I have driven by PS HomeBoys in downtown Palm Springs so many times over the years and always meant…read moreto go inside, but somehow I never seemed to have the time. Now that I finally do, it feels like I am getting a second chance to see the places I missed when I used to live here. PS HomeBoys had always been on my radar and the moment I walked in I understood why. I absolutely love the vibe of this place. The showroom feels like the perfect expression of the Palm Springs design spirit. It is bright, colorful, creative, and unapologetically mid-century modern while still feeling fresh and current. The shop was founded by interior designer Jeremy Taylor together with his partner Niels Kosman, and you can really feel that designer's eye throughout the space. Every piece feels intentional, from the furniture and lighting to the artwork and wallpaper. Nothing feels random or mass-produced. It feels curated. Palm Springs has such a strong design identity and PS HomeBoys captures it perfectly. Walking through the store feels like stepping into the kind of home you see in the iconic desert architecture that made this city famous. It is easy to imagine how these pieces would work in a stylish desert home or even a vacation rental, which makes sense because they also help stage and design homes around the area. For anyone who appreciates great interior design, mid-century style, or just wants to browse something different from the usual furniture stores, this place is absolutely worth visiting. I am honestly glad I finally made the time to go inside after all these years. Sometimes you pass by a place for years without stopping, and then when you finally do you realize you should have gone in a long time ago. This is definitely one of those spots.

We didn't buy anything, but I found a ton of really cool things that I wanted to take home with me. It is probably a good thing we rode to Palm Springs with our friends in a small SUV rather than our pick-up truck. I would've filled the truck! I definitely want to return with a high limit credit card. LOL! The giant Lava Lamp was rad!

I'd like to think I'm hipper than the hippest person out there... but I'm honest enough to admit…read moreI'm not anymore. I used to be deeply plugged into the fashion world. I wasn't just following trends, I was ahead of them. I wore things before they hit, before they made sense to anyone else. That takes effort, instinct, and money. It's a different kind of life. And unless you're in it every single day, on the creative or design side, you slowly lose touch with what's emerging now. Walking into Mojave Flea Trading Post brought all of that back in a very real way. I feel completely comfortable in a space like this, but it also reminds me of a version of myself that used to help shape what people wore. There's a quiet nostalgia to it. Not regret, just awareness. I don't need to be that person anymore. Now I care about different things. I look for natural fabrics like 100% cotton and linen, pieces that breathe, pieces that feel good on your skin and don't come with all the hidden downsides. And this store delivers on that. There are racks of thoughtfully curated items that feel both current and wearable, coming from new designers who are clearly paying attention. It's not just clothing. It's a point of view. And what makes it even better is the space itself. There's a matcha spot and a small food area tucked into the back where you can sit, slow down, and just enjoy being there. It turns a shopping trip into something more like an experience. This is a genuinely great addition to Palm Springs. The kind of place that gives the city a little more edge, a little more relevance. Palm Springs is lucky to have it.

A beautiful selection of fun things. The decors, that's another wonderful thing. Not sure they're available for purchase but they're amazing. The former Steinmart which I've never been as well. A massive storefront that house amazing vintage pieces, both apparel and furniture. There's plenty of parking out front. Walking in I didn't know what to expect besides seeing what the post online was. Let me say, it was a major shock but in a massive GOOD way. Shopping Mecca for all you vintage lover. Right at the front is the cashier which the gentleman working was a massive gem. The sweetest and friendliest. The layout of the place is an open storefront. Different vendors I believe that house their goods. Just walking through will take some time as there's literally something that will catch your eyes. Also located right at the front, a charcuterie mini truck. How cute to have something like that. Next to that is a specialty market which offers amazing wine options and cocktail mixes and liquor. Treats and more treats to accompany what you like to drink. A cute place with the vibe of a world market and specialty store. Walking through, there's so much to see. One of a kind art pieces to art deco, MCM, traditional and so much more. But if you're looking for clothes, it's heaven here. The options are endless. If you're a vintage lover, look no further. Racks and racks of amazing pieces. Just browsing the area took a while as something constantly was catching my eyes. I believe it's both local designer that have a storefront there as well. I could be wrong on that. It's a big open concept but I did notice some staff sitting at their areas so I assume it's their storefront. Anyways, it's amazing. Wither you're looking for something unique to vintage to up to date trends. You will find some amazing pieces here. Designer labels of all kinds are here. Shoes galore if your a shoe whore which I was salivating over...lol.... Just one thing after another. They do have fitting rooms scattered throughout for you. The employees was the sweetest. I'm not sure how many there are but the ones I've encountered were dolls. Imagine Fred Segal meets Dover Street with a mix of Paper Bag Princess. New meets old with a major twist. This place has it all. I'm very glad to have found this and will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone.

I liked the space and freedom to browse on my own. Selection: Fun, unique, entertaining. Saw many things I liked. But I was not able to buy anything. Value: Super expensive. Tshirts I was willing to pay for maybe $60 were $120. Giving them 4 stars because I don't want them to close since it has a lot of entertainment factor and I will keep on going back. Because of the price point, I feel like they just want to present and boast about their merchandise and not sell anything. If they want to sell merchandise, they would need to lower their prices a little bit.
