Yummy!!! I love Italian ice and there aren't really any places close to me that serve it. I already miss the gelati... need them to open one in my city asap.

Superb service, pricing, and flavors! Highly recommend. Small little place with big personality! A must stop!

Consistently phenomenal. As a local I've had the opportunity to come to Mojave Freeze regularly. The owner and staff are always kind, the shop is so cute and has awesome items for sale, and their ice cream is out of this world. I am absolutely addicted to the caramel crunch sundae.

Toppings bottom is Italian Ice flavors a couple anyways

Mojave Freeze is located in a tiny shop across from Vons in Yucca Valley. This was really good ice cream. Yucca Valley definitely needed something like this for a long time. We love supporting the local establishments. The flavors I tried were very good and plentiful of the bits and pieces of chocolate and berries . The employee did not catch his name had quite the line today around 3 on a Sunday and was working his butt off. He was very friendly even as the line grew and grew to where it was almost out the door. I can definitely see this place being packed with longer lines in the warmer months. Can't wait to try more flavors in the future. Definitely stop and give them a try!

I went here on opening day and loved the flavors they serve! The shop itself is very clean and has a fun aesthetic. The workers were very kind and helped me pick a flavor! I definitely want to come back and try more of their original desserts!

Such a wonderful addition to the community! Staff is always so friendly and even remembers our order. Definitely the spot to go!

    Italian Ice & Ice cream

Sooo yummy! I loved my italian ice, they do different flavors of the day. The sour apple and blue razz was too good. We loved our cookie dough chocolate chip ice cream. Service was very friendly. Prices were also great.

    Upside down banana split

Came into this place today and we were helped by Nevaeh this woman was the sweetest person I have ever met she was so kind and her personality was full of bubble gum and rainbows it seemed like she was absolutely a delight to converse eight with she let us try the ice cream that we wanted to of course they were absolutely phenomenal but not as great as this banana split that is hands-down the best one I've ever had mad props to Mojave freeze for opening such a cute ice cream shop and perfect time for summer coming up and with Rite Aid being gone Sidenote their advertisement board is pretty cool

Such a vibe; incredible selection; Ice cream was top notch. If you like sweet treats and nice places, definitely check it out. Can't recommend enough.

    Campfire Caviar Sundae

One of the best ice cream shops I've ever been to! My sundae was so good, we went back the next day. The menu has a lot of variety, scoops, soft serve, cold brew floats, vintage soda floats, Italian ice, and great sundaes. From a classic banana split to more unique creations. Service is amazing and the ice cream is even better.

    Upside down banana split.

The soft serve is so good, the strawberry and pineapple topping was great with it and the guy was super nice! We got the upside down banana split. Definitely coming back for the gelati

The place immediately caught our eye. The front window shows a giant teddy bear and the inside is bright, modern, and so well organized that we just had to walk in. Right when you enter there is an entire wall of cotton candy which is my personal favorite. Beyond that there are rows of pastries and macarons, imported sodas and specialty drinks, plus big sections of taffy, jellies, and candies from all over the world. It honestly felt like a candy wonderland. We filled a bag with a mix of everything to celebrate our anniversary weekend and enjoyed it over the next couple of days. Every piece we tried was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the store was spotless and beautifully designed. Whoever put the space together clearly cared about every detail because it draws you in the moment you see it. If you have a sweet tooth or just want a fun treat while visiting Palm Springs this is a perfect stop. We left completely happy and will definitely come back next time we are in town.

The candy is old and definitely not fresh, the date shakes were meh at best (tragic, considering where it's located) and a cashier that seems as happy to be here are the stale candy and outdated decor. Definitely a "will not return" and that's a shame.

Now we could've gone to Great Shakes (review: https://yelp.to/mzOC66QAth), but there was a line and we just had no patience. So we walked over to this place because only a handful of people were in here. It wasn't a shake shack but a sweets shop, an old-fashioned, family-run operation. There was just one woman behind the counter, and she was busily handling orders for chocolates and candied apples. We waited our turn and ordered a couple of the $7.99 Date Shakes (Photo 9). They were fine, even without the mini-donuts Great Shakes serves with theirs. I need to give her credit for making it from scratch without any help from the rest of the family. It was advertised to me by a friend, as it was an essential stop for them and their family during road trips. First off, I heard it used to be an actual stand, but has since moved to a large storefront with high ceilings and the whole nine yards. They're known for their dry goods as well as the date shake. On this particular day, I came for the date shakes. We got one regular and one banana. I don't really know what I was expecting from a random fruit-stand-turned-store in the middle of nowhere, but I'll say I was quite pleasantly surprised. The date shake was, pretty much exactly as advertised. It was a milkshake with dates. It was a nice shake: better than most milkshakes, I'd say. It tasted more...natural? But I'm unsure if the fact that 'date' was in the name had anything to do with it. The banana variant, however, was even better. I liked the kind of texture that the banana adds, and I would get it over the original date shake pretty much every single time. One thing is that it IS a tad expensive, but what isn't nowadays?

Located next to the JT visitor center west entrance and about 5 miles from the park entrance. We arrived to this small local place just as they were opening at 7:30 am and they had breakfast sandwiches being made, mostly with bacon, egg and cheese but they'll make you sausage or other variation as well. They also have a good selection of other breakfast items like hard boiled eggs, cheese, fruits, yogurt parfait, salad and deli lunch sandwiches. Additionally they sell various hot and cold drinks, organic JT coffee beans that they'll grind for you, salty and sweet snacks, California dates and roadrunner t-shirts. Every time, the folks behind the counter don't really say hello or greet (most) customers. With me they usually just kind of stare. I realize not everyone communicates in the same way. During a recent visit, the cashier didn't even finish my transaction before going back to what they were doing for the customer in front of me (who the cashier seemed to know). Again, no communication. Now, I don't need to have a full conversation with every person on staff. But the overall customer service isn't inviting or very present here. Not for everyone, anyway.
