They thoroughly documented the situation, took photos, and clearly explained what to expect with our insurance claim--something that was incredibly helpful during a stressful time. After confirming there was no remaining moisture in the ceiling cavity or surrounding areas, they went above and beyond by returning to cover the ceiling. Tal's office assisted me in communicating with them, filling out all the required forms and documents, and ensuring everything was handled smoothly. We trusted them because we trusted our insurance we've used for over 40 years. They took advantage of us by overcharging our insurance company. By the time we received the bill from them we learned we were short in our coverage to pay the contractors to do the repairs. They sat on the bill for weeks before submitting it to the insurance adjuster, who then stated it was way out of line in the charges. Then it went through another two weeks to negotiate down in compliance, and they still didn't budge. But that's not all. The day they arrived, it took the crew just 1 day (8 hours) to remove the the damages and debris and the cleaning, leaving behind dust and debris everywhere. They didn't seal off the main room to be restored, so dust went all over my home. Items that could not be removed from my garage were supposedly covered properly so that debris could not get underneath. Not so - everything is covered in dust and debris. The treatment we received was down right disrespectful!!! Shame on them and we hope they loose a lot of business. We're retired, over the ages of 70, on a fixed income, and we got screwed. Global warming, and the larger volumes of rain coming down all at once create standing water or water that can seep into cracks near properties..... going to make a lot more work for C3. I had called a bunch of other companies and they were a total nightmare to deal with and their estimates were 6x what Nathan charged. Not only were they horrible companies but they lied to my tenant when they gave the estimate which sent her into a tailspin. I highly recommend this company. They are honest and fair, and got the job done within a week or two of my initial phone call. Also I read the fine print t in the contract so I knew that they don't repair damages caused by tape on walls floor etc. my apartment has painted floors so I sort of expected tape would pull up paint. His remediation team came within an hour, and stayed into the evening to clean up sewage water, set up fans for drying, mop floors and assess damage. The second day the drain backed up again. C3 showed up to clean up the water all over again. They were able to assess the damage to the tile and laminate floors, bring in a licensed electrician to assess the water sitting in raceways under floor outlets, check for mold and do damage control throughout the lobby, laundry and community room. C3 connected our association with another team of excellent sub contractors; electricians, cement technicians, flooring experts and cabinetry installers. Nathan's ability to work with our insurance adjuster every step of the way ensured that our extensive claims were covered and paid quickly. His billing system matches up with today's insurance standards. This was invaluable to the HOA and residents. There was never a time when we did not have full access to Nathan with any issue that arose. His communcation with daily schedules and workflow was excellent. Casa California highly recommends Nathan and his team for remediation and/or general contractor work.
