Luckily El Vaquero sells only elotes and churros, and since they're a food truck, they're available on-the-go! We found El Vaquero parked on Far East Zaragoza, when after a delicious dinner at Don Carbon we detected a faint churros aroma in the air, and then we saw El Vaquero with a giant sign that said "Churros," we had to investigate... Not only are the churros all warm and fresh, but they also have lots of filling flavors, I didn't even know a strawberry-filled churro could even exist, but it does and El Vaquero has it. We got a strawberry and a cajeta churro, both were delicious, and only $2 each! We haven't tried the elotes yet, but definitely next time, they looked very good. The lesson here is: Always stop for trucks that have signs saying "Churros."

We called their # about 5/6 times but never answered, by the last 2/3 calls they let the call ring once and then send to voicemail. We placed the order around 4:30 or 4:40 and they accepted the order and have us the process and was saying that our order was being prepared. How disappointing!! We didn't get to eat what we were craving and hoping to have, and their customer service by far the worst by ignoring their patrons! Shortly after everything, we noticed that every application they're under, has different times of operation, so not a very good business... rest assured we will not be ordering from that place ever again... sad, because we love pupusas..

Why…read more.. I'm gonna give them 3 stars only because the El Pastor tacos were bomb... I ordered from this place 2 times because it's been awhile since I've had Mexican food. The first night I ordered the Pastor tacos and this Hot Dog (forgot the name of it but the one with avocado) I will post the picture of how my tacos arrived... dry with barely any meat on them. I also paid the extra .50 cents for extra habanera salsa and I only received 1... will not be ordering from them again.
