Time to give Toasted some additional yelp love! Staff is always very friendly. Pretty quick service. Sandwhiches are a generous size. Scratch made chips. Casual atmoshere, it can get loud when it's busy. Relatively small menu, with rotating specials. Full bar. Large parking lot. Outdoor seating area too. They started as a food truck and now have the brick and motor location. One concern I have, I'd like to see them shift some things from "foodtruck mode" to restaurant like having real flatware instead of plastic and no more ketchup packs. All their food is very tasty and prepared well. Service is friendly and there's plenty of parking in their private lot. The environment is comfortable especially now that they updated the chairs at all the tables. There's a full bar and a nice patio if you like hanging out outside in the spring and summer months. I'm not sure I can eat here too often as most of the menu is fried or flat top grilled. They do have a salad and a soup on the menu so there is a healthier option as well. read more

OMGoodness! It was tasty at Toasted! We did make the mistake of getting the "family order" of tater-tots! Waaaay toooo much for just my wife and I. But let's be positive--they were generous with the portion size. Appreciated. Then our gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches--cooked to perfection. The 3-Alarm and The Art of the Dill. I so regret not taking a picture of the meals. Bottom line--check them out!!! What a great road side stop too if just passing through. But us locals (we are Winchester) but still, local enough. Us locals should shower down on this little restaurant. Our Server was fantastic. Very attentive and kind! Warm smile too. The atmosphere is "ok" ... seems to still be coming together. But SO MUCH POTENTIAL over time. The garage doors nice. I really see Toasted becoming very much a favorite eats of the local community. Toasted has been a go to food truck that we would go to whenever we are at a local even like the Jefferson County Fair. When they opened a location up the street from us we got excited. We did want to try the spaghetti grilled cheese but it wasn't available that day. We did try the loaded tots as an app and I tried the Hot Hen which was basically buffalo chicken grilled cheese $15. My wife tried the OG $7. And my daughter tried the Country Roads $11. And my youngest tried the Toasted Dog $10. Everything in general was amazing. It was all hot and fresh. Although it did take awhile to get the food and the dining area wasn't very family friendly. The Hot Hen was the hit and everyone stile my food. The Toasted Dog was very good for a hotdog. My youngest loved it and the sauce was the best part. The service was attentive but like I mentioned getting the food was on the slower side but it was made to order. Kids got a little cranky. This restaurant has a really cool vibe and super nice staff, and service is really quick. I really liked my sandwich and they even serve Black Dog Coffee ($3 for unlimited!!!). Currently sitting here with my family for my now five year old's birthday. The food is amazing. Know you're coming to a place that does high end grilled cheese sandwiches, and damn they do it well. Lunch was delicious. I may need a cardiology consult but well worth it! The staff are all super friendly and greeted us when we walked in the door. The GPS sent me straight by it and I didn't even notice it across the street from the amusement business. A quick phone call got be back on track. I wanted local eats while waiting for my husband at the Va Hospital in Martinsburg. Was kindly greeted upon arrival. Waitress suggested the exact sandwich I was thinking about and it did Not disappoint! Love a sandwich will dill pickles and putting it with melted cheese and bacon is spot on! Next visit I may try it with the sourdough vs the sweet bread but it was good. The tater-tot serving was generous and they came out crispy and hot! Wish I hadn't been driving as their drink menu looked epic! Will definitely return here on my next chaperoning visit to the VA or the next time I pass by on 81!!! read more

Everything was great! It was our first time at the restaurant and we will be back. Highly recommend the "Dirty Fries". Also my "Art of the Dill" was on point. I'm not sure where to begin. But we were blown away. I did not have very high hopes even though I've heard nothing but good things. The Mac n cheese bites FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. The table was sticky, all of there plates and utensils were plastic, they served eggs and other food on a plastic plate with wax paper on it so you were scooping up wax paper with your eggs. I had to take creamer and sugar from another table because there was none on ours. They forgot a portion of my food until I asked about where it was. For two meals and a coffee it was $35, which seems a bit much for bacon and eggs. We could barely hear each other over the fryer and music. read more

okay got to check out Toasted for a do over. once again the grilled cheese was good. i had the country roads(diced pepperoni/garlic/mozzarella).spot on. my wife had the art of the dill(pickles/bacon/mozzarella) also spot on. this time the fries were great. also they have a "toasted sauce" they use on the 5 alarm sandwich that we dipped our fries in.it was great. just a one off last time with bad fries. definitely will be checking them out again. keep up the good food!! read more
