    We have ordered cookies for a few corporate events and modern bite was by far the best to work with (both quality and customer service). There were some issues with USPS making the delivery for our event on time and modern bite made us a new order the morning of to make sure we had them. They looked SO good. Can't say enough good things, we will definitely use them for our local events in the future!!

    Five stars again! I came back to Modern Bite for some custom birthday cookies, and wasn't sure how they'd fare with a full on photo instead of just a logo. And they managed to deliver yet again.     I had Modern Bite cookies made with photos of the characters in my new children's picture book. They are absolutely perfect! What a beautiful job they did with the 4 different photos.     These cookies stole the show at our recent magazine launch event. They came out much better than expected and size of the cookies were very nice. The packaging and the box they came in were quite sturdy, I dropped a box and not one broken cookie. We had nothing but rave reviews all through out the night. Our executives loved the look and the taste was great as well. Really appreciated how they went above and beyond to send a sample, asked me about the fonts & lettering, really appreciated the detail. There was a small hiccup w the pick up date but nothing that they didn't remedy right away. The only thing I could ask for is maybe a vegetarian/vegan option in the future but all said and done, these cookies were just perfect! Thank you Modern Bite!

    THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!! When I thought my grandkids bday party would be ruined because my usually cookie person could not make the cookies last minute, Modern Bites stepped in and not only did they make some AMAZING cookies, they did so in less than 24 hours and gave me a few extra for free!!!!     I highly recommend Modern Bite. I had a last minute project for them where I needed 150 customized cookies shaped and printed like a book for my clients book launch and they were able to get the job done above and beyond my expectations. They promptly responded to my inquiry, were able to make my one week need by date, and even delivered the cookies. They looked beautiful and tasted amazing. Each cookie even came individually packaged! WOW! And thank you!

    The cookies were fabulous! I bought them to celebrate friend and author Ann Suk Wang. Her debut book, The House Before Falling into the Sea, is a very touching story from her mom's childhood, when their family gave refuge to scores of people who were fleeing from North Korea's military. The beautiful illustrations by Hanna Cha bring to life the memories of how Ann's mom learned to open her young heart to those in need. ModernBite created a perfect cookie with the sweetest image from Ann's book. They allowed me to pick up on a Saturday just before Ann read her book at Vroman's. The cookies were each individually wrapped and packed precisely in a box to keep them safe. I was thrilled that the order could be fulfilled with short notice and that they came out exactly how I imagined! So many possibilities with this company -- highly recommend! They will pack the cookies with bubble wrap and ship nationwide.

It's not a bad price considering how expensive food is nowadays. I just wish they could somehow make these croissants rise more because they are very flat. On my last visit, I also noticed the sizes varied. I got three croissants, and one of them was noticeably smaller than the other two. I also like the almond tart here. It's a tart with an almond cake like texture that tastes similar to the filling of the almond croissant. I've had a vanilla latte here several years ago and it was pretty bland, so I haven't ordered coffee here again.

Unless you're an Olympic athlete, eating 3 scoops of ice cream is not good for anyone, as delicious as it is (and it was delicious). Came here becus I saw comments online, but I dont think I'd go back, there are many other places with outstanding food & service. The Mexican rice & Café de olla were the standouts of the meal. If you live nearby I could see this being a good place to enjoy a meal, but to come in from farther out isn't worth the drive.

Gave us the best price quote for what we were looking for: something rustic and elegant: a Naked 3-tiered wedding cake. Then we placed a vintage wedding cake topper on and it was perfection! We gave her a week's notice. And we picked our cake the day prior to our wedding ceremony at the Chevy Chase country and they refrigerated onsite. And we were set! All the other price quotes on Zola were hundreds of $$ inflated, and people were demanding. Her cake shop is a cute lil shop front, located in a cozy lil strip mall. Ya gotta pay attention when driving or ya might miss it! Best of all she gave us 12 mini cupcakes as a thank you. How SWEET is that! Maybe we'll have some spooky themed ones, in time for Halloween. I was also only told after ordering and paying that Sunday pickup isn't normally allowed -- forcing me to pick up the cake at 8am the morning of the party. That policy should be disclosed upfront. We had to change plans in order to accomodate this request she unprofessionally sprung onto us. I emailed with photos and respectful feedback and received no response. Not even an acknowledgment. As a business owner, I would have been ashamed of this! The cake tasted fine, but the communication and customer care were terrible. I would not trust this bakery for an important event, ever! Please save yourself the trouble and thank me later ... i would give this review zero stars if I could.
