I am in a service business and I am very critical about customer service... so, here goes... These guys DELIVER! My wife decided it was time to update our living room beginning with upgrading the empty nook space with built-in cabinets and shelves. She found these guys and I am so glad she did. They are a father & son who have started a business together. Gotta love that! The did EVERYTHING they promised. Everything was done when they said it would be. The price was exactly what they promised. The work was clean. They took my wife's ideas and her Pinterest collage and created EXACTLY what we were looking for - even when we didn't know. When they thought our idea would look bad, they told us...and offered a solution. When we were not quite sure what we wanted for a particular thing, they brainstormed with us. When we made changes in the middle of the project, they not only rolled with it, but suggested how the changes could be even better. The best part, though, was this: I watched them work. I watched them measure and measure and measure again until each element was perfect. While they worked quickly, they were not in any hurry. It seemed more important to be good than be fast. The last thing I will say is this: They were just good people. It's hard to find anymore; a service business with integrity. These guys are the real deal!!

I would not hesitate to recommend for a project small to large. We had a very small project, which was emotionally a very large project to us. We had recently had our 1957 kitchen cabinets refinished to some expense. I, of course, dropped one of the drawers, splitting the wood. I was bereft. I called Kevin and immediately could tell I was in good hands.. He fixed the drawer perfectly and very promptly, over the holidays nonetheless. Would highly recommend.

The project took longer than anticipated to no fault of Hughes. I kept adding more things to be done along the way. Often when doing repairs or remodel on a home it is discovered that more needs to be done than anticipated. Jason was sent out to do the job. Hughes along the way described Jason as an artist which he really is. He was very detailed. There was no complaints from either Hughes or Jason about the job getting bigger and bigger . Hughes came by where I work to discuss the job in detail early on which shows me he cares and that goes a long way. I felt Hughes was very fair with the pricing of the job considering how it grew. The work was very well done. I highly recommended Hughes Home Services. Thanks for everything .

The dark stain was wearing off in spots and they were just starting to bug me in general. Rich came out right away to take measurements and discuss their product and options. Originally was given a start date of 3-4 weeks out but then they asked if they could start early due to delays in other projects not being ready for them. Jesse did the refacing work at the house. He was amazingly conscientious masking off the kitchen and laying down floor protectors. The actual work took 5 days between the kitchen and master bath. If there is something Kevin needs for the design that he created and my company does not offer it, he will find it somewhere else or make it himself. Custom cabinetry is not for the faint of heart. From the moment we called Alvaro - we felt we were…read morein the best of hands. We had researched very carefully, and talked to several businesses. Alvaro's tone, direct communication, and responsiveness, in combination with all the great reviews, made it an easy decision, Then, we met with his designer Marc at our home. We lacked kitchen storage and wanted more, and a coffee bar. We wanted to replace a granite topped breakfront with a wood top. Additionally, we needed a sizable bookcase for our office. Marc's got a great eye and even better ears - instead of choosing a trend or dictating what he thought, he carefully listened to our wants and goal of how we wanted the new elements to compliment, but not necessarily match, the existing decor. He understood our space and really guided us to a terrific design. The process was un-rushed and very collaborative. We went back and forth first with sketches, that then became photo-shopped realizations of the furniture in the room, and ultimately he presented architectural drawings that we then signed off on before construction. This is a family business that prides themselves on the craft of their product. Alvaro, his dad (a true master carpenter) and his brother did the construction and installation. They were thoughtful and as they installed and assembled, some things became apparent that we had not considered. It was all addressed with expertise and professionalism, wrapped in a true desire to make the best possible cabinetry for our home. Once done, their retoucher addressed every shadow of imperfection on site. Their finisher addressed the walls and outlets that were damaged by the removal of the granite and the changing of some electrical (which they also oversaw). You can not see a shadow of indication that what they created and installed, has not been there all along. I highly recommend Elites - we will be working with them again as well.
