Limited parking in front. Enjoyed my sourdough pizza with red sauce and a flat white. Very friendly

Food and bread is good. But they don't know how to make proper espresso drinks. I ordered a cappuccino and received was nothing like a real cappuccino. To the people of this business- please take the time to properly train your baristas! If you list a cappuccino on the menu, it should be a real cappuccino.

I stumbled upon this restaurant while looking up recommended places to get breakfast in Chestertown. After wandering around the Chestertown farmers market we popped in for breakfast. This restaurant is health conscious and offers scratch-made foods. I love that all ingredients are sourced locally and the meals are made fresh. That being said, it is clearly a local favorite. As the line often spills out the door. You order up at the front and food runners bring you trays to your table. There are lots of tables out back but I'd recommend getting there early to secure seating. The interior is clean and service was quite friendly. I got the MSAK breakfast sandwich on a bagel. It was the best bagel I have ever eaten. The sandwich is small but I enjoyed every last bite. I regret not buying a dozen bagels to take home with me! You also can't go wrong with any of their pastries, we enjoyed a variety of them. If you're in the area you definitely have to check this place out!

The scratch made concept and caring workers seems obvious in this place. Was nice to visit, could use bigger portions or lower prices. Some context... ...I stopped in with my kids and we ordered 3 sandwiches, 1 beer, and it was $65 before tip. (and it's an order at the counter place.) Now, to be fair one of the sandwiches had the side of soup option for $3.50 and one of the sandwiches had meat added. But, after tip we did pay over $75 for three sandwiches and left hungry. It seems like the Paninis were the go-to sandwich of the day. It was very good, could have used more meat/cheese to fill it out. The focaccia caprese was good, but also seemed like I was paying full price for half a portion. I do get that making things from scratch and paying a living wage to your employees costs money... just fill out the plates with the less expensive ingredients. Or just make the sides bigger if it costs too much to make the sandwiches larger. . That said.... Super friendly. Cute place. Great draft beer option (they just had 1). We saw coffees come out and they looked like normal sizes at normal coffee shop prices. Will come back to try the breakfast/brunch menu.

Good food. Good service. Neat concept. Not a lot of indoor seating (which is fine during the warmer months), but we were able to sit together. It has a kind of group seating feel. The place smells great and the breads are delish. We had sandwiches and all were enjoyed. We also bought a loaf of bread on the way out. We'll be back.

A wonderful service staff greeted me and helped me with both food options and small requests for water and utensils. The recipes weren't just tasty, weren't, just homemade, but were genuinely unique. The best description would be truly natural, Autumn inspired flavors with a deep authenticity to the aftertaste. The mustard was especially well done, tangy and not too overpowering. Overall, truly deserving of the reputation it has.

Love love love! We came in for a little snack and couldn't have been happier. The space itself is bright and has a variety of excellent indoor and outdoor seating options. They have a variety of drinks to choose from, including Georgian amber wine! So tasty! I ended up getting a pretzel. It came with some spicy mustard and the combination was perfect. My companion got a roast beef sandwich and I tried it and it was so delicious. The bread is absolutely divine. The staff are friendly and helpful. The experience was cheery and warm. You should definitely check this place out!

This is one of our favorite spots in C-town. Especially when we can sit outside. We had lunch today which was excellent. We ordered the chicken salad sandwich with fermented potato chips and the roast beef sandwich with cole slaw. Both were excellent. We also had a bottle of white wine. The wine selection is very limited (2 choices) but it was very good. We brought our dog with us and she loved the patio. They have cooking classes which I really want to do! The owner is so proud of this place and always willing to tell you all about it! Can't wait to go back!!

This place never disappoints me. I always try to get something new when I go. I always get a pretzel but they only make so many so I didn't get one recently. I love anything sourdough because of this place and my sensitivity stomach appreciates it. I finally tried the chicharrones as a side with my sandwich and they were so good I ordered some to go. I really do enjoy coming here, when I can. Everyone is always so warm and friendly. They have an outside eating area as well for those who like to be outside to eat. Worth the try in my experience.

Weeks ago, I fell upon a video highlighting this gold mine. I was delighted to learn that one of the healthiest restaurants in the COUNTRY is just a scenic 75-minute drive away. My work week is now filled with anticipation, and gratitude for the weekend where I can relish in clean foods made with patience, love and intention. Their food saves lives. Come and participate in nourishing your body with foods the land intended. The benefits are in health, and wellness.

The menu features bialis, bagels, Belgian waffles, quiche, breakfast wraps, smoothies, and other breakfast/lunch eats. We ordered: +the Cappy, which was a biali with egg, cheese, and sausage - the biali itself was chewy, but not in a good way; the fillings were also not warm +a Frittata, which had swiss cheese, egg, and Canadian bacon; this was super cold in the middle When we notified the staff that the items were cold, they apologized; rather than reheating it in the oven or remaking the items, it was off to the microwave they went (we heard the beep); this resulted in the food being rubbery and dried out. We had already lost our appetite, so the food was pushed off to the side. They did run out of the Mylita's Quiche (containing crab, shrimp, and cheeses), which supposedly is their famous item that gets sold out fast - at first, I was sad that we missed out on this, but after having our meal, not so much. There were some random kitschy gifts that you can purchase, mostly seasonal items, before they closed for the winter. I'm glad I was able to give this place a try, but wouldn't return. +cold/improperly 'heated' food +friendly staff +little 'store' with various seasonal items +closes for the winter +limited spots in private gravel lot

The server (Kyle) was terrific. He kept our water glasses full and provided suggestions/recommendations. The food we had was good. We started with a bowl of tomato crab bisque. The bisque is really thick, with a rich tomato taste and bits of crab in every mouthful. My partner and I split the bowl. It's really rich and very filling. My partner got the house salad with crab cake ($11 for the crab cake). What? They are from Maryland but they are having Crab cake in Pennsylvania? Are they mad? No, it's a really good crab cake for that price point. Lots of crab and the cake was prepared well. No regrets! I had the turkey Reuben with fries. Delicious. I like that the fries are hand cut. Good texture, not oily. A good amount of turkey in the sandwich. Really good sandwich overall. Looking at surrounding tables, other sandwiches and items looked good. The whole experience - food, service and atmosphere - was great. Highly recommend this spot. Sadly, too full for ice cream. : (

On one hand I want to try again for dinner but for the price, I'm not sure it's worth it. Pros: Amazing service - very attentive server(s); we had one in training/shadowing and she was just as good as our primary server, offering refills, clearing plates, overall greet banter Cocktails are fantastic - had the Minnie Ripperton and loved it - creamy yet refreshing and bright which is a tough combo to achieve Cons: Hidden entrance - after circling what looked like an abandoned building 2x we finally figured out the entrance was in the backy and down a set of stairs. I now understand the "speakeasy vibe" but the clutter in the front made the building look abandoned or under construction; not a great start to the experience for us Food service - the other couple we were dining with got their entrees about 10 minutes before ours and we were some of the first orders & diners of the day. Usually you might hold the whole table or refire some of the dishes so it all comes out at the same time. They finished theirs before we even got our to start, making it a strange eating experience Small print menu - with the low light of the speakeasy, the menu had the teeeeniest print I've ever seen making it very difficult to read the menu options. We also didn't realize that the menu changes/is seasonal (not called out on the website) so many of the items we had wanted to try were not an available option. I love a menu that changes but hope it's indicated on the website (aka: sample menu, subject to seasonal change) Hit-n-miss: Fried chicken Benedict- huge portions, amazing biscuits and perfectly poached (but unseasoned?) eggs. I don't know if the hollandaise soaked into the fried chicken or never existed at all - and that's the thing you want with a Benedict. If it existed, it never reached the biscuits because while they were good, but were completely dry Shrimp and grits - perfectly cooked, great consistency, but very under-seasoned Water - just an observation and maybe it's just the local tap water flavor but it tasted off or as off the soap hadn't been washed from the glasses Pro Tip: be aware of the automatic gratuity in some circumstances; if you don't know, check the website before your meal!

I made a takeout order and got the crab cake omelette (w/ a biscuit) $18.29, legendary scone: Blueberry $3, single blueberry pancake $2.89, single maple bacon pancake $2.89, and single cinnamon roll pancake $2.89. - The crab cake omelet was my 2nd favorite as they surprisingly didn't skimp on the crab additions. The biscuit was just alright, but luckily it's best once combined with omlette to make a good sandwich. - The blueberry scone was probably my favorite, as it was pretty good. It was moist, fresh, and well done. - The trifecta of pancakes ranged from just okay to decent, and my ranking would go blueberry, maple bacon, and then cinnamon roll. For some odd reason, the texture of the cinnamon roll pancake was notably inferior to the other 2. Overall, my experience was quite a good one due to the scone and crab omelet delivering the most. -- #issa.cheatday
