Wow - What a fun and delicious restaurant experience!! From the moment I stepped in, I was welcomed by the super kind staff and it felt so inviting! The ladies working were so much fun - so much joy and felt like they truly cared about me. They gave such great recommendations and my meal was SO GOOD! I ordered "The Stack" and am craving it again just writing this review and thinking about how good it was. The dining room was open and clean and I was super happy with how the interior was laid out! A really fun part of the experience was the salsa bar with different salsas you can try and have with your chips! This was really unique and fun for me and my group! This place has really gone down hill fast. The attitudes of the folks working the line is horrific. The tables were dirty and the floor was slippery and unclean. The soda dispenser had a sludge dripping from it and when I informed the worker about it he just shrugged and said it was syrup. It wasn't syrup, it clearly was mild buildup. I came in to a long line but it didn't feel like it. They moved fast but when it was my turn they were friendly and not rushing me. All moes food is good food. This was no different. Been to many Moe's locations over the years. It's a reliable place to get a "made-to-order" Fast casual burrito, tacos , salad or other Tex-Mex dish . I do appreciate that they offer a knock-off of the Taco Bell Crunchwrap Supreme called "The Stack " We dropped by on a Saturday evening after lots of activities for a quick bite. "The Stack" hit the spot for me and the white queso with tortilla chips complemented the meal. The Service was surprisingly good for only hour before closing , but it wasn't too busy. All of our entrees were made to our preferences and executed well. Not sure how it would be during lunch or dinner rush, but we were happy with our experience. Only negative, the tables and restrooms were not satisfactory clean Other than that solid place to scratch your itch for fast casual Tex-Mex vs other nearby options like Chipotle, Salasarita's , Las Trojas, Taco Bell, or Phil Sandoval's. Moe's is one of my husbands favorites. However after my visit on 10/26/20 I'm not sure I'll go back. I came in around 7 pm, there was no one in line and I got no greeting. I walk up and the guy who was filling the cold bar portion asked the girl at the register to help me. She had just finished ringing up the last customer and was wearing gloves, she asked what I wanted. Without changing her gloves she made the burrito I ordered and the rang up the order on the register. I get the burrito grilled, so while I wait for the food I watched as she waited on the next person USING the same gloves still!!!! She must have gotten something on her right hand, because she changed that glove before ringing up the order. In the meantime the guy who had been filling the bar and wiping down the spills with a rag, grabbed the burrito off of the grill and rolled it in foil. I should have asked them to redo it, but we all no what happens if you complain! Didn't want to risk something even worse showing up in the burrito. Next time I will defiantly ask them to change gloves! read more

Moe's is my go to for lunch regularly. With it being not far from my work and the ease of creating a vegan friendly meal, choosing Moe's doesn't require much thought. I typically go for building my own bowl, but the burritos are pretty good too. I stack my bowl with rice, black beans, grilled mushrooms and onions, corn and regular pico, lettuce, fresh cilantro, and pickled jalapeños; sometimes black olives and guac depending on how I feel. I've always liked Moe's for the variety of toppings/fillings they offer. My one pet peeve about Moe's is a messy salsa bar, and this location does a good job of keeping the area around the salsa wiped down and neat. My only complaint about this location is that they could stand to be a little faster at the assembly line, which is probably more noticeable to me since I'm often on limited time when I eat here. read more

If you want service that is extremely lacking in any urgency or teamwork than this is your place. Given two chances, I've noticed team members standing around not helping each other while the person at Station 1 seemed to be the slowest. While they did adhere to the "Welcome to Moe's" mantra you hear from other locations, the work ethic and swiftness of other franchises was severely lacking. The cleanliness of the lobby did help but impatient patrons waiting in line for over twenty minutes did not help their overall image. While the manager did a great job serving me when I waa up, I felt he should have been watching his line to help. When I arrived I had six people in front of me at 12:41 pm. I did not get to Station 1 until 1:17pm. For a Moe's this seems very slow! read more

The food was good, but the restaurant was filthy. Once we sat down we noticed the floors were covered with spilled food. Tables weren't clean. The employees customer service skills were lacking professionalism. One worker in regular street cloths was making is food to go on the serving line with no single use gloves on or hair net. I will make a bowl, instead of the flour shell. This was my first experience with a Moe's here in Alabama. Unfortunately it will most likely be my last. I heard someone yell an underwhelming, "Welcome to Moe's," from across the restaurant so that was nice I guess? The bored looking girl who began making my burrito seemed quite impatient when it came to answering the two simple questions I asked. I haven't been to a Moe's in about 10 years so I wasn't familiar with the menu, but anyway... She began rolling up the burrito, but then stopped to ask someone else to finish rolling it up so she could go to the bathroom. My burrito completely unrolled and some contents fell out. Instead of replacing them the next bored looking guy bunched up what was left of it and had the bored looking cashier ring me up. As for the food, I ended up paying way too much for a small, bland burrito and some stale, greasy chips. So 2/10 recommended read more

The friendliness of the staff is really one of the best parts of dining here! Every time you walk in you will hear a cheerful mixture of " Welcome to Moes!" Which is really great to see people actually welcoming you to a restaurant. First of all, if you don't mind a wait, go on a Monday. 5.75$ for a burrito, or salad, or bowl with chips and salsa. You can't even get fast food at that price. If you can't, get there on a Monday or want to avoid the long lines. Definitely just check it out. The burritos are filled with anything imaginable, and the salsa are fix it yourself. You can always order through the app for pick up. I have order through the app 20+ times and have only had one bad experience, but it was corrected immediately. My favorite go to meal is a steak home wrecker, with rice, black beans, grilled onions, cheese, pico, sour cream, guacamole, fresh jalapeños, the spicy sauce (rock and roll?) and a side of queso. I was really pleased with the customizations as well as the flavor of the food at Moe's. I'm a huge fan of carnitas and haven't had much luck finding them at many of the Mexican food restaurants near by. Moe's carnitas option is very flavorful. They're salsas and chips were also very tasty. I will say that they did get my order incorrect and as it was a Togo order I was unable to get that issue resolved. What I cannot get past is that the salsa bar was a mess, the drink machine was nasty and the floor around it was sticky, the floor around the tables was not clean, and to top it all off they have roaches! well the "Quantity of Food" meter has moved back to STINGY. I always order the same think here, the John Coctostan" quesadilla. The menu says it comes with your choice of meat, cheese, and beans. I tell the guy behind the counter I want a JC with chicken. He pulls the tortilla and flops on the chicken and cheese on top and pushes it to the side. I ask if he's going to add the beans, he tells me "we're not allowed to ask anymore". I had to actually tell him to add the beans. Seriously? My first visit here. It was ok. The employee couldn't seem to answer any of my questions about ingredients or whether something was spicy. She finally says I don't eat here. That response caught me off guard. Not sure if she was new but the other employee was not really helping her. Got a home wrecker burrito. There was so many tomatoes and mushrooms on it that I couldn't taste anything else. She didn't add things proportionately at all. Somethings were piled on while others were given very sparingly. It was our first time and omg..My husband know me so well because I don't eat all the food off my plate when I go out..it's like the first time in history !! Worst Moe's experience I've ever had. The manager was the only on that greeted people with "Welcome to Moe's". The lady at the station one was very nice and consistent person to person. The lady at station 2 was not so consistent. I got a homewrecker which comes with guacamole and she literally put the smallest scoops of everything, but as I watch her on other people's some got more. It's just very upsetting when I pay close to $9 for a burrito and I hardly get veggie that are supposed to be free of charge with some exceptions. Very frustrating. read more

My wife and I went there a couple months ago to check it out. Neither of us had been to a Moes before. We were pleasantly surprised. Really good food at a great price. Came in 30 minutes before they were supposed to close and at least 6 staff members standing in a circle talking. My brother tried to order a quesadilla and was told that the grill was broken. Not a problem as we opted for burritos. The entire line was filthy and the scraps at the bottom of the bins were less than optimal. One nice employee helped us while the rest of the posse gave us death glares. As we were getting our food they could be heard mumbling about how they thought they were closed and a man who I can only assume was in charge for the night shuffled to the door and locked it when according to the signage posted, they were still open for another 20 minutes. We sit down to eat and can not get drinks as it was blocked by two staff members. The salsa bar made me want to gag it was so gross. As we finished up, the grill that was allegedly out of service, magically came to life and it was cleaned for the night. Tried to leave but a locked door doesn't help my mission. I don't expect perfection out of anyone and I understand people get antsy when it gets close to time to leave for the night but what happened tonight was extraordinarily unacceptable. Not bad food my kids love it but I think it is a little pricey for Mexican. Would recommend the wrong Doug if hungry super filling and super good. The bowl is good as well. Do like the salsa bar. So the tofu runs our on my order and my husband wants tofu also the server never bothered to tell anyone that the tofu was out. It was about six people standing there doing NOTHING! When I got to the register I stated my husband wants tofu but there is none left can someone cook some . The manager then say oh so we won't charge him for it. I totally agree with the posters here that write about small portion sizes for the really high prices. My family of four can eat at a really good, sit down Mexican place cheaper than we can at Moe's. Something is wrong with that. Also the Manager I spoke to this evening had absolutely no clue about what she was doing. Even a shift lead should be composed enough to handle 2 people speaking to her at once, but this young woman was very obviously overwhelmed with everything going on around her. My suggestion would be to, at the very least, retrain this "Manager" (I use the term loosely) or replace her with someone that has the composure and skill set that can handle the fast pace of an establishment like Moe's read more

My favorite is the Homewrecker ! A huge burrito with anything you want stuffed into it. Great tasting, nice open atmosphere, and fair price.

I always deal with wonderful staff, it's sensational food (Taco Bell with real ingredients) and they're fairly quick about getting you fed, which is always appreciated. Very clean and Freestyle Coke machine for the win! read more

First time I ever ate at Moe's and was truly disappointed. I read some reviews on here and from what I read I truly expected better. Food was bland, and if you order the tacos tell them to take easy on the toppings. My taco weighed about 6 ounces of meat and pound and a half of toppings that don't even fit on the taco. It's vegetarian friendly too if you're not into meat...my favorite dish is the Band Camp burrito bowl. The guacamole is fantastic! If you want a burrito, Monday is the best day to go, as all burritos are $5.55. There's a salsa bar with an assortment of great salsas and one of those cool soda fountains that lets you blend your soda to order...peach raspberry strawberry Sprite Zero, anyone? It's my favorite place to eat in Madison. Don't forget to put your cell number in the iPad at the register...after ten entries you'll get a free entrée. My family visited here and received terrible service from uncaring employees and encountered a manager who was extremely unwilling to help resolve a simple ordering situation. The quality of food offered was very poor, especially for the price paid. $11 for a salad with guacamole and a handful of wilted iceberg from a bag is not my idea of a good value. The dining room is also quite messy with broken chips all over the floor and seats of the booths. Fortunately there are many other burrito and Mexican restaurants in town with far superior food and cleaner atmospheres. They also represent a much better value. My wife and I are first timers to Moe's and won't return anytime soon. For one thing, the place had the AC on super cold with the ceiling fans going full on. We don't like to eat in a cold environment, especially on a cooler fall evening as it was at our visit. The TVs were blasting out with different ball games, and we had to shout our order to the guy behind the counter. We both ordered the Quesadillas with a side of Chips and queso. They were stingy on the meat, and when I told the guy I didn't want black beans, he went ahead and put them on there anyway. The other fellow at checkout rang up the order and when he swiped my debit card, the receipt printer jammed and we had to stand there for five minutes while he changed out the paper roll. It still wouldn't print out a receipt. The drink bar is self-serve, and not very user friendly, with two different ice dispensers for tea decanters, and soft drinks out of one of those crazy computerized machines with all the different buttons to push for various brands. The lady in front of me got her two kids' drink selections wrong, and went back to the counter to get a different cup, but was told she would have to pay for an additional drink...what a rip-off. The Quesadillas were soggy and the Queso very thin. This place may be slightly a cut above Taco Bell, but not by much, and certainly is more expensive. read more
