Mohegan Sun absolutely exceeded my expectations! This place is truly BEAUTIFUL. From the moment you walk in, the décor and attention to detail are incredible. The interior is inspired by Native American culture, New England nature, and celestial elements, which gives the entire resort such a unique and impressive atmosphere. The different areas throughout the casino are beautifully designed around natural elements, including the Casino of the Sky, Casino of the Earth, and Casino of the Wind. The combination of natural wood, stone, dramatic architectural details, and artwork is stunning. One of the most impressive pieces is the enormous hand-blown glass sculpture in the Casino of the Sky -- pictures honestly don't do it justice! There is also SO much to do without ever having to leave the property. There are tons of restaurants, stores for shopping, entertainment, and plenty of places to grab late-night snacks. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The entire hotel and casino were spotless and very well maintained, especially considering how large the property is. One of the highlights of our stay was dinner at Michael Jordan's Steak House. The steak was probably one of the BEST I've ever had -- absolutely incredible! And you MUST order the garlic bread. Trust me, you will not regret it! Between the gorgeous décor, amazing food, shopping, entertainment, cleanliness, and comfortable rooms, Mohegan Sun has officially become one of my favorite hotels. We had such an amazing experience and I'm already looking forward to coming back very soon. Definitely a 10/10 experience and a place I highly recommend! read more

Although it is wonderful to have such a venue in our state that draws great acts like John Mayer and Foo Fighters, there are some downsides worth considering. I'll try to provide a balanced view, because some aspects of the property are worth a lot more than the three stars I gave it. I'll start with the pluses. The staff is uniformly helpful and gracious. "Good mornings" were freely offered and every server at the various restaurants ( we were there four days) was professional and welcoming. Big props to whoever is managing personnel. This is NOT a small achievement for such a large establishment. I also want to give high marks for cleanliness. There were always workers picking up papers etc who were paying a lot more attention than the average worker to anything out of place. We saw one elderly worker brushing out debris from the escalator. Again, kudos to the management for personnel. Our room was adequate and nicely appointed with a magnificent view of the property. Darkening drapes protected us from the rising sun. Parking valet system was efficient and speedy. Now for the downsides. While only two, they were considerable enough to make me rethink a return trip. They are also the reason for writing this lengthy review for fellow YELPERS. Despite the numerous restaurants, there was not one place to eat simple, healthy food for breakfast or lunch. There was only ONE place to eat breakfast and it had no healthy options (oatmeal, yogurt, fruit). On my first day (waiting for my husband for lunch) I actually had to leave the restaurant because the smell of fried food was impossible to endure. Believe it or not, it was our only choice for a table service restaurant for lunch. Dinner choices were far better but one could starve before then. For this size property, maps should have been available in rooms or, at least, on the website. When choosing a place to dine, one had to call and inquire its location. This is a meaningful flaw when, if staying there on business, time is restricted. A few interactive maps were available in common areas but navigation was impossible from the rooms. This is where most guests would likely do their planning. A simple QR code for guests would solve this problem. So, top marks for staffing but too many negatives to warrant more than three stars OR a return visit. I'd love to see John Mayer perform but not there. read more

Love coming to the casino because there's everything that you could want in one spot Food, clothing, gambling, drinks, shows you name it! We typically come for dinner before a concert or a convention event. I really like the pop up bar that they have on the second floor with different themes every few months. The restaurants and food places are plentiful from coffee, to breakfast deserts and everything in between read more

I've been here so much lately, I love just walking around to get some steps in whenever it's raining out. The restaurants give great weeknight options, and I've slowly been working my way through all of them. Money Money Money is why I keep coming back! The old saying Money won is twice as good as money earned. Daddy always wins a new pair of shoes when play slots here. Hell, I have the midis touch as soon as I step in the door. $100 bills are flying all over da place and my favorite machine is the GIANT BUFFALO slot machine. It constantly pays time & time again. Ok, beside the slots the dining is absolutely fabulous. Everything from Chick Filet to Michael Jordan's Steakhouse serving prime dry aged steaks. Shopping store non problem cause they have plenty of options for shopping.... But enough of this I'm primed to hit the machines once again, so see ya! read more

A perfect midweek escape at Mohegan Sun! We stayed in the Sky Tower. Our room was on a higher floor, away from the elevator & it was peaceful in great contrast to the energy of the casino below & the views were absolutely stunning! One of the highlights was the Sun Terrace Pool. The 10,000 s.f. solarium creates such a bright, airy atmosphere. The indoor pool was the perfect temperature & the whirlpool was perfect for unwinding. It felt like a mini retreat within the resort! And to top it all off, my husband had some luck in the casino which totally makes the makes the whole experience even better! Overall, it was the ideal mix of relaxation, fun & a little excitement. We will definitely be back! read more

Mohegan Sun is massive. Bring your most comfortable walking shoes because you will be doing a lot of walking. The place is enormous and you could easily spend an entire weekend here and still not see everything. There are tons of restaurants, but make sure you make reservations ahead of time. We tried getting into several places and couldn't get a table anywhere. We ended up eating dinner at Chick-fil-A, which unfortunately was extremely dirty and had nowhere to sit. For a property this large, Mohegan Sun really needs more seating areas for the fast food spots so people actually have somewhere to eat. Parking was also a bit stressful because the signage wasn't very clear, we had to call the front desk and ask where to go. From an accessibility standpoint, I wouldn't consider it very handicap accessible. The elevators are somewhat hidden and hard to find, and there's no clear map to help you figure out where anything is. Some of the signs were even wrong, which made navigating the property even more confusing. We spent most of the time asking where things were, and a few times the staff gave us the wrong directions. That said, the casino itself is huge and impressive. If you enjoy casinos, there's plenty to explore. The hotel room was probably one of the cleanest and most spacious rooms I've ever stayed in, which was a big plus. The arena is also very large. It looks like it could hold around 10,000 to 15,000 people. And almost every seat seems like a good seat except the floor seats.... When everyone stands up, it's hard to see the stage. We had Krispy Kreme for breakfast and Ben & Jerry's for a late night snack. I would definitely go back. Next time I'll just make reservations for dinner ahead of time and bring my transport chair because it's just too much walking for me. read more

The trainee at the front desk tried to over charge us for our room by 300%. Then we called down asking for a spare pillow and they said they would send one up. So we went down, had dinner, saw a concert that was ok at best. By the time we made it back to our room, there wasn't an extra pillow. So we called down to the front desk and they said they were all out of pillows. Personally I prefer Foxwoods. read more

My first time seeing a concert at the Arena and it was great! Easy to find our seats, great viewing from section 8. Clean floors and chairs. Parking and signage were nicely positioned and easy to follow. I do wish there were some people here & there to ask questions. Bathrooms, flawless. I thanked each woman I met. Personally I don't think they're appreciated enough. If there was a tip jar I would have added to each. The process of checking in to the arena was flawless! With this band you need to use a yndr pouch for your phone, last year a different venue, created a major cluster. Mohegan and the people working there .. excellent. A great experience read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. The experience my boyfriend and I had at Bow & Arrow was shocking and completely unacceptable. We were visiting family back home, and this has always been his favorite wing spot. He had talked it up forever and was excited for me to finally try it. As he finished his beer, he suddenly pulled a large shard of glass from his mouth, along with several smaller pieces that had been stuck to the roof of his mouth. This came directly from the inside glass. We immediately informed the waitress, who brought over security. After waiting around for 10 minutes, security took his name and number and collected the shard. No one explained what was happening, no one checked on him, and no one showed even basic concern. Instead, management tried to force him to pay the entire tab, claiming that "nothing happened" and that the shard was "probably plastic." That is absolutely false, plastic does not chip, shine, or fracture like glass. Anyone with eyes can see that in the photos. We understandably refused to pay. The tribal police ultimately stepped in and paid the tab themselves because management refused to act with any courtesy, accountability, or empathy. Now, we are left monitoring his stool for the next 2-3 days to make sure his internal organs weren't damaged from ingesting glass. This is not minor. This is a serious health risk. For anyone going here: watch your glasses closely. They stack them, they chip, and apparently no one takes responsibility when something goes horribly wrong. This whole ordeal took 2 1/2 hours to finally be resolved, taking our leisure time that was supposed to be spent spending more money on the gambling floor. No one apologized for the situation and did not acknowledge the mistake that was made. Extremely disappointing and handled in the worst way possible. read more

Came here after a long day of shopping and eating dinner. Wanted to stop in to get some donuts at Krispi Kreme. It was Saturday night around 8pm and boy was it crowded. We thought there was a concert or a basketball game happening as there was very little parking on all floors of the garage. Found out later there was a special event happening. It had been years since I had been to Mohegan Sun, but decided to give them a shot and go for a stay recently. Let's start off with Staff: every single person that we ran into was super friendly from every bartender to lady in the pool that offered us bags for our wet clothes. They were all fantastic Casino: i truly thought this place was absolutely gorgeous. And I felt like there was something to look at at every turn, and there was a lot of machines and it wasn't very busy on the days we were there, but it was very cool The way they did it. The shops are all very different from Sephora. To the general store and I love that some arevopen even later. Restaurants: i really liked the secret garden and all the drinks that they had and I enjoyed all the selection. And I felt like I didn't even see everything I love, the everything was so close together and that they had a lot of things for kids. Hotel: we got upgraded to a really nice room that made my kids very happy, because they had their own room and their own beds. They enjoyed being able to go on their own little entrance. And they enjoyed the living room that we had in between. I would definitely be back here Multiple times read more

I have to say the rewards program is by far the best. I only gamble once in a while we go up maybe once every three months they send me emails for free rooms FreePlay and free concerts all the time. I was Always traveling to Atlantic City from NYC many times a month and the horrendous traffic Always made me feel exhausted by the end of the trip. After over 30 years playing in AC I finally had the idea to try the Connecticut Casinos. My first visit to the Mohegan Sun I was Hooked. Massive property and many different table games to choose from. My Casino Host Patty is The Best Casino Host that I've ever had, and that's over 30 years of gambling at Casinos. Patty is prompt and friendly and is quick to return my phone calls to her. My favorite games to play are #1 Blackjack and there are many variations here to which you can choose. This Casino has many different types of games to choose from as well.. And although I'm not really a machine player the Mohegan Sun has a ton of machines people can play. The restaurant's are anywhere from budget friendly to Expensive. My All time favorite place to eat there is Michael Jordan's Restaurant. Omg my Filet Mignon is Always cooked to Perfection and all my sides that I ordered are made to perfection. I Always try to get Stacy as my waitress she's extreamly pleasant and friendly. The setup here at the Mohegan Sun is Awesome and All the Staff from the cleaning staff. Security,Pit bosses to the Dealers are Fantastic!!! My rooms are always very clean and comfortable. Mohegan Sun had a lot of store's that you can shop at plus a few high end stores which is great when you're on a winning streak. Win or lose I always enjoy my stay here at the Mohegan Sun Casino. read more

I just have to say that Mohegan Sun Casino has given me a much better experience and entertainment than any other I have gone to! The games are fun and always upgrading to new games! Plus the Restaurants are second to none and you can go frugal or expensive depends on your tastes or interests! But I do have to comment of their Reservation Operator that makes your experience happen! I was interacting with "DENISE", from Reservation and she took my information and made my decision to stay much easier! She checked and confirmed my request and was extremely pleasant and truly a huge asset to the Mohegan Family! Thank you so much and I hope that someone in Corporate will approach you and tell you they are super pleased that you gave a Mohegan Sun Member a wonderful experience! I also want to give another shout out to another deserving Mohegan Sun Manager who for a few years has been so helpful and pleasant to me whenever he saw me at Mohegan! He was at all the Give Away Events but last I heard he was promoted to Public Events Manager "CAMERON SHULTZ"! He has the personality and presence that makes guests feel welcome! I hope to bump into him again but I know that a Mohegan Sun is aware of his worth! Happy Spring and keep Mohegan Sun the Best! read more

Mohegan Sun is hands-down the best casino in the Northeast. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a spotless, beautifully maintained space and a staff that's consistently friendly, helpful, and professional. It's more than just a casino--it's a full-on entertainment destination. The shopping options are fantastic, with a mix of upscale boutiques and fun specialty stores that make browsing a blast. The bars and restaurants offer something for every taste--from casual bites to fine dining. Whether you're grabbing sushi at Tao, indulging in steak at Michael Jordan's, or sipping cocktails at Vista Lounge, the quality and atmosphere are top-tier. The arena is a showstopper. I've seen some of the best concerts and events there--big names, great acoustics, and a crowd that's always electric. It's one of the few venues where every seat feels like a good one. Mohegan Sun nails the balance between luxury and approachability. Whether you're there for gaming, shopping, dining, or catching a show, it delivers an unforgettable experience every time!! Don't need to stay here again. The place was hopping - with pro basketball game & kids sports tournament - but no excuse for lack of staff. Check in was a disaster! Front staff insisted that I booked a "smoking" room which I certainly did not. Rather than offering to switch it, they seemed to blame me. It took having to provide evidence (my booking email) to get them to willingly make a non smoking room available. Not cool! The room itself layout is fine. Paper thin towels, bath products that were waterlike, rough sheets. Not the upscale experience I was hoping for. Went here on Sunday, May 10, 2026 with a checkout date of May 13, 2026. I went to bed on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 and was awakened at 3am scratching profusely around my neck and chest. I jumped up and went to the bathroom and noticed bites on my neck, chin and chest. I was afraid to get back into my bed so I got in the other double bed that was in the room. I grabbed my phone and began searching on Google for issues with bedbugs at Mohegan Sun and found a plethora of reviews going back to 2005 on guests experiencing bed bug bites. I decided to follow the advice of the sites and go downstairs to file a report with management. Just as I was getting out of bed I glanced over at the other bed and noticed movement. It was a bedbug!!!! I captured that sucker in a plastic drinking cup and took it downstairs to report it to management. The assistant manager on duty said she would file my report with the manager and someone would get back to me within four days. She also offered to transfer me to another room but I told her I because my checkout was the same day at 11am so I went back upstairs to my room and took a shower and left around 4am. I've been going to Mohegan Sun since they opened in 1997 and I have never experience bedbugs there but one encounter with them suckers is enough to keep anybody away because they can easily become an infestation. I have seen documentaries of real life horror stories about bedbugs and what they have done to people's homes, lives, and emotional psyche. read more

The pool was under renovations while we were here. Which was the whole purpose for our trip with the kids. We're not big gamblers but like the ease of having dining and pool and kids stuff in one place. The arcade is small but sufficient for a few quick visits. The kids quest play area is only for kids to be dropped off which I was not comfortable with. So we didn't try that. My family loved the dining options we ate at the shed, Johnny rockets although one person in our party got sick from their milk shake there. We ate at the hashbrowns to go place forget the name but portions were huge. Shopping and other stuff here was great to have close by. Kids loved the candy store too. read more

Took a quick day trip to Mohegan Sun today, and had a pleasant time. The casino is small, yet packed with things to do, such as casino games, shopping, dining, live entertainment, and many other fun things. Although it is a casino, it can also be kid friendly since it has arcades, pools, and other kinds of excitement. You can keep occupied whether it's a day trip for a few hours, or even a few nights in their hotel. Since I went during the winter holidays, the casino was beautifully decorated in Christmas decorations. It also included fun Christmas activities like a "Gingerbread Bar." The casino does a great job of portraying its Native American theme based on its interior design like the rustic wooden beams, wolf statues, and carved artwork. Okay so I'm finally willing to give up my Casino-Hater card. I've always been anti-casino due to the fact that A) I don't gamble because I'm hella unlucky and B) it's literally just one big mall. While those sentiments are still true, after staying overnight for a friend's birthday I can see the appeal. Our room was spacious for the two of us and had a great view of the river from the 25th floor. The bathroom was the best part of the room, very spacious and bright. I will say the water pressure in the shower is pretty much non-existent though. The casino has plenty of shops and restaurants. Le Cruset and Tesla aren't necessarily the first places I want to go with my money, but why not get a little window shopping in? I did shopping and eating of course but since everything is so pricey, I stuck to the rivers and lakes I'm used to. I used my time at the casino to get my steps in and I'm not sure if that's sketchy casino behavior but there were definitely some points where I felt overwatched by security and that's why I removed a star. Super lame but alright, I guess? Either way, cool place for the most part. read more

Understand why casinos stay in business, the gambler always loses over the long term. With that being said, I'm always willing to go to a casino that I have never been to before. Knowing that, I decided to give Mohegan Sun a try and I'm glad that I did. To explain, the casino was absolutely massive with beautiful decor. I felt like I was in a palace not a casino. Furthermore, the casino was loaded with table games, slot machines, virtual machines, and a poker room. In addition, the Sportsbook was excellent. To expand, the Sportsbook had a bunch of kiosks, comfy chairs, and televisions. It was one of the nicer sports books I've been to. In similar fashion, Mohegan offers a lot of good dining options. For example, they have Frank Pepe's, Hash House A Go Go, Chick-fil-A, and Krispy Kreme. Most casinos just have a food court, but Mohegan goes above and beyond. My only problem with Mohegan is that they don't not have a complimentary drink station like Turning Stone does. However, you can get free drinks at the blackjack tables. Summing up, Mohegan Sun is a beautiful casino with a ton of gaming and dining options. read more

I just spent the weekend here and had an amazing time. When I got there, the bellman, Jay, took my bags up to my room in the Sky Tower. He was awesome, so if you can, definitely request him! I highly recommend Ballo, it's great that they take reservations until 10:45 PM. One morning, I ordered room service, and everything came quickly and hot. The hotel has a ton of stores, restaurants, a business center, fire pits, lounges, and casinos, making it really convenient since you don't have to leave for anything. A few complaints/notes. Every time I've been here, the front desk staff hasn't been very friendly, and it feels like you're bothering them.
