I got a gel manicure and it started chipping 5 days in. And only one nail tech can only dip or acrylic nails. She did not take care of my cuticles as well. I did like the hearts she drew on my nails for valentines though. Expensive nails for lasting less than a week. I will not return. read more

Laura was amazing, super friendly and personable. I can honestly say this was the best mani & pedi I've ever gotten. I did dip mani and gel pedi. My feet have never been so soft - she took the time to massage and scrub my feet and legs - literally told me to take a nap! I also loved her attention to detail - she filed underneath my fingernails of dip and got rid of excess. It was a bit pricey but being pampered for two hours was worth it. Super relaxing experience and I will definitely be back! read more

I'm really not pleased with this salon. My regular salon was booked up and I needed to get my nails done so I came here for a gel manicure. First of all my nail technician, Jason, was extremely rude to me and every time I asked questions he looked up at me and answered sarcastically in a very patronizing way. At one point I asked him not to dremel my nails too thin and he said that he wouldn't (rudely) but he completely destroyed my nails that I had been growing out and made them paper thin! He filed my nails into a CROOKED shape the the nail art was badly done and not even. The cuticle was rough and not at all cleaned up and he got polish on the edges. Not even three days after my gel manicure, one of my nail tips completely snapped off. Two more of my nails have a break in the side and are on the verge of coming off completely. Don't go here! Terrible! Only deserves one star because the place was impeccably clean. read more

I want to give an honest review since that is what I have been looking for while searching for a nail salon in the area. Both my friend and I got a mani pedi. My friend was first brought to the massage chair next to me. After taking off her socks and shoes, she was told to come over to the table to get a manicure instead. No help was given bringing her stuff over and the staff member Amh just laughed at the change of plans. Then Anh did not clean up any of my friends cuticles and applied the dip nails without the glossy finish. She sent my friend over to get a pedicure. After about a half hour of my friend getting her pedicure Amh came over and started laughing because my friend thought her manicure was finished, and then did apply the glossy finish. My friend and I did laugh later because it felt like Amh pranked her but it was a weird, uncomfortable situation. Then the pedicures.... Oh boy... so we both paid a whopping $55 each for the special cherry blossom bomb pedicure. Both of our primary goal of feeling relaxed. I had the owner, Jason and she had a young staff worker named Kenny. I wish I was exaggerating when I say Kenny did not massage my friend. When it came to the massage portion, Kenny rubbed his hand back and forth on the same portion of my friends leg and foot to the point where it not only didn't feel good but started to hurt. I've gotten many pedicures before and I've never seen a nail tech who didn't know how to give a massage. The bottom of her foot was never touched either. And my poor friend paid almost double what a normal pedicure would cost for this. Very disappointing. My pedicure wasn't great either. Jason was very rough when sanding down my foot. I was cringing while he was doing it and then he ripped off some of my skin in the process. My skin stung when put back in the foot soak and for the remainder of the pedicure. It honestly still stings and I am going to have to put a bandaid on it before my heels for my event tomorrow. I understand accidents happen but this was not even addressed or cared for. On top of that Jason insisted that I get a gel pedicure which hiked up my already high pedicure price. Last, I finished off with acrylic nails and a dip manicure. Mind you, I did not ask for a dip manicure but Jason insisted on that as well. Telling me there was not much of a price difference but not telling me the prices... I asked for a specific picture of what I wanted and Jason kept pushing for another option saying what I wanted was not practical. I wanted two thin gold lines. Jason was saying that the lines would come off and that I should just do a thicker gold tip. I finally agreed after disputing it for a while. Again, no care for my cuticles were taken. Jason, kept saying I was making his job harder because I was not relaxing my hand enough and then told me I was finished when there was dry glue still left all over my hand and provided me with no lotion. I wish I had taken a picture of it. It wasn't that the glue was hard to take off, it was the lack of care and professionalism taken. (Also, the chairs for the manicures are deep set, so your back will not be touching it while getting a manicure. You will be hunched forward and very uncomfortable during your manicure regardless of who you have helping you.) Both my friend and I felt as though our nails look fine at the end of the day. I wouldn't say I got what I asked for but what I received was fine. The low review is due to my beat up ankle, my friend's "massage", pushy staff and the overall lack of costumer care. I never get anything crazy with my nails, so customer service is a high priority to me because most places can do basic nails fine. Modern nails is kept very clean and that was nice but they have a ways to go with how they treat costumers. I also wanted to throw in here that there were multiple songs that had unfiltered curse words playing over the sound system. It is not a big deal to me personally, but I would never want to bring kids in there with me for that reason alone. Then adding everything else on top of that. I think this salon has potential but really wanted to share this review as accountability. read more

I went in to have my brows done and my toenails painted. They didn't have the color I asked for so the lady brought a neon orange. (Since I asked for something in the orange family. Really???) Another lady came to ask me to pay for the bill (while she was still painting my toenails.) She said it was $12 for brows and $15 for removing my (regular - not gel) polish and painting a new color. I thought that was pricey, but I was in a hurry and I should have asked for prices first. I gave her my credit card and she brought my receipt charging me $20 for the color change instead of $15. When I told her she quoted me $15 she said "she forgot it was $20." She had already run the card and she wasn't about to give me the $5. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. read more

The pedicures are okay. However for the second time, and we've only used them twice, we made appointments for two people but only one person was done at a time. When I made the last appointment I specifically asked "these will be done at the same time, correct? Well I'm sitting in a chair at 11:40. They started my pedicure 20 minutes late and still have not started the other. I get some things are out of their control but no communication was made that they were shorthanded and no real apology has been made. This will be our last visit. They basically ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing treat. Update: We left before they could even do the second pedicure and mine turned out only semi-okay. Horrible experience. read more

my first experience here was so bad, the place is beautiful I got there at 5, did my feet my mom did tips, and I wanted some as well they first tried to charge me for long nails when it was as short as anything, secondly, if you knew doing acrylics would take long past closing as a worker you should've known best, now their rushing doing my nails, which looks disgusting then these little girls really had nerve to tell me after I spend 175 and tipped that I couldn't dry my nails because their closed like really? they kept being obnoxious bothering the guy that was doing my nails, and just being rude. first and last time they'll take my hard earned money read more
