There is a kids arcade inside called Kids Quest that has good games. There are great fine dining options inside such as Sushi Koya, Tao Asian Bistro, The Farm Italy, and Michael Jordan's Steak House. Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana also makes good fresh brick oven pizza that is made to order. Although the pizza used to be much better back in the day. Some of the restaurants have changed over the years, but most of the key ones have stayed the same. The hotel is also well put together and comfortable. Additionally, my relatives like what the casino has to offer here. Aside from that, they do have some great shows and concerts here. They also have a shopping area where you can spend a lot of time. Shopping-wise, The Olde General Store has some unique and quaint supplies and tools. Sometimes, this store carries handmade dolls by local Mohegan artists. Hell, I have the midis touch as soon as I step in the door. $100 bills are flying all over da place and my favorite machine is the GIANT BUFFALO slot machine. It constantly pays time & time again. Let's start off with Staff: every single person that we ran into was super friendly from every bartender to lady in the pool that offered us bags for our wet clothes. They were all fantastic Casino: i truly thought this place was absolutely gorgeous. And I felt like there was something to look at at every turn, and there was a lot of machines and it wasn't very busy on the days we were there, but it was very cool The way they did it. The shops are all very different from Sephora. To the general store and I love that some arevopen even later. Restaurants: i really liked the secret garden and all the drinks that they had and I enjoyed all the selection.And I felt like I didn't even see everything I love, the everything was so close together and that they had a lot of things for kids. Hotel: we got upgraded to a really nice room that made my kids very happy, because they had their own room and their own beds. A perfect midweek escape at Mohegan Sun! We stayed in the Sky Tower. Our room was on a higher floor, away from the elevator & it was peaceful in great contrast to the energy of the casino below & the views were absolutely stunning! One of the highlights was the Sun Terrace Pool. The 10,000 s.f. solarium creates such a bright, airy atmosphere. The indoor pool was the perfect temperature & the whirlpool was perfect for unwinding. It felt like a mini retreat within the resort! And to top it all off, my husband had some luck in the casino which totally makes the makes the whole experience even better! Went here on Sunday, May 10, 2026 with a checkout date of May 13, 2026. I went to bed on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 and was awakened at 3am scratching profusely around my neck and chest. I jumped up and went to the bathroom and noticed bites on my neck, chin and chest. I was afraid to get back into my bed so I got in the other double bed that was in the room. I grabbed my phone and began searching on Google for issues with bedbugs at Mohegan Sun and found a plethora of reviews going back to 2005 on guests experiencing bed bug bites. I decided to follow the advice of the sites and go downstairs to file a report with management. Just as I was getting out of bed I glanced over at the other bed and noticed movement. It was a bedbug!!!! I captured that sucker in a plastic drinking cup and took it downstairs to report it to management. The assistant manager on duty said she would file my report with the manager and someone would get back to me within four days. She also offered to transfer me to another room but I told her I because my checkout was the same day at 11am so I went back upstairs to my room and took a shower and left around 4am. I've been going to Mohegan Sun since they opened in 1997 and I have never experience bedbugs there but one encounter with them suckers is enough to keep anybody away because they can easily become an infestation. I have seen documentaries of real life horror stories about bedbugs and what they have done to people's homes, lives, and emotional psyche. read more

Mohegan Sun is massive. Bring your most comfortable walking shoes because you will be doing a lot of walking. The place is enormous and you could easily spend an entire weekend here and still not see everything. There are tons of restaurants, but make sure you make reservations ahead of time. We tried getting into several places and couldn't get a table anywhere. We ended up eating dinner at Chick-fil-A, which unfortunately was extremely dirty and had nowhere to sit. For a property this large, Mohegan Sun really needs more seating areas for the fast food spots so people actually have somewhere to eat. Parking was also a bit stressful because the signage wasn't very clear, we had to call the front desk and ask where to go. From an accessibility standpoint, I wouldn't consider it very handicap accessible. The elevators are somewhat hidden and hard to find, and there's no clear map to help you figure out where anything is. Some of the signs were even wrong, which made navigating the property even more confusing. We spent most of the time asking where things were, and a few times the staff gave us the wrong directions. That said, the casino itself is huge and impressive. If you enjoy casinos, there's plenty to explore. The hotel room was probably one of the cleanest and most spacious rooms I've ever stayed in, which was a big plus. The arena is also very large. It looks like it could hold around 10,000 to 15,000 people. And almost every seat seems like a good seat except the floor seats.... When everyone stands up, it's hard to see the stage. We had Krispy Kreme for breakfast and Ben & Jerry's for a late night snack. I would definitely go back. Next time I'll just make reservations for dinner ahead of time and bring my transport chair because it's just too much walking for me. read more

Massive property and many different table games to choose from. My Casino Host Patty is The Best Casino Host that I've ever had, and that's over 30 years of gambling at Casinos. Patty is prompt and friendly and is quick to return my phone calls to her. My favorite games to play are #1 Blackjack and there are many variations here to which you can choose. This Casino has many different types of games to choose from as well.. And although I'm not really a machine player the Mohegan Sun has a ton of machines people can play. The restaurant's are anywhere from budget friendly to Expensive. My All time favorite place to eat there is Michael Jordan's Restaurant. Omg my Filet Mignon is Always cooked to Perfection and all my sides that I ordered are made to perfection. I Always try to get Stacy as my waitress she's extreamly pleasant and friendly. If I could give zero stars, I would. The experience my boyfriend and I had at Bow & Arrow was shocking and completely unacceptable. We were visiting family back home, and this has always been his favorite wing spot. He had talked it up forever and was excited for me to finally try it. As he finished his beer, he suddenly pulled a large shard of glass from his mouth, along with several smaller pieces that had been stuck to the roof of his mouth. This came directly from the inside glass. We immediately informed the waitress, who brought over security. After waiting around for 10 minutes, security took his name and number and collected the shard. No one explained what was happening, no one checked on him, and no one showed even basic concern. Instead, management tried to force him to pay the entire tab, claiming that "nothing happened" and that the shard was "probably plastic." That is absolutely false, plastic does not chip, shine, or fracture like glass. Anyone with eyes can see that in the photos. We understandably refused to pay. The tribal police ultimately stepped in and paid the tab themselves because management refused to act with any courtesy, accountability, or empathy. Now, we are left monitoring his stool for the next 2-3 days to make sure his internal organs weren't damaged from ingesting glass. This is not minor. This is a serious health risk. For anyone going here: watch your glasses closely. They stack them, they chip, and apparently no one takes responsibility when something goes horribly wrong. This whole ordeal took 2 1/2 hours to finally be resolved, taking our leisure time that was supposed to be spent spending more money on the gambling floor. No one apologized for the situation and did not acknowledge the mistake that was made. Extremely disappointing and handled in the worst way possible. read more

The pool was under renovations while we were here. Which was the whole purpose for our trip with the kids. We're not big gamblers but like the ease of having dining and pool and kids stuff in one place. The arcade is small but sufficient for a few quick visits. The kids quest play area is only for kids to be dropped off which I was not comfortable with. So we didn't try that. My family loved the dining options we ate at the shed, Johnny rockets although one person in our party got sick from their milk shake there. The casino is small, yet packed with things to do, such as casino games, shopping, dining, live entertainment, and many other fun things. While those sentiments are still true, after staying overnight for a friend's birthday I can see the appeal. Our room was spacious for the two of us and had a great view of the river from the 25th floor. The bathroom was the best part of the room, very spacious and bright. I will say the water pressure in the shower is pretty much non-existent though. The casino has plenty of shops and restaurants. Le Cruset and Tesla aren't necessarily the first places I want to go with my money, but why not get a little window shopping in? I did shopping and eating of course but since everything is so pricey, I stuck to the rivers and lakes I'm used to. I used my time at the casino to get my steps in and I'm not sure if that's sketchy casino behavior but there were definitely some points where I felt overwatched by security and that's why I removed a star. Knowing that, I decided to give Mohegan Sun a try and I'm glad that I did. To explain, the casino was absolutely massive with beautiful decor. I felt like I was in a palace not a casino. Furthermore, the casino was loaded with table games, slot machines, virtual machines, and a poker room. In addition, the Sportsbook was excellent. To expand, the Sportsbook had a bunch of kiosks, comfy chairs, and televisions. It was one of the nicer sports books I've been to. In similar fashion, Mohegan offers a lot of good dining options. For example, they have Frank Pepe's, Hash House A Go Go, Chick-fil-A, and Krispy Kreme. Most casinos just have a food court, but Mohegan goes above and beyond. My only problem with Mohegan is that they don't not have a complimentary drink station like Turning Stone does. However, you can get free drinks at the blackjack tables. Myself and two friends attended Paul Anka concert on April 17, 2026. We were celebrating our friend's 70th birthday so we purchased floor tickets, section 1 Row A. Although the tickets were pricey, we decided it was a special occasion. We were so excited to see Mr. Anka coming down the aisle so we stood up and walked about 5 steps to get a better look. All of a sudden, a security guard named Sandy came up to us and pushed us stating get back to your seats. Each of us told him to take his hands off of us. We are a 67 year old, a 69 year old and a 70 year old. Our 67 year old has an autoimmune disease that affects her balance. She could have easily been pushed down. How dare he lay his hands on anyone! Needless to say, Sandy ruined our excitement for the night. Walking out of the show, I saw a security man wearing a blue jacket and told him how Sandy put his hands on us. This man just nodded as if he couldn't care less. I would like to hear from someone reguarding our experience and feel Sandy should be reprimanded. I just spent the weekend here and had an amazing time. When I got there, the bellman, Jay, took my bags up to my room in the Sky Tower. He was awesome, so if you can, definitely request him! My room had an iron, a safe, and complimentary water bottles. It was clean, and the bed was super comfortable. During my stay, we ate at both the sushi restaurant and Ballo Italian restaurant. I highly recommend Ballo, it's great that they take reservations until 10:45 PM. One morning, I ordered room service, and everything came quickly and hot. The hotel has a ton of stores, restaurants, a business center, fire pits, lounges, and casinos, making it really convenient since you don't have to leave for anything. A few complaints/notes. Every time I've been here, the front desk staff hasn't been very friendly, and it feels like you're bothering them. I felt like the casino has disconnected itself from customers all together. I spoke with a driver who completed a Master diploma program, only to find out their immediate supervisory/ managerial staff members don't even carry undergrads. The discrimination becomes more obvious now that I know and am seeing it on my trips in. One can only wonder why they wouldn't promote someone with a college education to lead in their department of experience. It's owned and operated by a Native American tribe, the Mohegan Tribe. It also has an arena, cabaret theater, wolf den, meeting space, ballroom, and retail shopping. There are approximately 8,000 employees. Whenever I go, I enjoy shopping, dining, and playing the slot machines. I'm not much of a gambler but it's fun once in a while. The decor is pretty and I love the lights, sounds, and lively ambiance. It's like walking in a fancy shopping mall. I don't think you'll be too bored being at the Mohegan Sun since it has dining options, hotels, shopping, live entertainment, and sporting events. There are also spas, poker rooms, and various gambling games. There's a Tesla dealer there also. For the kids, there's an arcade, tiny tots area, gym, playscape, and cafe.
