Two scoops of queso in Nachos. This place is not like any other MOES. They are rude. CR

Not friendly. Not compared to any other Moes. Will stick with Moes in Florence or Summerville moving forward.

I'm disappointed in the service I received last night. Charged extra for queso and this is what they put (see photo). Alsoooo what's the point in asking if we want green or red salsa.. If you're not going to put any in the bag. the rice and chicken were on point though and so was the delivery speed.

Straight barbage! If I could give it a 0 I would. This is a terrible representation of what Tex-Mex food is.

We are still working on our Mexican food tour of middle South Carolina. Right now it's a two way…read moretie and still need more places to test. Food here is pretty good and while the salsa is kid rated, you can spice it up pretty easy by adding hot sauce to it. Dinners are enjoyable, service was good and polite. This property is showing its age to be sure, I know it's been open here like this for at least 17 years, Still I recommend a stop for whatever American Mexican meal you like.

"Chicken Fajitas with a Side of Fumigation...??"…read more About a week ago, my family and I visited Angel's Mexican Restaurant after a failed attempt to dine at Red Lobster for a family member's birthday celebration. While I had a taste for some Cheddar Biscuits and Salmon, a family reunion and an extended 2 hour wait, relocated our party a few miles down the street to Angels. " The Scene" As with all Mexican restaurants, the restaurant resembled the establishments I frequent in Texas. The walls were adorned with Sombreros and vibrant colors and flags accented the decor. Unfortunately, upon entry, since my nose works perfectly, the unmistakable smell of a restaurant that had been recently fumigated assaulted me. I asked my party if their noses relayed the same thing and we all agreed that the smell was unmistakable. Sadly, the party continued to move forward so I decided to be of good cheer and enjoy the birthday celebration. "The Meal" Normally if I smell RAID in a restaurant entrance, I will do an "About Face" and March out the way I came, but alas it wasn't my birthday. As I type this review, I see that another Yelper has confirmed my suspicions about the smell, by verifying the presence of "vermin" during their recent stay. Even with the horrid smell, I decided to give the establishment a "3" as I didn't witness any... and our waitress was phenomenal. I have worked in the food industry as a youth and understand the importance of fumigation, just not remaining as thick in the air during dining hours, that I could cut the smell with a knife. Our party ordered 1. An appetizer of chicken wings and fries, (delicious) 2. An order of a white cheese hamburger dip 3. An order of a cheese Blanco dip 4. An extremely (DRY) white chicken meat burrito with cheese 5. Chicken tortilla soup (salty) 6. A kid's chicken quesadilla with Spanish rice 7. A Tilapia fajita with shrimp and scallops and a 2-plate special with a stuffed Chile Relleno. For dessert the party decided on chocolate filled churros that were actually light and fluffy. From what I gathered, the participants involved graciously ate and enjoyed their meal, while withholding comments about the horrific smell. All in all, the time catching up at the establishment was nice, but the smell made me nauseous. I couldn't enjoy my meal, and since I was on vacation with several places to eat at in Texas, I didn't want to make a scene. Unfortunately for me, a second visit will probably not be in the future. Da Islandgal29412 Ms. Foodie. I applaud management for trying to control their "vermin" issue, but please close the restaurant the day of and after, I literally was nauseous by the time we made it home...

You can be sure to find something for everyone here. The food is delicious- I lean towards the enchiladas and burritos- but they have lots of other options, tacos, quesadillas, fajitas, steak, chicken , seafood and vegetarian. The decor is typical Mexican Cantina style with tables and booths. The service is always great! They have a full bar - so grab a margarita!! The beers are huge and ice cold ! Chips and salsa is complimentary on arrival and serves with warm chips very tasty salsas - one hot and one mild ! I have made this place my must stop place when traveling to the beach or south. They also have another location in Myrtle Beach if that is your destination! I had the new menu item Chef Speciality Burrito Supreme - one chicken and bean burrito and one beef and bean burrito - topped with a flavorful creamy tomato sauce , melted cheese - lettuce , tomato and more shredded cheese and a dollop of sour cream on top ! Scrumptious!! Portion sizes are generous! Ask about happy hour drink specials - 4 $ house margaritas!! Very good ! Don't pass this place by- it's worth a stop lunch or dinner! Great prices too!!

They have a salsa bar with about 6 or more salsas people are able to choose from. The traditional salsa as well as the tomatillo salsa is my favorite. The ranch-style salsa is also one of my favorites. In addition to the salsas and bean dip, we also ordered queso, which is creamy and delicious. The grand margarita is amazing! Definitely will be my go to margarita here. They make it beautiful with the garnish. I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas. The chicken and steak were seasoned well, along with the vegetables, all of which were cooked to perfection. The rice and beans were delicious as well. I love how fresh everything is. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. The parking can get tight, but it's totally worth the wonderful experience.

The parking lot was full (was able to park in the log of a a nearby business that was closed) but there's plenty of seating inside so even with the full lot, we were easily able to get a table. Our server greeted us straight away and brought water, chips, and bean dip. They also have a salsa bar where you can help yourself to salsa! For my cocktail, I got their oaxaca old fashioned. Which was a reposado twist on a traditional whiskey old fashioned. It was great! For a starter, in addition to chips, bean dip, and salsa, we ordered some of their queso, which was silky cheesy deliciousness. For my dinner, I got the #19--chile relleno, small cheese quesadilla, and mexican rice. The chile relleno was flavorful, delicious, and had just the right amount of heat. It had a lovely drizzle of their queso as well which was a nice addition. It was so good! The dining room is clean, brightly lit, and nicely decorated. Our server was friendly and attentive. Truly, a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Get to it!
