I look for natural fabrics like 100% cotton and linen, pieces that breathe, pieces that feel good on your skin and don't come with all the hidden downsides. And this store delivers on that. There are racks of thoughtfully curated items that feel both current and wearable, coming from new designers who are clearly paying attention. It's not just clothing. It's a point of view. And what makes it even better is the space itself. There's a matcha spot and a small food area tucked into the back where you can sit, slow down, and just enjoy being there. It turns a shopping trip into something more like an experience. This is a genuinely great addition to Palm Springs. The kind of place that gives the city a little more edge, a little more relevance. Tucked away in this little building is an amazing little mini market! Crafts, clothing, a flower shop, and even a little bit of booze! I have yet to have a bad experience here browsing all of the little shops. Everyone seems to be wandering around without any sales associate pressuring you. I enjoy this no nonsense free form of shopping. Totally worth the stop whether you are a local or a tourist looking for a small Palm Springs souvenir. My personal favorite were the super cute novelty claw clips. Pricing is about what I would expect from small owned businesses but not unreasonable! Definitely make some time to wander in and take a look! Everything is very clean and well kept and they have their own parking lot so no need to park on the street. read more

My wife wanted to do some shopping and we left the tramway around 3 pm and got here shortly after. We were glad we made it as this place closes at 5 pm. This place is fun to "window shop" in-doors as they have a variety of items for sale. They have local items, clothes, paintings, food items, alcoholic and non-alcoholic wine and beers. My wife found a pair of sunglasses but it was the glasses only without a case. While she really liked them, she wished they came with a case. She ended up finding a really cute pair of earrings. If we were staying an extra night, I would have bought some of the non-alcoholic drinks as they had a nice variety. The wine store also had tastings which was nice. I was a bit confused if all the stores were connected in someway or if it was all individual as there were cash registers littered around the place. Overall this is a nice place to check out and they have plenty of variety. The staff is super friendly and willing to help out. The items are a tad bit on the pricy side, however given some of the items a local or handmade you can definitely tell that its not a cheap item bought off of amazon and a label slapped on it. read more

I am beyond obsessed with the Mojave Flea Trading Post. It is always a must stop when I am down in Palm Springs. I absolutely love the vibes in this store and the awesome clothing, home decor, and accessories that they have. As with any flea market vending shop there are multiple stores/stalls within this building. It's truly perfect as you get a taste of some of the best offerings in the desert. I feel that 80% of the stalls are quality in terms of what they carry, the layout, and pricing is typically pretty reasonable with the exception of there being some pricy jewelry areas. Not that they are overpriced but you can find different good here ranging from $5 to $200 depending what your looking at. I always find great items here for myself or for gifts. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very casual and welcoming. No staff persons hovering over you while you shop but there are people readily available should you need help or be ready to pay. Also pro tip - they have their own parking lot which makes shopping here even more of a breeze. We know how crazy the street parking in downtown can get when they are in season. I've bought cards, stickers, perfumes, shirts, and leather goods here. There is no limit to the cool stuff and booths they have here. If you are a thrifter they have some vintage clothes as well but also plenty of areas selling brand new items, there's something for everyone. What a lovely collection of small little shops inside this one area. It's soothing and gentle and interesting, a nice break from the heat!

This place is a magical. There is much to explore in this high square footage space. Most of the items are created by locally owned makers or artists, representing the best of desert wares. There is a broad range of merchandise; including apparel, home and inspirational goods. Each section allows a merchant to display their own items, at is set up as a collective. There is a cute little spot in the back of the store to lounge, pick up a refrigerated beverage and/or a snack. On this first visit; I enjoyed some cactus candy and a sparkling soda while I shopped. I will return here on future trips to the desert. It is one of the best places to purchase gifts from the region for yourself, friends or family members. After researching who the owner was- I was able to connect on instagram with him and sent a thoughtful email about my experience and the unprofessional behavior of SM Jose throughout my email exchange with him. I am very disappointed that the owner never responded to my email even though he confirmed his email address to me. I believe professional mgt training should occur from top down - customer service should always be top of mind - especially from a business that is considered " local". I would NOT recommend this establishment. read more

Great little shop with some really awesome finds--definitely worth browsing. That said, the customer service was a bit of a letdown. The staff seemed to pick and choose who they wanted to engage with, which made the experience feel a little unwelcoming. Checkout was also slower than expected. Really cool shop with lots of different displays from local vendors. The reason I'm giving 2 stars is because they had wasps throughout the store--hiding in shelves and on products. This could potentially be dangerous for shoppers who have an allergic reaction when stung who may touch something where a wasp is hiding. When I told the lady at the front she nonchalantly said "yeah they've been sneaking in". Now I'm assuming they've tried to get them out or kill them and I hope they've tried something and just couldn't keep them all out. My suggestion would be to let shoppers know as they enter "POTENTIAL DANGER IF YOU'RE ALLERGIC TO WASPS" before they shop. read more

Mojave Flea Trading Post is a collective of boutique stands of mostly local artisans and clothing makers. Did you want botanicals? Not your grandparent's tie dye clothing? Crocheted art structures? Multi-toned ceramics? A full wardrobe of clothes in desert sand color that has strategically aged in holes? A chromed out space age floor lamp? Some mixed media art for your home? Leather goods? Craft coffee? It's all here. This "flea" market is 95% new goods and with just a touch of vintage. Clothes are on the pricier side, but if you've been chasing for new drops your whole, the prices here won't faze you. If you were heading to Coachella but forgot to pack clothes, this would be a great place to stop. Wow, The Mojave Flea Trading Post here in Palm Springs is a massive space filled with individual booth style spots selling everything from clothing to shoes to decor to hip desert chic for the home. All under one roof. Different vendors with different wares. A treasure trove of leathers, Stetson hats , desert inspired clothing to Joshua Tree souvenirs. It's all here. Important to note that this place is not tacky at all. It's definitely supporting local which I love. You should expect to spend at least an hour here browsing through all the cool merchandise. read more

I love this shop! They home several artists and their products, such as Hand Meets Sky. We come to Palm Springs regularly so this also tops our "first stops" list. With purchasing from local artisans there is of course a price tag that follows. Their in house purchaser does a great job at items, but I was so sad when I bought a carafe set and the bottle broke then when we went to find a replacement it was a 16th of the cost hahaha. I like this place and usually do a quick walk thru when I visit Palm Springs, but they REALLY need to get some new vendors in. I no longer stop in. They always have the same products, just about same everything. I think the spaces are rented so as long as rent is paid the items will stay....it's just that literally it's the same stuff for years now. read more

A charming location and aesthetic, this shop hosts an arrangement of small vendors and boutique style spaces all under one roof. Came here with my sister for weekend vacation shopping before our dinner reservations. Ended up finding a few things worthwhile. I found quality in the items I purchased, but the surprise came later with two pillows that my sister purchased for just a little over $100 from one of the small vendors with a display located in an old airstream trailer in the front corner of the shop. A friend visited her house sometime later and complemented the pillows, saying that she got the same pair recently from HomeGoods. Does this mean this shop sources from HomeGoods? We are genuinely confused. My purchases were vintage and handmade, therefore couldn't be outsourced from a large corporate vendor, but this has me thinking about what could be hiding behind some of the other overpriced items in the store. This obviously was a small vendor that wasn't honest with their intentions. Disappointing. Palm Springs leaves much to be desired for shopping unfortunately. read more

If you are looking for authentic, actual Native American supplies, this is not the place. It's more like a night club with t-shirts, trinkets, commercially produced amateur smudge and novelty items. The name of the store is inaccurate for an actual "Trading Post." On the plus side, the employees are nice and its very tidy. read more

So impressed with Mojave Flea Trading Post! We had driven past this place the past 2 years, always at times when they were closed, but today finally had the opportunity to take a trip inside. So many unique stalls with creative items that match the esthetic of the Mojave desert, Joshua tree, and Palm Springs perfectly. If you're looking for a gift, a unique souvenir, or a casual browse to pass some time - this is the spot! The people that give this place a low rating are so wrong. To all Yelp reviewers and Yelp readers, please pay attention to the people that give bad reviews to everything on Yelp. If you click on their profile, look at all of their reviews, you will see how miserable these people are. They will have either all bad reviews, majority bad reviews, or the extreme both full 5 star reviews and then super negative reviews (bipolar much?). They feel that the world revolves around them...they think they are riding in a litter being carried in by slaves and all are suppose to bow to them and everything must be perfect...these people are unreasonable...but I digress... This place is RAD!! So many unique items including clothing, throws, pillows, shoes, furniture, jewelry...such great style and EVERYONE working here were SUPER friendly and helpful. No LA/Bay Area/NY attitude...zero! All of the items and booth have such unique stories and methods to creating what they sell. One booth, for example, had really neat clothing that is created by shooting a shot gun at it...making each piece its own. And the coffee booth, Vagabond Roasting, is THE BEST COFFEE IN PALM SPRINGS! Casey, the owner, was soooo nice and made me a flash brew that was outstanding! They have insane homemade cookies as well! read more

The Mojave Flea has an eclectic selection of goodies from local artists. Everyone was wearing masks and following all covid guidelines which made me feel at ease to just enjoy the shopping experience. It's great to see lots of different makers under one roof. I used to go to the Mojave flea when it was at the Ace and I'm so glad they have this permanent installation so I can go whenever I want. Be sure to get a delicious coffee while you browse and the flower shop is also great. read more

This gem in the desert is one of my new must-stop destinations every time I visit the Palm Springs area. I was in dire need of a place to visit in Palm Springs that wasn't a resort, a bar, or an "I love Palm Springs" gift shop and THIS blew me away with it's uniqueness. I describe Mojave Flea to all my friends as a "warehouse in the desert filled with artists" and I would say that's a pretty good description. There are booths set up by independent artists from all throughout the Coachella valley selling products from prints to antiques to clothes that have been blasted with shotguns (Totally Blown Clothing). My personal favorite booth is all the way in the back left corner of the building labeled Hermano Flower Shop, run by a super nice dude with a lot of heart and a great small business story. He sells beautiful flowers and unique merchandise inspired by his background as a musician, skater, and botany enthusiast (I hope I'm doing you justice with that description man lol). Definitely go check out Mojave Flea and Hermano Flower Shop If you've exhausted your pool time and margarita tolerance or If you'd just like to see some really cool stuff made by really cool folks. And make sure to either bring a bunch of cash or none at all depending on how much you're willing to buy...because you WILL want to spend money here. read more

The merchandise is NOT your run-of-the-mill tourist souvenir stuff...although they do have some momentos from Joshua Tree NP...but some really unusual clothing in natural fabrics and decorative items for the home.
