At every point in the removal, cleanup, and reconstruction of our hallway wall - due to a slow leaking pipe which drained under our floor tiles - we were treated to professionalism and the highest of standards. An initial consult with managing partner and COO Zach Galajyan, constant communication with our project manager Andy Santrosyan, and three specialized crews put our entranceway back together, taking into consideration our work schedules and treating our home with the utmost respect throughout the entire process. The first crew removed one side of the wall (leaving the other side untouched so we wouldn't have to remove a large set of kitchen cabinetry). They inspected the area, tented it off for minimal impact to us and the rest of our house, treated the insides for possible mold growth, and left an industrial fan to dry out the area completely. They even arranged for a service to test the air for mold spores after the section was completely dry. After the area passed inspection, the tent was removed, and a second crew came to match and install a new wall section with wood paneling and trim. Finally, we had a three-man painter crew who sanded, sealed and finished the paneling before repainting it, the walls above, and the ceiling (three different colors). All three crews were well staffed and experts in their field. They took their time and did the project to a standard even better than the original wall. He is very professional, personable, and experienced. Advanced Restoration & Construction were available during every step of the mitigation process. Tal came out daily to take new moisture readings and adjust the blower and dehumidifier setup. They patiently listened to and answered all of my questions. All areas are now dry and ready for repair. Based on my experience with them, I highly recommend Advanced Restoration & Construction! The company also helped me deal with my Progressive home insurance. Tal's office assisted me in communicating with them, filling out all the required forms and documents, and ensuring everything was handled smoothly. Daniel and his team on the other hand.... They did everything! Daniel was so friendly and chill and seemed to know exactly what the problems were and even pointed out other problems as they went through our repair job that were helpful for preventing further damage and such. When work started, they put up plastic to isolate the problem room and cover furniture that couldn't be moved, took out all effected materials, and Daniel's guys even went to source some floor boards they had to remove due to damage which was something we were having a hard time doing ourselves. It was so appreciated on our part because he went out of his way. Real stand up guy! They patched everything up and it looks good as new and no moldy smell even a month later! When we first got a quote we balked at the price... everything is so expensive now and we weren't sure what to do, but it had to be repaired... so it was worth the price to have the convenience of the team who took out our walls and floors and such to be the ones who put it back. We trusted them because we trusted our insurance we've used for over 40 years. They took advantage of us by overcharging our insurance company. By the time we received the bill from them we learned we were short in our coverage to pay the contractors to do the repairs. They sat on the bill for weeks before submitting it to the insurance adjuster, who then stated it was way out of line in the charges. Then it went through another two weeks to negotiate down in compliance, and they still didn't budge. But that's not all. The day they arrived, it took the crew just 1 day (8 hours) to remove the the damages and debris and the cleaning, leaving behind dust and debris everywhere. They didn't seal off the main room to be restored, so dust went all over my home. Items that could not be removed from my garage were supposedly covered properly so that debris could not get underneath. Not so - everything is covered in dust and debris. The treatment we received was down right disrespectful!!! Shame on them and we hope they loose a lot of business. We're retired, over the ages of 70, on a fixed income, and we got screwed.
