I needed a pedicure really bad and I was doing a lot of traveling and I just happened to find this place in North Hollywood and my God is it like curious it has a really wonderful waiting area or you can sit on the worlds most comfortable couches while you wait, and they have a ton of stylist, so the weight is never long I was fortunate enough to pay for the deluxe pedicure, which included the callouses and gel. The total was $100 but it was well worth it took your time and was very thorough and I was comfortable to the point of sleeping you tell everyone else is very happy to be there . Stay here for a long time my feet feel so much better !!!
I had the most luxurious experience here at Modern Pamper Salon. I called in to book at appointment and the guy at reception, Soren, was kind enough to squeeze me in before they closed. When i came in, i was shown to the beverage & food bar where they offered mimosas, champagne, soda, chocolate milk, coffee, you name it. They also had little treats like M&Ms or bars to snack on. Once I was seated, Soren brought me a glass of mango mimosa and a freshly warm chocolate chip cookie. Kayla is the sweetest and thoughtful nail tech. She carried a conversation with me throughout and made sure i was comfortable in my seat while Vicky worked on my pedicure. Everyone seems very nice and welcoming. They have so many colors to choose from. My Gel X was $85 using DND boston university red (my fav) and my gel pedicure was $60. Reasonable prices with the amenities and top notch quality. It makes sense why all the celebs are coming here. They also offer car wash at their complimentary valet parking lot behind the salon, i attached the menu below. Overall, one, if not my favorite nail salon!
Salon: Ok the salon itself is clean and nice with plenty of stations. Modern music playing in the background. Service: Requested a regular pedi/gel manicure. Quality of the gel mani is just ok, $50. The manicurist left paint on my fingers, filed my nails really roughly and her vibe was just off! She seemed rushed and yet there was no one else waiting. I really liked my pedi, $45 (I think), the lady was kind, but also seemed over it. To sum it up: I honestly only went here because it was convenient at the time. I wanted to like it because they are open until 8pm. I ignored the reviews and I'll likely never come back here. It's wayyyy too pricey for just an ok experience... $95 for a regular pedi and gel manicure, no design, just regular color. NOPE! Not worth it.
I think this is a very nice looking nail salon with a beautiful aesthetic. Unfortunately, the reasons for my low review, is ultimately the lack of attention when it comes to the actual work that is being done. Upon being seated and having my nails done I'm told that there's an additional charge due to the length of my nails. I asked how much and it was an up charge of $10 (isn't much) but they dubbed it being more since my nails are long even though they are my natural nails, no acrylic or extension etc. if you want a design, it's $5-$10 per nail, which is a bit ridiculous. The person doing my nails was extremely kind but ultimately mentioned that the price change and being a bit more expensive than the standard nail salon was because it was of a greater quality. I didn't question it until the very end. An hour into my nails being done, packed up and ready to go, I have $30 nails at the cost of $70 and the following day they had peeled off and had nail polish fading from the sides, bubbles all throughout, and the polish had been uneven all over. If I'm spending $70 on a nail set, I would expect a $70 quality set but ultimately, I was deeply disappointed and overall, just upset that I was lied to over a service being provided.
So happy I finally decided to come here. I booked with Louis. He was amazing! I got gel- x with a jade design and diamond gel polish for the glittery green. I included a photo without and with flash so you can see the diamond polish in the light. Louis was very fast and nice to talk to. I came in only knowing I wanted Jade and I trusted Louis to design the rest. Loved what he did! I highly recommend booking with him for your next visit to the nail salon. Notes: - Book in advance if you want Louis to do your nails. You'll get luckily occasionally, but it is very rare to get in with Louis without booking a few days in advance. *I'd say, book at least 4/5 days in advance. - If you know you want designs make sure to let them know when booking your appt. so they can allow enough time for your nail tech to do what you want. (They will say, "No" to designs if they don't have time and you didn't tell them in advance) - Complimentary VALET with option to get your car washed/ detailed in back *BRING CASH TO TIP!
The whole vibe of this place is amazing, The people there are so sweet, had a bar and made fresh cookies. Louis is who did my nails got them done in about 30 minutes. He's fast, neat and detailed. He did exactly what I showed him from the photo. Will be coming back.

I have been to this place once before per the recommendation of my friend. My most recent and second visit, however, has led to me getting fungus/discoloration on my thumb after getting Gel X that cost me about 150 just to end up with my thumb looking disgusting when I took off the Gel X. To get this infection means they do not clean their nail instruments properly. I am greatly disappointed in the waste of money. I will never be back!

I have been going here for years. They changed their scheduling system and you cannot call and schedule an appointment. This has made it difficult and frustrating to make an appointment. They scheduled my appointment and then 30mins before changed the time. When I called the guy who I think is the owner was sarcastic to me. I spend hundreds of dollars on my nails. While they are rather expensive, the nail design is great. However, I am not paying top dollar for someone to be rude to me. Scheduling should be easy and people should be polite. Got the cateye nails of my dreams by Sandy! They sparkle and are sooo pretty. The light reflection is 10/10. Great service and they have free valet parking. Also have the cutest toes thanks to Hailey (not pictured, sorry no free feet pics here). Will def come back read more

Bad customer service. They rush through your nails and didn't even clean the excess polish that was on my fingers from a dip removal. I had to ask to have it taken off while the manicurist was dismissive about it saying they couldn't "see" it. I was assured that the gel polish was stronger than the dip. I agreed to change from originally wanting dip. Cut to, less than 24 hours later my polish on my right index finger chips then the nail breaks. I call to have it fixed not apologetic just state their policy and schedule me an appointment for a polish change the following day. By the next day three of my other nails have chipped and broken. read more
I really wanted to like this place. The first time I went to the salon I had Lily. She was great and my nail design was perfect. It took a long time because they don't do mani/pedis at the same time but otherwise I was happy. The second time I went in, I called ahead and made an appointment. I asked for Lily again and I was told she doesn't do appointments but if she's there I can request her. Not quite sure what that means? Anyway, I show up at my appointment time and had to wait 45 minutes. I asked for nude nails and gold hearts. I showed a photo (attached) and she said she could do that. Well, she starts by painting my nails pink. Then when it came time to do the gold hearts, they didn't have gold nail polish. Only gold glitter. She couldn't figure out what to do so she asked a colleague who told her to use foil. Something she had clearly never done before. I was trying to be patient and give her the benefit of the doubt that they would come together in the end. They didn't (see attached photos) I had dinner plans and had already been at the salon for over 2 hours so I just said thank you and went on my way. I got home and was so annoyed I called and told the owner. The owner was very nice and understood. He rescheduled me for the next day at 1pm. He told me he scheduled me with their gel nail expert. I arrived the next day at 1255 and waited 35 minutes before I was helped. Then I was taken to a table by the same lady who did my nails the day before to then explain to her that I didn't like them and wanted them redone. Talk about awkward. After she attempted to take off the polish, she couldn't get it with the device she was using so she put acetone and cotton under a piece of foil. Seemed normal, right? No. When I finally was helped the person who helped me was shocked that nothing even came off because the first person didn't score it right. I'm then sitting there waiting for the "gel nail expert" but at this point I've been at the salon for an hour and really have gotten nowhere. The "expert" was still in the middle of another manicure and wasn't going to be done any time soon. I got up and asked the front desk girl if I could please just get the rest of my nail polish taken off and to get my money back. I had a very important doctors appointment and had to leave within the next hour. She told me they didn't do refunds and I had to wait.. While I was speaking with the front desk girl, another employee volunteered to do my nails. She was wonderful and really stepped up. She is the ONLY reason I'm giving two stars. I can't believe their customer service. They really don't care how long they make you wait, even when you're there for their mistake. I wasn't the only one with an issue with their timing either. While I was there a customer walked out because she was waiting 1 hour and 15 mins past her appointment and everyone else was annoyed. Oh, and this place is SOOOO expensive. I understand that you can't expect great results if you don't pay for a good service but at $7 per nail for a design on top of their already high prices, go somewhere else who is less expensive and appreciates your time. read more

First off, I've been coming here for years. Never had an issue until recently. I went here back in January to get a NEW set. I even requested this on the phone. Katy, the girl I usually work with said not to get a new set and that I'd be fine with my old one. I even said my nails feel thin and brittle and she reassured me not to get a new set. Not even a week later, I wake up to a broken nail, legit broken in half. And I feel my skin tugging which made the pain worse. A few hours later I'm brushing my teeth and another nail breaks but this time not 100% in half cuz my SKIN is literally coming off. The nail on this finger broke super low to where my skin was coming off with the nail and I started bleeding and burning really really bad. It was raining and I had to fix my nail and glue it at a nail salon near me and I was literally screaming and crying from the pain in the car ride there. I called and spoke to the owner and he said I could come in and Katy would fix my nails and give me a new set. 1. When katy saw my nails she didn't apologize, I even showed her photos of my nail bleeding from where my skin was coming off and she laughed/no apology 2. She didn't even take her time fixing my nails, she rushed them and didn't even file them all to be equal sizes as she normally would. Super unhappy with how my nails look now, they're ALL unevenly shaped Fast forward to today, my mom got her nails done by Katy and Katy cut my mom's finger with the nail filer. My mom mentioned it to her and Katy threw a tantrum at the salon and told my mom that me and her "always complain and come late". Mind you, we are the customer and she's complaining about US when she literally injured me. I almost had to go to the ER because of how badly my skin was ripping off and bleeding. This is unacceptable. When you ruin a client's nails it is YOUR duty to make it right. When you injure a client's hands it is YOUR duty to make it right. So disappointed. If you go here, DO NOT WORK WITH KATY. She has a horrible attitude, she throws tantrums and she's rude. And she's ALWAYS 20-30 min late but has the audacity to say that we are late when she has maybe been on time literally once or twice. Moral of the story, do not work with Katy!!!!! Look at the photos for reference. My nail is legit bleeding in them. You can see the blood in the second photo where my skin is tearing off. read more

Exceptional experience here on a busy Friday afternoon. I am a hand model, and I booked a last minute job so I needed a picture perfect manicure on the fly. Linda was my nail technician and she shaped my nails PERFECTLY. I needed a very specific clean look, just a manicure- NO polish. The front desk manager communicated this to Linda before I even saw her. Thank you! Manicure total was $32 because I got a paraffin wax. Thanks Modern Pamper- you guys killed it. read more

Unfortunately disappointed. I was overcharged. I got gelx with a gold French tip. I was charged $175. When I realized what happened I called them two days later to ask how much is a gelx with French tip and the lady said $109. So I explained to her I was there a couple days before and was charged $175. She said that the gold color is $70. I didn't want to fight with her, I just won't be coming back. Very very disappointing they would rather over charge for $70 than keep a good returning customer. read more

Really good place if you want quick and pretty nail art some techs are really great with how they sculpt the nails shapes and forms but some only seem to specialize on the nail art so if you care ask the ladies upfront or on the phone who they would recommend but those ones are slightly harder to get a hold of most the time they can take you the same day. They do pedicures flawlessly all of them. I took my sister in law here once and the lady doing her manicure was pretty rough and left her bleeding but the manicure was still pretty and this place is still my backup for a quick mani or pedi read more

This is place is a total RIP OFF! they charged me $175 for a medium gel x with chrome not even any design. (Not including gratitude) They didn't even bother to clean my nails right also the design I showed them was totally something else. Just because few celebrities and fake IG models go there, they think they are the s***. read more

Do they have liquor?
Not like hard liquor, I recall having a cup of tea and being offered coffee. They might have like champagne or box wine but not 100% sure
How are we suppose to get ahold of your salon if your phone is disconnected ? Is there another way to schedule an appt?
Do they do dipping powder manicures? if so, how much does it cost?
No they don't do dip powder, just gel manicures. They can do polygel which is a softener alternative for acrylics
Is this the salon were Kendall and Kylie Jenners + all the Kardashians and Bella Hadid comes to get their nails done?
Employees here do house calls for them.
Can yall do nail designs like a playboy bunny or the louis vuitton logo?
They can pretty much do anything! It's a great place!
How much for a manicure and pedicure?
