    A La Carte Chicken Casadilla

Nice rice and chips were really good too. They put a special seasoning on the chips. Service was great, our waiter made sure we had everything we needed!

Had dinner with some family at this restaurant yesterday and had the worst experience. Not only was our food disgusting we got the most simple things i would say off the menu (2 chicken and rices, and a singular chicken quesadilla) plus we had 2 orders of sweet tea, and margarita with a large side of cheese dip. Not only was our bill with 3 meals on it $85? which the quesadilla wasn't a meal it was ordered by itself. the large queso alone was $16! and when we asked about why it was so expensive since the menu has a different price for the large queso, they told us the charged up for chips and the extra chips? which correct if i'm wrong chips when dining in are free? They also charged us for 2 refills on the sweet tea when we only got one? which WE DIDNT ask for which in the end was $6 worth of tea? (i could buy a gallon of tea for that price)! i would seriously never recommend this place. Not only again, was the food disgusting but for that price i would just go to a 5 restaurant!!!? We got way too many great mexican restaurants for them to be charging that much for mediocre food like that!

Super friendly staff, nice waiter. He refilled our drinks regularly. Salsa and cheese dip were delicious. Food was hot and fresh and was in big portions enough to share. Clean restaurant as well. Definitely recommend!!! 10/10 experience.

Los Arcos serves good tasty food but has zero WOW factor. What pissed me off the most about this place was that they nickel and dime you to death. I wanted a hotter sauce they charged and extra $1.75 cents. Most if not all Mexican restaurants bring this extra hot sauce free. The beans with my lunch was nothing more then bean juice with maybe 5 or 6 pieces of bean. When I told them about it, they graciously brought out a side dish of more bean juice and charged me an additional $1.75 as well. Damn if you are so hard up for money build those costs into the meal. The chicken breast that I had must have come from a midget chicken given it's small size. It was covered albeit with onions, tomatoes and mushrooms in a tasty sauce. I personally do not thing this place is in the top 25 Mexican non chain restaurants in the Huntsville/Madison area. Physical location was clean and inviting but no vibe. I do not think I will be back. This is a once and done for me. Your results may vary.

I did notice it is a smaller sized restaurant and even though they have outside seating, it was too cold this particular evening. However, we were eventually greeted and seated. Since this was our first time here, we asked our waitress for suggestions and she told us they are known for their seafood boils. They do have other dishes, but based on the menu, we decided to go with her suggestion and order a seafood boil which came with corn, potatoes, shrimp with the head off, and 2 clusters of crab legs. Our boil also came with a choice of rice or garlic noodles so we ordered the noodles. We also added an order of sausage to the boil. I believe since they were very busy, it took a while for us to receive our food, but our waitress did a great job of checking in on us while we waited. Once we received our food, it was served hot but it seemed as though the food in the boil was slightly overcooked. The Cap't Loui Canjun seasoning was good but it didn't seep well into the crab legs but it did for the other food items. But of course we had enough sauce in the boil so we used it like a dipping sauce. The garlic noodles were actually delicious. Warning, they are very garlicky as well as the seafood boil. The restaurant appeared to be clean and it was also bright and inviting with the nice music playing overhead. It almost seemed like a big party in there with great vibes. All in all, decent visit today. Even though our food was slightly overcooked, we would revisit in the future.

Something came up making Friday a bad choice, so I made another reservation for Saturday and cancelled the on for Friday. Once again I got a text message for both the Friday cancellation and Saturday booking. The automated replies made it convenient. We arrived a few minutes before or reservation and were seated right away. They were quick to respect my request for a nearby booth, as I have a disability walking. We ordered the steak appetizer roles that were outstanding! My wife ordered a Caesar salad that was huge, along with the filet with a baked potato. When I looked at the menu days prior, I was eyeing the shrimp and grits, but after seeing nearby tables entrees, I quickly ordered the ribeye. Our server, Jesstina was off the wall spectacular! Our appetizer came out quick, and our main course came out soon after we were done enjoying our appetizers. She made sure our every need was taken care of, and her attitude was as if we were her long time friends. We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary of 23 years, and the dining experience was perfect! Spectacular service, an outstanding food selection and a 10 out of 10! This was our first time at this Stoney River, but it won't be the last! And you can rest assured, we'll make sure Jesstina will be our requested server!

It is a great spot for a date night or a special evening out. We started with the crab cake. It was definitely good, flavorful, and nicely prepared, but at 18 dollars for a single crab cake, it felt a little steep. The standout of the night was the Wild Mushroom Meatloaf. It was hearty, well seasoned, and something I would absolutely reorder. We paired it with asparagus and Parmesan fries. The asparagus was fresh and succulently seasoned, cooked just right. The Parmesan fries were crispy and flavorful and made a great complement to the meal. I ordered the London Dip, which had good flavor overall, especially paired with the roasted wild mushrooms. That combination worked well together. However, for the price point, I think next time I might try something else on the menu. It was good, just not quite as memorable as the meatloaf. We also tried the smoked gouda mac and cheese, which was rich and tasty and definitely a solid side option. Overall, Stoney River offers good quality dishes with strong flavors in a classy setting that makes it perfect for date night. A few items feel priced on the higher side, but I would return, especially for that meatloaf.

It was nice to sit and not hear others talking. I ordered the lunch portion of clams with 2 baby red potatoes and a small ear of corn. I asked for the 88 seasoning non spicy. When my food came out in the bag, I realized it would be messy. Part of the novelty must be to put the bib on and dive in which is what I did. My clams were delicious and cooked perfectly. The baby red potatoes and corn sealed my meal at a perfect 5/5!!! Dave had the catfish and fries. When his order came out, I could see the smile he was wearing. The catfish was very hot and he had to wait a few minutes before he took a bite. He said the catfish were awesome and began diving in. He rates the catfish 5/5. Calamari here is not smelly and cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the cocktail sauce served with it with the right amount of horseradish. 5/5 We were hungry and ate before I thought about pictures. I apologize for the few I did get. This was a pleasurable experience and we will definitely be back! Kudos to Pier 88 for a great experience! Y'all come give them a try. The food was plentiful and reasonably priced.
