I have nothing against NPs or PAs, as I am an FNP myself, which is why I would prefer a physician who is an expert in the field. I was told I would be be seen by a specific physician who had great reviews online. After looking him up, I was very excited. I then received two follow-up text messages to confirm my appointment with this specific physician. One text confirmation was 15 minutes prior to my appointment. When I arrived they took my payment and then proceeded to inform me that I would be seen by an NP. When I asked where the physician was, they said he did not even work for the company anymore!! I was livid. I took off work and rearranged my whole schedule for nothing. Lastly, they advertise that insurance covers the cost of their services which is not true. It's cash pay for the required ultrasound which is $300 and thousands more for their treatments. I walked out. I will take my buisness elsewhere.

That said Dr. Bonavita is truly gifted. It was something I don't find in doctors. Bottom line I wouldn't hesitate to send a family member to them. In fact I gave their card to my cardiologist who also has veracious veins. Who knows?!?

After going to the ER because it swelled out of the blue, I was told by the ER doctor I needed a total knee replacement a long time ago. Got home and started my first therapy session on the ROMTECH bike. Recovery went quickly and almost painless. He stayed in contact with me during recovery. At my first post op appointment, they took exrays of my knee and I was good to go. Right knee.. drove five days after replacement. walked without assistance. For six months I have experienced numbness and tingling in my foot and the lower part of my left leg from these procedures. I remember exactly when it happened with my foot. The doctor was putting a hot wire close to my heel and I was an agony. She did it three more times. I suspect she damaged the nerve but told me it would go away. It hasn't. I don't know if it ever will. I regret it. Now I have to find somewhere else to actually finish the spider vein work. I am not comfortable going back to this business. I spent a lot of money and I'm not happy. They billed my insurance but neglected to tell me I had $2700 out-of-pocket co-pay after numerous procedures, plus $400 per session for spider veins and was told not to come back for three months. I wore compression stockings for months throughout the summer. It's not worth it. I'm not happy. I'm not sure what to do. I drove well over 1000 miles back-and-forth to the office two and three times a week.

Extremely disappointed with my experience at Atlas Neurosurgery and Spine Center. They went ahead…read moreand scheduled an appointment for me after confirming that they accepted my insurance, only to later cancel the appointment without any notification whatsoever. I had to call myself just to figure out what was going on. What makes this even more frustrating is their policy regarding secondary insurance. They accept one of my primary insurance plans, but because I also have a secondary insurance as backup in case the first doesn't fully cover something, they suddenly refused to see me as a patient altogether. It makes absolutely no sense to deny someone coverage that you already stated you accept simply because they have additional coverage. The lack of communication, professionalism, and consistency was incredibly frustrating--especially when dealing with serious health concerns where time and clarity matter.
