They recently added one of those cool library vending machines, and I love that touch--it makes the park feel even more welcoming and community-focused. The playground is great, the baseball fields are well-kept, and it's the perfect place to walk, relax, or hang out with family. It's definitely my favorite park in the area. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add a trash can and hand dryers inside the restroom. Other than that, I just hope people continue to take care of it--it's such a beautiful space and it deserves to stay that way!

Playground: There is a pretty big playground for kids here, complete with slides, swings, ramps, playhouse -- the whole shebang. The ground is covered with wood chips, not sand, so that's nice. Pool: There's a pool area, with a big pool and a pool for little ones. Directly outside the pool is a cluster of picnic benches. Baseball field: The neat thing about this baseball field is that it's near a block of trees and grass, so you could watch the game while staying out of the hot sun. Snack bar: pretty self-explanatory. It's not open all the time -- only for baseball games and other special events. Tennis courts: The courts are lighted so you can beat the heat and play at night! Apparently, there's also a dog park and skate plaza here somewhere, but I haven't come across either one. That doesn't mean they don't exist, it just means I need to look harder next time I visit!

There's at least two lakes that I've seen and numerous hiking trails several of which I've enjoyed. Some people like to fish, I'm not sure which type of fish are in the waters. There's also horse trails and bike trails. Most of the trails are accessible whether you have a motorized scooter, cane, or wheelchair, you can enjoy the nature trails. There's a variety of different wildlife and birds. A great place to bird watch. There's cows nearby. I love cows! There's clean restrooms, but they never have soap. There's overnight camping available and space to keep horses, not sure if it's for overnight horse lodging. I'm grateful for the Regional Park card they offer to veterans. That's a huge benefit and I appreciate it. I recently discovered the Celeste De Blasis Memorial Garden which was so beautiful it made me emotional. It's nice to see things like that in this area. This is a beautiful park and one of my favorite parks to visit. It's open daily from 7:30 am to 7pm.

There is a fee per day/per car ($15 as of this writing), so plan accordingly. While I didn't camp, I did see some stunning campsites right next to the water and in beautiful condition. Lots of great hiking spots, lots of folks fishing and overall a wonderful atmosphere. There's even a Frisbee golf course. Very clean and well-maintained. Parking is included in the entrance fee. There's one playground aimed for children 5-12. There's no toddler area or swings. It's very serene. Lots of nice grass and trees. It makes you want to take a nap. The playground is shaded. My son had to use the restroom but we couldn't find any. We went inside the gym but there was a basketball game going on so we just went home. Nice park though.

I was honestly surprised there were no restrooms. At this point she had already went in her pants and extremely embarrassed about it (being 8) I'm so disappointed there were no restrooms. Anyone bringing their family to a park Wouldn't even in my opinion second-guess a restroom not being available at a park facility. We will never be back at this park and never recommend this park to anyone.
