Mocha Frappuccino
Mallori B.

Very good and fast. We had 4 orders and were in and out in under 10 minutes! Pineapple smoothie is refreshing and perfectly sweet. The waffle ice cream is really good. She said the Hong Kong is sweeter and white than the Vietnamese which is green. I had the bacon egg waffle for breakfast and it was wonderful! Light but filling with just enough sweetness that you don't need syrup or anything.

Had my first visit today and it was great. The customer service is wonderful. With it being my first time the cashier took the added time to explain the different features of the menu to me. The mocha Frappuccino is really smooth with no large chunks of ice which is nice. And the waffle bacon and cheese was wonderful. A tad bit high priced, but compared to Starbucks the customer service is much better and the food was better to boot!

Been here a couple times now, small little coffee shop by an old church in Taylor. It's got plenty…read moreof parking around it and is also connected to a tiny hotel! I really love their iced dulce de leche latte, they also have a variety of other season flavors. There also some small pastries available as well. Indoor and outing seating and staff is nice. 10/10 recommend!

Good Coffee For All People!…read more Family owned and operated fresh roasted coffee! We've had their coffee, freshly brewed and buying a few bags of beans, for a few years now at Taylor markets and we are so happy to see them create a beautiful physical location. I got a Dillo (Armadillo) latte and it was sweet and layered with flavor. We learned that their signature Armadillo milk is their take on a tres leches sweet cream with a 3-milk mixture like in the cake. They had a small glass box of delicious looking pastry options. The location is near downtown and has lots of close street parking and parking spots across the street from empty buildings. The morning light that streams in is just gorgeous with the warm neutral accents of the inside. There are quite a few tables as well as some barstool seating on the main counter. If you'd rather enjoy the fresh air there are a few tables outside the shop in the shade. They have an area for merch so if you enjoyed your drink consider taking home a bag of their roasts for home! In this area they also have some non-coffee options and kid options. There is a large, clean single stall bathroom and free Wi-Fi. Check out their Instagram for updates on deals, brews, and their journey.

A must stop if you are traveling between Houston and Austin on Hwy 71. I'm usually a Bucees guy,…read morebut this place specializes in something that the beaver doesn't. Kolaches! Arguably one of the greatest foods ever invented. Atleast in my world. How can you go wrong with bread filled with sweet or savory fillings? Hruska's is about halfway between Houston and Austin and a perfect rest stop to fill up on gas, use the clean facilities, grab a snack or indulge in their amazing baked goods. They are steeped in history and have been around for decades passing along the family recipes. It's obviously improved structurally over the years from a country store and looks like a modern gas station now. It's always pretty busy every time I have stopped in, but they are a well oiled machine and keep the masses moving with excellent customer service. They have all your gas station essentials like snacks and beverages. What sets them apart is their bakery. Here, they label their kolaches as the traditional fruit filled variety. I like them, but they are never my first choice. I love the ones with meat inside. Here, they label these as pigs in a blanket. They have a large variety of both. I usually go for a regular sausage and cheese, but over here, they sell a delicious pan sausage kind. On top of all their sweet and savory baked goods, they also sell burgers on the grill. Their burgers have made it to the Texas Monthly Top 50 burger spots. I have yet to try it. Overall, this is an always stop place for me. I highly recommend stopping here to stretch your legs and enjoy a delicious pastry while you're at it. I will definitely be back.

Gas prices were reasonable for being directly off 71 and service was friendly. Plenty of snacking choices with a local bakery with signature kolaches and Danish. Worth a look !!
