results I got in such a short time, and I've been hooked ever since! In my first 8 weeks, I lost 12% body fat and 11 pounds and was amazed at how much my body had changed in such a short time. I saw more results and began to see my body look the way I had always wanted in just 8 short weeks versus a full year at a CrossFit gym. Aside from the hard work everyone puts in at this gym, the support you get from the trainers and clients as well is amazing. It's like having a whole new family where everyone is trying to reach the same goal. Jess, David, Dee, Charlie, Renato, and Moli have always made Molivate feel like home and a fun place to be. So if you're second-guessing yourself or are just intimidated, do yourself a favor and just dive right in! I guarantee this will be the best decision you will ever make for yourself. read more

Looking for Life Changing Results? Well you've come to the right place but you better be willing to work your butt off. Molivate is more than just a training facility it's a team of professional individuals who are truly devoted and passionate in seeing their clients succeed. In just a month,I have lost a total of 8 pounds and 18 inches off my body and I'm NEVER looking back! With the guidance and knowledge I've received from George Salas, his attention to detail from your 1. Initial evaluation (measurements, photos) 2. Weekly Customized Meal-Plan to meet your goals 3. Well structured workout routines and 4. Daily check-in's to make sure you stay on top your game! I truly wish I would have made the commitment to start this fitness journey way sooner. Have emailed the trainer 3 times, also, tried to message on Instagram... BOTH no response... emailed the main email he informed me that he would have the trainer contact me ... still nothing!! VERY Disappointed really wanted to try this place after reading all the good reviews and it was the perfect location for me read more

Jessica is an AMAZING trainer! She starts as a trainer, but ends up a friend. A friend who genuinely cares about your health, mind, and body. She is very thoughtful and supportive. She checks in on my non-training days which makes me feel like I am not alone in this journey of mine. My workout sessions with Jessica are fun, challenging, and well-balanced. Where do I begin?!? So I've been going to the gym on and off for five years. Seeing absolutely no results. I knew I was doing something wrong. One of my friends recommended Molivate. I checked out his page and knew this was exactly what I needed. I began training with Moli three months ago and let me tell you I saw the change immediately. I couldn't ask for a better trainer. Moli sets up a list of goals monthly which I've hit every month. I am in love with my meal plan(which I never thought I'd say) I honestly can't believe the changes I'm seeing in my body. I never thought that I'd ever have this much definition. Besides the fact that I am happy with my outwards appearance I'm even happier with the confidence I have now. Moli has been a mentor and a motivational speaker as well. He showed me that working out is not all about the outwards appearance but being confident. I love the fact that he explains every exercise in detail. Tells me what body part the exercise focuses on and makes sure my form is correct. Now when I go to the gym i feel comfortable and confident doing all exercises. I am so happy with the results I've seen so far. I have never felt so good. Moli is literally the BEST! read more

Let me just say from the outset that training with Moli is really stupendously tough. Not just, give me three more push ups tough , but, oh my goodness I'm going to faint and collapse unbelievably tough. He wants to see not only my 100% but 110% of my strength and power until I reach my maximum limit! He pushes me hard, far harder than I would have thought I could, totally out of my comfort zone, in order for me to realize that i am far stronger than I think I can be. It's certainly been a massive physiological, but more so a psychological battle for me, and Moli has been there supporting yet firmly pushing me every step of the way. He asks a lot from me, a huge commitment in fact, but his energy, the heart and soul and belief he tangibly puts in inspires me to push myself harder and harder. My first month was really HARD for me, hell in fact, and I doubted my ability to have the strength to continue. After every workout I would check my heart rate and see if I was still alive. I would come in and say "oh no! I'll die again today" Months after, it changed! Slowly but surely but it did. The workouts are still tough and hard but now I embrace it and rather than shying away and being scared I welcome it as a challenge to be conquered ! A challenge and how to beat my old self all the time actually believe that I can be both stronger mentally and improve myself physically. Thank you Moli for the journey I have endured so far, for making me realize more about myself than I thought possible. I'm excited to see what more I can do but please, pretty please don't use this as an excuse to make me pass out next time I see you! read more

This review is long overdue, but better late than never! I've been training at Molivate with David Quintero for almost two years and absolutely love it. My intent for first joining was to lose weight and get toned since trying to do it on my own wasn't working. I'm 5'0 ft tall, lost 15lbs and 10% body fat and maintained. On top of that, I gained confidence, strength, and knowledge. I changed my lifestyle where its possible to fit in working out 4-5 days a week, on top of my day job, and actually like eating clean. My husband (who trains with Moli) and I both trained here too while we were prepping for our wedding back last October. We are both in the best shape ever and continue to workout together and challenge each other. For anyone that wants to lose weight, get fit, or change their lifestyle - I highly recommend going here! All the trainers are passionate, friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Even the other clients at the gym make it worthwhile. read more

I had previously hired a personal trainer elsewhere and was not satisfied with my results, felt like I was getting nowhere. This led me to believe that hiring a personal trainer was pointless, until my cousin suggested I try Molivate! I have been training with George for a few months now and am completely satisfied! Where do I find the words to begin? I was at a spot in my life after having 2 kids (both c-section), where I just couldn't lose the weight or tone up my body and I was so ready for a change and to get my body back. I had tried diets, going to the gym on my own, but nothing seemed to work. It wasn't until one of my friends told me about Molivate. I contacted Moli at Molivate and I am SO happy I did. It was by far the BEST decision that I have ever made for myself. As soon as I entered the gym, he made me feel right at home. He was so positive and encouraging and that is what I needed! He made sure he knew the goals I wanted to achieve for myself and we got started right away. After a month, I have lost 7 pounds (now weighing 125), I am leaner, stronger, and my abs are making an appearance!! Moli is the perfect trainer! He supports you in the most positive, energizing, and encouraging way, but pushes you to do things you never thought you could. He is always there for you (literally, only a text away to answer a question, send you a positive note, etc). He is THE BEST!!! The whole team at Molivate is on your side, rooting for you! This is the best investment you can make for yourself. You will not be sorry! I am continuing my journey and I cannot wait to see what I look like after this month ends. I reached out to Moli over at molivate, he contacted me the same day and set me up with one of the trainers at his facility. I've been here for 3 weeks now and train with David, I have nothing to say but good things about David. He is a great trainer and answers any questions I have, he pushes me to the limits with the respect that my body is not quite used to the work outs because I haven't seen a gym in many years. I appreciate his patience and everything he has done and taught me in the short time I have been doing this. I feel great and look forward to many more sessions. January 2017 is when i decided i had to make a change with my helath. Being a father of 3, i was going in the direction to being a unfit and unhealthy father. Not something I wanted!! Going to the gym on my own got me to a certain point, but I needed something more then a gym. I found molivate gym and man it has been the best thing ever.... David Quintero is my personal trainer and has been nothing but the best. He has helped me accomplish fitness goals I've never thought I could reach .... went into molivate pushing 245lbs and probably about 20%B.F! With the help of David I'm down to 186lbs 11%B.F and in the best shape of my life . Not only has he helped me reach this goal but has also made it part of my familys lifestyle. I can't give these guys enough credit at what they do! They do it with passion and they are the real definition of personal training .... There are no amount of words or stars that could truly describe Molivate. This place and its trainers have become my family. I work in the health field and I have made my education, training and patients my priority for the last 12 years. This came at the expense of my health. During my medical residency training, I worked 80-100 hours a week; I did not have time to exercise and I just ate whatever I could whenever I could. After finishing school/training, I realized what this kind lifestyle did to me. I was unhappy and overweight. I knew I needed to make some changes. Moli and his team made this possible. When you first walk into Molivate, you can already tell that this place is HOME to so many people. Moli and his entire team (Di, Jess, Renato, George and Alex) are very knowledgeable and motivating. Moli Duy, the owner, is one of the most positive and energetic people I have ever met in my life. His energy is infectious and it overflows to those around him, making working out and reaching goals FUN. I have been training with Moli for the last few months. In this time, he has pushed me more than I have ever been pushed. In turn, I have met more goals than I have ever met before. He keeps me accountable and he does not allow me to quit on myself. I am the healthiest and smallest I have been since I was a child but more importantly, I am the strongest I have ever been in my life. In addition to having the most amazing trainer, I have also gained a wonderful friend. I've known Charlie the trainer here for a few years before I started training here. So far I've been here a month and everything has been great. The trainers are very friendly, energetic, and professional. It's a great place to train compared to the personal training you receive at corporate gyms, which btw is where I met Charlie. The founder Moli, is always here with a smile on, You can't miss him. Oh, and they are always changing the music, any requests ? Very flexible with financing your sessions and availability. Not only is he a skilled trainer but he is also an incredible person. He is patient, kind, knowledgeable, and extremely CARING. For the past few months, I have been training with Jessica. She has helped me loose weight and has helped me transform my body. She genuinely cares about her clients and really wants us to accomplish our goals. She will def challenge you and push you to your limits. Highly recommend Moli and his team if you want to get to your fitness goal. I never wanted or thought about getting a trainer before because I thought they were just out for your money and I've seen people get trainers and I didn't see any change in them. One day I ran into an old friend and he looked so good! I asked him what he did and he told me he started training with Moli so I started following Moli's Instagram and saw all the results people were getting. I decided to do it since I saw firsthand the changes my friend had and this was the best decision of my life!!!! I trained with Moli and he was awesome to say the least!!!! He truly cares for you and wants you to reach your goal. He pushes you to limits you thought you weren't capable of! Not only did I reach my goal I met lifelong friends there! After seeing all the transformations on social media and all the great reviews, I decided to check Molivate out amd it's a decision I do not regret. Going in, you can tell all the trainers are passionate about they they do and are there for you each step of the way. I trained with Renato and I can't recommend him enough. I was a little unsure and hesistant at first but he was very welcoming and always encouraging. Sure, I was felt sore and like I was dying after every session but he pushed me passed my limits every time. My physique and health has definitely improved and I'm feeling much better about myself than I have in a long time. Unfortunately, my company decided to relocate me so I wasn't able to stay on for as long as I would have hoped. If you're looking to change yourself in a warm and welcoming environment with plenty of support, Molivate is definitely the place to go. read more

Before training with Moli at his gym I had a trainer at a different gym who stood me up a couple times and I knew I needed to find a serious trainer because I really wanted to drop baby weight and get into good shape, Moli is very serious, he holds you accountable and pushes you like crazy! It's amazing though because your body becomes so strong and my energy level is great, I'm not a coffee drinker but after training with Moli it was like I had a caffeine boost on a regular which I need because I have 2 little ones...because he is teaching you a lifestyle I now want to eat healthy to not ruin my results and plan to eat right always...the occasional cookie won't hurt (don't tell Moli)..but you know what I mean read more

I had been in touch with one of the trainers for a few months and it was almost impossible to get a response. I understand that personal trainers get extremely busy and have many clients but a simple response would have been nice. Letting me know that there was no space for me at the moment would have been the professional thing to do, or they could have referred me to another trainer. EXTREMELY disappointed. Lost my motivation. Hope I find a good personal trainer elsewhere. read more

I got the opportunity to train with Moli back in March when I decided enough was enough and I needed to make a change in my life. My wedding was approaching fast and I wanted to look my best on that day. My starting weight at the time was 193. I finished strong with my cutting weight at 160.8! I honestly can say that if it weren't for moli's guidance and encouragement, I would not have been comfortable in my own skin on my wedding day. My journey at Molivate began in September 2018. I was alive but I wasn't living. I have been battling depression since June 2016. The man who I devoted the last 10 years of my life to gained his Angel wings and was called home to Heaven. As I dealt with the grief and began healing I decided that I needed to take control of my life and make it mine again. Who is Daisy without Michael? As mentioned, I devoted my life to him and completely lost sight of who I was as an individual. Michael loved and adored me and anyone who ever saw our dynamic would say that I truly was his everything, along with his daughter Brooklynn. So how do I recover from a love loss of that magnitude? Dig deep to your core and love yourself. It all started with a vision board, and one of the many things I listed was "be healthy" but how was I going to get there? I shopped around for trainers for months but wasn't comfortable working with any of them. I found Jessica Robledo through another member of the Molivate family and knew instantly that Jessica was going to be the trainer for me. I finally found the courage to contact Jessica, and at first both our schedules wouldn't align. People would tell me to find someone else but I was determined to train with this bad ass who I knew would get me to where I wanted to be. I was scared and intimidated when I first walked into Molivate but when I commit to something I go all in. So here I was face to face with Jessica, the first day of the rest of my life and I haven't looked back since. The last 8 months have been incredible and I am so grateful that I have been able to take this journey on at Molivate with Jessica as my trainer. People ask me all the time if it's worth it. You will get the same response from me every time. Fuck yes! It's more than just physical, what this has done for my mental and emotional health has been so amazing. It feels great to begin to feel my heart beat again, laugh obnoxiously, dance (okay so I need a little help there) and really take a deep breath and enjoy the life I'm living. My entire life has gone under and is still through a transformation and I am so glad to have made the choice to be a part of the Molivate family. Now let me tell you about Jessica Robledo. This woman holds me accountable and pushes me daily. She is a PERSONal Trainer. She sees me for the person that I am and the person who I am becoming. She has a big heart and such passion for her career and truly puts her clients first. She really lit a fire under my ass (it's getting big, thanks to her) and she keeps me motivated to keep pushing. She leads by example and continues to work on herself, and it's because of her drive, dedication and perseverance that I look up to her. Where should I begin. In this era of you pay and I get, the art of relationship building has been lost, but not with Moli. What an inspirational young man who is always willing to build you up and is a master of bringing out your personal best. He is not a trainer more of a life coach that is there to listen guide and encourage you in becoming someone you always wanted to be. At first I was hesitant to come work out here. I knew NOTHING about working out and felt so out of shape. I was worried that people would be judging me especially since it's a small gym. But I went anyway. The first time I walked in I received the warmest welcome from the trainers and clients. I thought to myself "Whoa..people actually say hello to each other here!" I met with Renato to discuss my goals and concerns. As soon as we were done talking about it he put me to work! My first day there was LEG DAY. I swear I thought this dude wanted to kill me...and I still do. In the middle of that very first workout I realized how weak and out of shape I really was. I actually considered calling an Uber to drive me to my car across the street! Ultimately, Renato knew exactly what needed to be strengthened first and helped me build strength and balance which then allowed me to feel more confident about getting results. His positive attitude is infectious. He is very supportive and recognizes the challenges we face in achieving our goals. Renato does a great job of assessing problem areas to target and corrects my form to avoid injury. While whipping me into better shape, we have entertaining conversations which makes the time bearable and less torturous. I highly recommend Molivate to anyone looking to achieve their fitness goals in a positive environment. All the trainers are amazing! Everyone there treats you like family. No judgement, no rudeness. This place is more than just training. Everyone is always lifting each other up. All the trainers are so inspiring as well as clients. The energy is amazing, and each and every trainer truly cares and has a passion for what they do. I've learned much more than how to lift weights and workout, I've learned a healthy lifestyle. Molivate is a great place to workout and I highly recommend it to anyone who has a hard time sticking to a fitness plan or motivating themselves to go to the gym. I've never really been the type to commit to a fitness plan, but I decided to look for a trainer that could help me get into shape. Hazel is really a fantastic trainer-- she's supportive and skilled and pushes me past what I think I can do. Right when I am about to give up, she is there to push me because she does believe that you can do more. I am in pain every time I leave but I love it because I have never been this strong. Actually, I've never looked forward to working out, until now. EVERYONE there is very supportive and friendly. I think this is what I love most about this place, the POSITIVE atmosphere. If you don't know anything about nutrition, weightlifting or cardio, Molivate is the place for you. Prior to Molivate, I struggled with weight loss, muscle strength and fatigue. I had reached rockbottom. Believing it just wasn't in my genetics to reach a physical prime, I was getting ready to accept that it was never going to happen for me. As I was getting ready to cancel my gym membership at LA Fitness, my girlfriend showed me the Molivate page she stumbled on Instagram's explore tab. I emailed Moli and told him about my situation. He got back to me promptly with all the information I needed to make a decision on who I wanted to train with. I ended up meeting with David at the Molivate gym, where we discussed a meal plan, goals, price and measurements. For a solid month, David made me train like I've never trained before. I had never weight lifted before in my life. The meal plan and the workouts were so effective that I lost 20 pounds in the first month. The same routine followed for the next couple of months. I'm 6'0 tall started at 240 pounds and 33% body fat. I left the gym a month ago weighing 192 pounds at 18% body fat. Today, I weigh 183 pounds at 14% body fat, and I'm not even thinking about stopping! I am so thankful for everything David has taught me. Not only is David one of the best personal trainers around, for he is also a friend and a mentor. All the personal trainers at Molivate are extremely passionate about what they do. They are there to help you reach your goals. Coming to Molivate has been one of the greatest decisions of my life. read more

I'm not sure how many character Yelp allows for reviews. Lol but here we go! Prior to even getting pregnant & giving birth, we knew of Moli and his team.. during pregnancy (2017), I was gaining weight I didn't expect to gain. Like most hormonal women, I was distraught. My ever so supportive husband reached out to Moli, and thus our journey began. While breastfeeding and being 5 months post partum.. October 2018, I officially signed up with Renato at Molivate! After my first session, I couldn't even sit on the toilet. I prayed so hard the next day that the baby wouldn't be fussy, because there was no way I could rock him lol ... my journey was suppose to last until Dec (best friend's wedding). During that wedding, everyone raved at how fast I lost the baby weight, etc etc. I rocked an off the shoulder black dress with high slits. Yes, feeling myself. lol I had lost 15-20 lbs at that point. I continued for the next few months. Ending at almost a year training with Renato! Thank you for giving me the motivation during and off training sessions. Renato was easy to get a hold of thru text or IG and didn't stop pushing just because I'd lost an overall 40 lbs! He would push me just as hard. Just when you thought you're ready to come train, these guys think of new ways to push you out of your comfort zone. Definitely worth the investment. I'm probably in the best shape of my life. I have been training with Moli for quite some time now, and I must say there is no one out there like him. Moli invests his time in you and is very passionate about what he does. I returned to Molivate over a month ago from a brief leave cuz life happened, and just in this past month I was reminded why I needed to come back. Not only have I dropped body fat, I feel more confident, healthier and more importantly Happy! Moli is a great trainer and becomes a great friend to all his clients, he definitely pushes you to be the best you, and guides you along the way, and checks in with you to make sure you're on track. My experience at Molivate was nothing short of amazing. The energy here is welcoming and all the trainers have something unique to offer through their awesome personalities. Hazel is excellent, and I miss her since she's moved! She has a holistic, hard work no game, and nurturing approach! During my time training with Hazel I was able to lose the 25lbs of weight I had been struggling for 2 years to get off! She inspired me to honor the process and enjoy every single moment of the journey for my growth. Don't get me wrong this was not all daisies and butterflies lol. You see the end results on IG but you don't see all the pain and sacrifice that comes with it. Once you do decide to come here just know you will have to work hard, but it's a fun and easy going environment. Do the work, don't cheat often because it'll just take you that much longer to get to your goal. I thank the Molivate team for helping me be my best self. My only thing that I couldn't understand was when I tried to reach out a couple times to start coming in to see a trainer again, I wasn't getting a full response to schedule time with a specific trainer. I wasn't sure why this was, but it caused confusion on my end. All in all I still love Molivate and would recommend anyone to come here. read more

Moli.. The best trainer I have ever had, seriously. He pushes you, motivates you, and works with you; your schedule, lifestyle, routines, everything. My body has changed and my life has changed thanks to Moli, and his gym. I drive an hour every day to get to his gym.. and I'm fine with it because it's always worth it. The thing that has really done it for me is the drastic changes I have seen in his clients, I have seen it and it's wonderful. Moms, singers, executives, teenagers, nurses, all ages and all walks of life.. he's transformed their bodies - with a positive attitude and lots of good energy!! I cannot say enough good things about Moli, Molivate Gym and becoming a part of Team Molivate! I began training with Moli last July and was instantly welcomed into the family! And they truly are a family! Moli and his team are the most positive, knowledgeable and hard working group of trainers I have ever met. Moli met with me, helped me set goals and together I reached and succeeded them! I admit that I didn't have a lot of body weight to lose, but I did have body fat and wanted to get lean and strong. Following Moli's customized plan made this possible! I am an elementary principal and mom of two young kids and with Moli's guidance, support and wisdom, I was able to become stronger and more fit than I've ever been!! His gym is 19 miles from my house and I had to take the dreaded 91 freeway to get there but I'll tell you that it was worth every minute and mile on the freeway!! I started training with Moli about a year ago I trained with him for a bout 6 months, in those 6 months time I was able to accomplish what I have been trying to achieve for years. He definitely opened my eyes to the possibilities. I lost weight but also gain a good amount of strength. Definitely one of the best investments I've made in my life. That's why I'm back this time for the long haul. If you're looking for a trainer to kick you into high gear and "molivate" you then look no further. He's got different trainers with the same principle which is bringing out the best in all their clients. Once you step through the doors it's obvious that this place means business. Therefore, my frustration was that I would do a lot of cardio, such as spinning classes, but I wouldn't see any difference in my body. Training with Roger taught me the importance of balance in a workout routine. This included cardio but pairing it up with weights and core exercises to round out my workout routine. Lack of confidence was a big issue with me where I was worried that I would be judged because I didn't know how to work out correctly. Roger is a great trainer in that he was able to show me how to improve my posture when working out without feeling like I am being judged. Roger's personality is personable, patient, and easy going. He is a professional and it is evident that he has mastered his craft and enjoys training his clients. He does a great job in pushing clients to achieve more in each session but also knows when to pull back by remaining engaged on how the client feels on the day. In the event someone is debating whether or not to work with him, I would encourage them to sign up with Roger. I would explain my hesitation in the beginning, where I was worried whether I would be judged or if I would even learn the routines to see results. Personally, those fears were put to rest from the first session, and I have certainly learned a lot about working out, gained confidence, and have seen the results.

Parking: Near the gym, there is a free parking lot on 5th and Pine that offers two-hour parking for free. Considering a session lasts about 45 minutes to an hour, parking is never a problem, and the parking lot is usually empty. Gym: The gym is called Self Made and it is located in downtown Long Beach. After two years, I have just finished training with Renato at Molivate. My husband also finished training with him after more than one year. To say that the experience was life-changing would be a huge understatement. You are welcomed by everyone, both trainers and trainees, from the moment you walk through the door, the fitness community that they have built has been incredible. Each workout has pushed me far beyond what I thought my limits were, always varying in skill and intensity, and being tailored to my needs. Renato was always in tune with my energy levels for the day, knowing when to push me harder and when to back down because I was struggling too much. The honest feedback during my monthly evaluations and throughout each of my sessions has given me so much knowledge and confidence that I will be able to carry with me as I continue my fitness journey. The first time I trained with Moli was back in 2013. I was a scrawny guy with very little strength and definitely no muscle. In 3 short months, I was packing....a 6 pack! I was a lean mean muscle machine. Moli was not only my physical trainer, but he was also a life coach, always motivating me to do my absolute best in and outside the gym. Life eventually got in the way (aka a relationship, a move to another city and beer) and I unfortunately strayed. Life happens and no one is perfect (well...Moli is pretty much close to perfect. He's bad ass). Well I'm proud to say, I'm back training with him at his kick-ass gym in Strong Beach! I've lost -23 lbs in the last 4 months and on the path to a 6 pack. However, work has gotten in the way recently and I've been slacking a bit. Client dinners/drinks and some good ol' fashion laziness steered me away from reaching my goals. But course Moli stepped in and saved the day! He's not in it for the money. He's in it to see you succeed. I've always wanted to get fit but always found myself getting lazy and not even truly knowing how to navigate a gym. Renato (my trainer) and Moli (the owner) completely changed my perspective on working out and staying healthy. Renato is incredibly knowledgeable, motivational and, over all, an awesome trainer.
