I'm a HUGE lover of soul food/fried . Overall, a really great experience, the food was great but the family feel and nice staff stood out to me. It's definitely one of those places you can visit and they will get to know you I got the 4 piece wing that came with two sides. The chicken was super light and airy, but had tons of flavor. I hate when fried chicken is bland, and this definitely was not. The chicken and breading both had a really great taste the greens were perfect. She uses turkey meat to enhance the flavor, and I couldn't stop eating them. the Mac and cheese almost took me out. I love love love baked Mac and cheese, and this one was perfect. Almost a sponge like texture but still creamy and cheesy! Def tops my list of Mac and cheeses I've had. finished it off with some cornbread. Dry cornbread is the worst, or when it's too flaky. This was the perfect medium between moist, but also held its shape. Everything is made from scratch, so depending on when you arrive it could take a little to get your food. I personally didn't mind since I got the taste the chicken right out of the fryer I'll def be coming back as they serve breakfast all day, and the chicken and waffles are calling my name if you're looking for soul food or a diner experience, def add this one to the top of your list.

My arrangement that I paid a lot of money for had white roses, Lily, and iris. None of which where in this arrangement. The website page is what I ordered and the other picture with the carnations is what was sent. This is beyond poor business. I do not recommend this florist. What they called my mother they gave her attitude. She was only the recipient of the flowers. Not the purchaser. So on top of the not getting what I paid for we got rudeness also. And people wonder why amazon is putting people out of business. Perfect example right here.

The bouquet of flowers I picked up was nothing like the one I ordered. The guy seemed like he had rushed and put stuff together quickly before me picking it up, since I had called him letting him know I was on my way to get them. This is just sad. I hope these people realize that by them not doing their job right, it is a very disappointing experience. I hope they get their act straight.

About my preferences, after I said our budget, etc. it was so strange. It's fine to have a bubbly personality but this was off putting. Honestly one of the most unprofessional, ill informed customer client interactions. I felt like there were a lot of things not aligning for what I'd expect a professional caterer to know. She didn't even send a quote after our phone call. So while we wouldn't have gone with Zesty Gourmet anyway, the business doesn't seem to care much for clients anyway. I'm not going to remind a company that I want to pay thousands of dollars to them. Honestly just an entirely confusing, strange, and off putting experience end-to-end.
