Luckily El Vaquero sells only elotes and churros, and since they're a food truck, they're available on-the-go! We found El Vaquero parked on Far East Zaragoza, when after a delicious dinner at Don Carbon we detected a faint churros aroma in the air, and then we saw El Vaquero with a giant sign that said "Churros," we had to investigate... Not only are the churros all warm and fresh, but they also have lots of filling flavors, I didn't even know a strawberry-filled churro could even exist, but it does and El Vaquero has it. We got a strawberry and a cajeta churro, both were delicious, and only $2 each! We haven't tried the elotes yet, but definitely next time, they looked very good. The lesson here is: Always stop for trucks that have signs saying "Churros."

They have butcher shop for those looking for fresh meat. Chaviras has a great selection of fresh Mexican pastries, fresh produce and a selection of frozen food options and canned goods. My wife and I picked up a couple of bean and cheese burritos to take home. I just wish that they didn't use LARD on their beans, as we do not eat pork. As an observation, Chavira is a Spanish family name.
