I highly recommend this termite company!…read more Three weeks ago, we found termite droppings and called for an inspection, Nathan came out for the inspection on an extremely hot day, but he still took his time and carefully checked the entire house, including the very hot attic. He was patient, explained the different treatment options clearly, and even showed us how to tell the difference between termite droppings and droppings from other pests. A week later, Tony and his father came to replace the damaged wood and perform the chemical treatment. They did an excellent job with everything--the wood repairs, painting, and termite treatment were all done very carefully. They also cleaned up all the dust and debris afterward, so we didn't have to clean up anything ourselves. Great work, reasonable pricing, and very professional service. I would definitely recommend them!

Before…read morestarting the service, we used to get quite a few ants and crickets around the house, along with the occasional spider inside. Since using them, I hardly see any insects anymore, so the service has definitely been effective. Their pricing is also very reasonable compared to other pest control companies in the area. Overall, I've been happy with the service and plan to continue using them.

I understand staff changes but I didn't have time or energy to micromanage that process and as a result I had to pay more to use them due to rats returning, it didn't seem to have fixed the problem since I'm having an issue again. The second time I used them, they were more diligent with the scheduling but I still had to remind them at least once to refill the bait boxes or check on them. I will not be using them again.

I have been using Team Champion for years for termite control & I have no plan on stopping . So…read morewhen I seen that I signs of a mouse in the house, I immediately called them. The customer service was amazing, They came right out , literally the next day to inspect & I WAS VERY PLEASED .. I got quoted for the service that was needed , agreed and the guy was able to come the very next day to service me . THE SERVICE: Basically patching up entry ways and setting traps in the attic & garage . THE PRICE: $1800 I know that was ALOT . And once i seen the process i felt played . The guy who came out used Gaps & cracks to seal cracks. YES THE $5 can that was at home depot . The patch work and the service was definitely not worth the price. I was disappointed in the fact that I had to request something more on the lines of cement. For $1800.. top of line the products and procedures should be in place. The ONLY PRO: is the one year warranty. MY ADVICE: call any pest control company , get the free estimate, have a handy man patch you up. & If you're not brave enough, MAYBE call them to set up the traps and poison . MAYBE ... Im sticking beside them for termite control . But this was a veeeery expensive lesson that i hope nobody else has to learn. The ONLY reason this particular service got any stars is because the customer service really is good!

I was provided a rough estimate of the cost at that time. Josh was professional, friendly, and after inspecting the house and the areas of concern, he explained the work to be done and confirmed the price. I appreciate that he didn't try to upsell a recurring maintenance program, and instead told me what to expect and to call in two weeks if the problem wasn't resolved. That was almost a week ago, and everything is great - no ants coming into house, and the price was lower than other quotes I received. I will definitely call him next summer if/when the ants start coming into the house again. Thank you Josh!

When I moved into my new home, I found the outside of the house was littered with all sorts of…read morespiders, including brown widows. I also noticed there were a lot of droppings, which turned out to be rat feces. After contacting multiple pest control vendors in order to take care of the pest infestations, I found Pasadena Pest Control to be the most transparent in pricing, as well as one of the most detailed on what exactly each type of service would consist of. Looking at their website, I had a feeling this company would probably provide excellent services, as it is well laid out and full of information. It includes general information on pests and of course the services they provide to combat them. I opted for their insect service, as well as their rodent service. Karrie did and has been doing a great job communicating with me and scheduling my services. Erik who's been the one conducting the pest control service itself, has been great and has been doing an awesome job. For the rodent service(s), he pointed to and showed me vulnerable spots around my home (including going on the roof) that could lead to a rodent intrusion. After his inspection, he provided a comprehensive and detailed report on what would need to be done to eliminate the infestation. As for the insect service, he also didn't mind answering many of my questions on what I can do myself to help prevent or at least mitigate future infestations. After a few weeks, I've noticed much less rat droppings. One spot that had the biggest rat feces has none after his service. I also haven't seen a brown widow since he sprayed the exterior of my home. And finally, every crawling insect I've seen inside my home since the spraying has been found dead, which means the spray is working. I highly recommend Pasadena Pest Control if you're looking for a pest control service. Thank you Pasadena Pest!

1 Star I had a very…read moredisappointing experience with this company. I was charged without being clearly informed of the cost or authorizing the charge beforehand. Good businesses communicate pricing upfront and obtain customer approval before billing. After disputing the charge, I was threatened with having the account reported to collections and negatively affecting my credit. I also had concerns about whether the service was actually performed as claimed. Because of these concerns, I filed a complaint and requested documentation showing the work that was completed. I believe customers deserve transparency, clear communication, and proof of services before being billed. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

Here's an honest take of pros and cons though: Pros: - Super nice service and the workers who did the tenting portion of the job even did their best to clean up and fix up our landscaping since we had to rake away gravel and mulch to make this work. - Very competitive pricing, and was actually one of the lowest ones we had out of the few companies we quoted. - Billing is via credit card without any fees, so that was a nice change from the typical check asks. Note handled via phone in terms of credit card billing. Cons: - We still had a few broken tree branches after tent removal. Not removing any stars for that, but more of a watch out to any homeowners who have landscaping or are particular with their gardens to be sure to do all the necessary prep work and hire landscapers after the fumigation to ensure everything is back in order, because your landscaping will be changed up for making fumigation work (or at least that's what happened to our house). We had to do some extra work to shovel our zen garden. - Office was fairly hard to get a hold of. Any messages or emails often don't get replied right away.

During the process, I came in contact with about a half dozen team members, all of whom were friendly, professional, and personally concerned with our wellbeing. That was important because I found that ridding a home of rodents is not easily achieved. The initial step was to survey the house, seal potential entry sites, then set the traps. The HS team completed the process and set up an appointment to check the traps. after a couple visits, we still heard the vermin scratching around. So, HS brought in a senior inspector who found a few open areas I never would have thought to identify (openings between the outside wall and the foundation that were tucked up underneath the visible area). Those areas were sealed and within ten days, we no longer heard anything. I check of the traps today revealed a large intruder had been eliminated. Home shield performed like partners in our quest to eliminated rodents from our home. They came back as often as needed without complaint and escalated appropriately to assure our problem was solved. And importantly, they never once questioned our reports of hearing critters.
