I have used Happy chicken for two occasions. Both time's excellent service and food. The cheesecake is the best.

Great sandwiches. Yummy chips. Farm fresh eggs to take home later. Kids loved eating here.

This incredible grilled sandwich is on their in-house made bread (yum!) overflows with ham and toasted pork, creamy Swiss cheese, yellow mustard and (my fav) pickles!

I hate to do this to you, Muskrat Alley Cafe, but you were a complete letdown!…read more Honestly, we drove all the way to check out this place because I fell in love with their muskrat logo and the menu looked simple and delicious! The menu features bialis, bagels, Belgian waffles, quiche, breakfast wraps, smoothies, and other breakfast/lunch eats. We ordered: +the Cappy, which was a biali with egg, cheese, and sausage - the biali itself was chewy, but not in a good way; the fillings were also not warm +a Frittata, which had swiss cheese, egg, and Canadian bacon; this was super cold in the middle When we notified the staff that the items were cold, they apologized; rather than reheating it in the oven or remaking the items, it was off to the microwave they went (we heard the beep); this resulted in the food being rubbery and dried out. We had already lost our appetite, so the food was pushed off to the side. They did run out of the Mylita's Quiche (containing crab, shrimp, and cheeses), which supposedly is their famous item that gets sold out fast - at first, I was sad that we missed out on this, but after having our meal, not so much. There were some random kitschy gifts that you can purchase, mostly seasonal items, before they closed for the winter. I'm glad I was able to give this place a try, but wouldn't return. +cold/improperly 'heated' food +friendly staff +little 'store' with various seasonal items +closes for the winter +limited spots in private gravel lot

It is an unassuming restaurant with a decent amount of seating space both inside and outside. Very clean but nothing fancy which is fine with me as long as the service and the food is good and boy did they deliver on that part. We were seated quickly on a Saturday morning and almost immediately greeted by a very friendly server. We ordered omelets with potatoes and onions and the cinnamon role pancakes. Everything was delicious. The portions on the potatoes were great, although my husband would have preferred them crispier the server told him to ordered them deep fried next time. All of the food was excellent and the pancake was to die for, every bit was a pleasure. I loved this place, it was everything I want in a great breakfast and I will defiantly be back.

Such a mixed review & experience. We made reservations for Sunday brunch and glad we did as the…read moreplace got crowded quickly. On one hand I want to try again for dinner but for the price, I'm not sure it's worth it. Pros: Amazing service - very attentive server(s); we had one in training/shadowing and she was just as good as our primary server, offering refills, clearing plates, overall greet banter Cocktails are fantastic - had the Minnie Ripperton and loved it - creamy yet refreshing and bright which is a tough combo to achieve Cons: Hidden entrance - after circling what looked like an abandoned building 2x we finally figured out the entrance was in the backy and down a set of stairs. I now understand the "speakeasy vibe" but the clutter in the front made the building look abandoned or under construction; not a great start to the experience for us Food service - the other couple we were dining with got their entrees about 10 minutes before ours and we were some of the first orders & diners of the day. Usually you might hold the whole table or refire some of the dishes so it all comes out at the same time. They finished theirs before we even got our to start, making it a strange eating experience Small print menu - with the low light of the speakeasy, the menu had the teeeeniest print I've ever seen making it very difficult to read the menu options. We also didn't realize that the menu changes/is seasonal (not called out on the website) so many of the items we had wanted to try were not an available option. I love a menu that changes but hope it's indicated on the website (aka: sample menu, subject to seasonal change) Hit-n-miss: Fried chicken Benedict- huge portions, amazing biscuits and perfectly poached (but unseasoned?) eggs. I don't know if the hollandaise soaked into the fried chicken or never existed at all - and that's the thing you want with a Benedict. If it existed, it never reached the biscuits because while they were good, but were completely dry Shrimp and grits - perfectly cooked, great consistency, but very under-seasoned Water - just an observation and maybe it's just the local tap water flavor but it tasted off or as off the soap hadn't been washed from the glasses Pro Tip: be aware of the automatic gratuity in some circumstances; if you don't know, check the website before your meal!

Totally worth trying and you will leave soo full. The server was nice and this place was jamming all night. Very tight inside so definitely a cool date spot. It's dark in here, like old people with the phone flashlight dark but I didn't mind honestly. The only thing that threw me off was this bathtub drink... You won't finish your food but you'll be excited for left overs !

Sunday 1/11/26 Once…read moreagain, another spot that I found with the help of yelp as the high ratings & reviews definitely gained my attention. I made a takeout order and got the crab cake omelette (w/ a biscuit) $18.29, legendary scone: Blueberry $3, single blueberry pancake $2.89, single maple bacon pancake $2.89, and single cinnamon roll pancake $2.89. - The crab cake omelet was my 2nd favorite as they surprisingly didn't skimp on the crab additions. The biscuit was just alright, but luckily it's best once combined with omlette to make a good sandwich. - The blueberry scone was probably my favorite, as it was pretty good. It was moist, fresh, and well done. - The trifecta of pancakes ranged from just okay to decent, and my ranking would go blueberry, maple bacon, and then cinnamon roll. For some odd reason, the texture of the cinnamon roll pancake was notably inferior to the other 2. Overall, my experience was quite a good one due to the scone and crab omelet delivering the most. -- #issa.cheatday

Place your order, pay and get a number then grab a seat. Breakfast on the waterfront is whats here, with a few seats inside. Some benches are outside as well down by the waters edge and marina. It was a nice sunny morning on our visit so we grabbed a bench outside and waited for our number. Biscuits and gravy with two eggs over medium, the biscuits were good and the gravy better than average and its pretty hard to mess up a couple eggs. All in all a decent enough breakfast. The location makes this place what it is, a waterfront breakfast joint. Small interior, busy and not much of a place to sit and enjoy other than outside. The line moves pretty quick. 3.5 Stars rounded up for the locale 01108
