They recently added one of those cool library vending machines, and I love that touch--it makes the park feel even more welcoming and community-focused. The playground is great, the baseball fields are well-kept, and it's the perfect place to walk, relax, or hang out with family. It's definitely my favorite park in the area. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add a trash can and hand dryers inside the restroom. Other than that, I just hope people continue to take care of it--it's such a beautiful space and it deserves to stay that way!

The playground itself isn't huge which I honestly love, you can sit anywhere and have your eyes on your kids. When I went there was around 4-5 other kids and it was still enough space for everyone to do their own thing. I walked around with my kids and checked everything out and it was very clean, even the bathroom. It's also very safe, the front desk guy opened and closed the gate as we walked to the car to grab a water and went back. They also sell water, juice and little snacks. The price is also veryyyyyy reasonable. Definitely will be back and I'm so glad I found this hidden gem.

Playground: There is a pretty big playground for kids here, complete with slides, swings, ramps, playhouse -- the whole shebang. The ground is covered with wood chips, not sand, so that's nice. Pool: There's a pool area, with a big pool and a pool for little ones. Directly outside the pool is a cluster of picnic benches. Baseball field: The neat thing about this baseball field is that it's near a block of trees and grass, so you could watch the game while staying out of the hot sun. Snack bar: pretty self-explanatory. It's not open all the time -- only for baseball games and other special events. Tennis courts: The courts are lighted so you can beat the heat and play at night! Apparently, there's also a dog park and skate plaza here somewhere, but I haven't come across either one. That doesn't mean they don't exist, it just means I need to look harder next time I visit!

There's a lot of benches and tables for the parents to watch their kids nearby. One thing I will say, the park is super popular and it was very packed. All the kids we encountered were so sweet and kind towards each other. It was really nice seeing everyone get along and playing together. There's an office, a baseball field and bathrooms. There's also an indoor pool but it was currently closed. Very nice park.

There's at least two lakes that I've seen and numerous hiking trails several of which I've enjoyed. Some people like to fish, I'm not sure which type of fish are in the waters. There's also horse trails and bike trails. Most of the trails are accessible whether you have a motorized scooter, cane, or wheelchair, you can enjoy the nature trails. There's a variety of different wildlife and birds. A great place to bird watch. There's cows nearby. I love cows! There's clean restrooms, but they never have soap. There's overnight camping available and space to keep horses, not sure if it's for overnight horse lodging. I'm grateful for the Regional Park card they offer to veterans. That's a huge benefit and I appreciate it. I recently discovered the Celeste De Blasis Memorial Garden which was so beautiful it made me emotional. It's nice to see things like that in this area.
