I purchased a set of wheels & tires from modbargins on August 16th, 2017. My sales rep Elliot was very helpful. I selected an AG wheel, 20x9.5 with a 48et, 5x112 lug pattern gloss black with 265/30/20 tires (I currently am running an extremely similar set up - Stasis FD11 20x9.5 ET48 with 265/30/20). Shortly after paying my 50% deposit, I emailed him asking to add tire stickers to my order. Elliot is quick to get back to me, saying he will get an invoice over to me. I followed up with him on August 22nd, 2017 since I never recieved an updated invoice. I pay my remaining 50% plus the tire stickers the following day. I get my email notice saying my order was shipped, and ask to see if a signature was needed. I ask if we can schedule a delievery date or have the items held at a UPS hub. Elliot gave me a little resistance but after a few emails he said he would have them held for me. On September 19th, I pick up the wheels & tires and return home. Upon opening the first wheel, I notice there is an offset stamped on the wheel (ET15). (I called Avant Garde myself on 9/29 and asked about this stamp. Gentleman who answered memtioned they do not normal stamp an offset on the wheels and especially in the vase of the M610.)Upon seeing this, I measure the wheels and determine the offset is not accurate. I email Elliot who responded at 10PM EST saying he will speak with AG about this.  The following day, he tells me that AG does not manufacture the M610 in a 20x9.5 despite it being listed on AG's website, Modbargins website & my invoice. He tells me I received a 20x10 and AG adjusted the offset to take into consideration of the larger width. Naturally after spending $3700+, I'm frustrated and wonder how they can do something like that without informing the customer first. Elliot asks me to mount the wheel on my car, and send photos to him. I explain the wheel will not clear my BBK without a spacer (which I didn't have) and might make contact with parts of my car. He says he understands but again requests me to do this. I go out and purchase 10mm spacers to ensure no damage to my Alcon caliper. With the aid of the spacer, the rim cleared my caliper but was extremely close to rubbing on my fender just sitting there. I explain to Elliot that I will need spacers & fenders pulled to make this work. If I drive my car like this, it will cause damage. They can either pay for these things, get me the wheels I ordered or refund my money. He tells me they will pay for all charges and urges me to get invoices quickly so they can get the money to me. I send an invoice for the spacers from my local autoparts store. I contact my local shop to get a quote for the body work. Naturally the body shop needs to see it in person. I take the car to them for the estimate and get it over to Elliot. I also provided photos of damage done to the tires, stickers and fenders from having to drive my car for this estimate. He responds a few hours later saying that is too much. At this point in time, Elliot attempts to tell me the wheels are actually 20x9.5", that he & AG was wrong previously and that the offset is the only incorrect thing. If you recall correctly, he previously said they were 20x10 and the offset was adjusted. I replay asking to speak to a manager. At this point, I would like to mention that Elliot & I's whole conversation is via email so I have proof of everything. I left multiple voicemails but always got a replay via email. I call in on September 23rd and speak with a gentleman that dodge my question for his name but told me he was the video guy. He took down my information and told me Shawn  (Manager) will contact me Monday. Shawn never called me on Monday.  I called in and spoke with a manager named Alan. Alan asked I forward everything to him and stressed to me that he would reach out to me in two days.  He didn't.  I reached out to him and Elliot both via email on day three for an update. Elliot got back to me saying he was attempting to coordinate a sit down with his bosses to see how they would like tp resolve this. The following day, I reach out again only to find out now that they can either give me $500 back for the error or I can have someone remove this tires and they will have AG make new ones.  To remind you; I was originally told after recieving the wheels, they do not offer a 20x9.5. The wheels have an offset stamped on them. The sales rep agreed to pay for everything without seeing a bill or anything except photos of the damage and fitment issues. The manager never got back to me. They can't get me the correct wheels if they don't make that size. $500 is a 1/4 of the repair estimate.  To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I came across this place by reading an article on a Remus exhaust for a mark 7 Gti. I came in about two weeks ago to get more info and prices. Mark helped me out he was awesome! He explained the process and we went online to pick out the Remus exhaust for my car. Luckily for me, they had all the parts in stock which was a plus. I purchased a quad tip exhaust from Remus and the Mod Society package. They even installed my VWR racing springs as well. My car was in the shop for about 5 hours and it came out flawless. Special shout out to the tech Juan, he did an amazing job! The quality of work is impressive! The shop was clean, and presentable. The lobby room was very nice. I hung out there drinking my coffee and doing some work on my ipad while I waited. Every once in a while I would get up to see the progress of my car which I could view from the lobby. All staff was amazing! They called me a few times to confirm my appointment and then emailed me reminders! Overall the experience was amazing! Had coil-overs installed on my 2014 Mustang today by Dave. He knocked it out in a few hours and the car now rides and handles great. I'm very pleased with the shop and will definitely recommend their business to others. The technicians are a great group of guys and very friendly. Dave went as far as to ask me how i preferred the ride feel and height of the car, and adjusted everything accordingly. The shop itself has a very modern feel to it. The waiting room has a coffee bar with a giant window into the work area so you can watch your car being worked on while you wait. I thought that was a very cool feature of the shop. I worked closely with Sean Singh to source new wheels and tires for my 2006 Pontiac GTO. Sean supported me through the whole process, explaining the offsets and options they had and what he thought would fit best on the car. He was super patient while I went back and forth on my options and sent many an email with questions. Unlike SO many mod shops and parts suppliers, he was always quick with a reply and straight to the point with what I needed to know. When it finally came time for install day, even though Sean wasn't at the shop, the guys who were working were super friendly and the mechanic who was installing my tires even let me take a look at the underbody while the GTO was up on the lift. EDIT: 9/25/17 - Alan, the business manager, did reach out to offer store credit for a shot at redemption from the poor experience I received with my initial purchase with them. There are many businesses out there that will not bother to do anything about customers who have had a bad experience. This is something I definitely appreciated. Hoping for a smoother transaction on my next purchase! PREVIOUS 1 STAR RATING REVIEW: Great guys here who are very knowledgeable,can't deny that. But it only took 1 to ruin my experience. I purchased a set of Avant Garde M590s and tires in mid-July from Modbargains for my 2015 BMW F34 328i GT xDrive. My knowledge was lacking as to what proper tire sizes to get for my new set of wheels, so I left it up to the employee (lets call him Bob) to find and match the proper tires for my AG wheels because after all they were experts! Keep in mind, my car (F34) was not like your average F30 and ran bigger tires than the regular 3 series. This was something I had to find out a few weeks later once I received the wheels. I went to a local shop to get them on, but the workers at the shop noticed that the wheel + tires I received were 1.6 inches shorter than my stock wheels. I was told that these were going to fit my car for sure. After bringing this issue to Bob and showing pictures of the difference between the sizes, Bob did a little bit more research and indeed came to agree that the F34 wheels are bigger than the wheels I received, which were intended for the F30. Isn't this the research that should have been done in the VERY beginning BEFORE I placed my order? Had this happened, I would have avoided the burdensome head-aching process that followed. He single-handed cost me more money and time to get new tires separately. Bob automatically must have assumed the F34 was just like a regular F30. I had to go through the trouble of getting these tires dismounted so I could ship them back. Bob said he would send me return labels so I did not have to pay for the shipping (great right?). However, I went back and forth with Bob every day, hounding him for the return labels. Why you ask? Because for an ENTIRE WEEK STRAIGHT, every day, Bob said "I'm sorry I'll get you the labels tomorrow." I kid you not this is what happened for an entire week, and I STILL DID NOT EVER receive the labels from him. I had to contact ANOTHER employee, Kevin, who was EXTREMELY helpful and got me the return labels back within the hour I contacted him. Are you serious? At this point, I had the impression that "Bob" had no interest or intention of getting me the return labels or maybe he just simply did not prioritize my requests as a customer. EITHER WAY, this is HORRIBLE customer service on Bob's end. I shipped back the tires and checked that they were received by ModBargains. Again, I had to hound Bob nearly two weeks to see what was going on with my refund. I had to go through Kevin again, who was able to tell me that my tires had to go through QC for inspection. I should not have be chasing down someone to try and get my money back for a product I was mistakenly sold that was entirely the employee's fault. Bob was absolutely inconsiderate throughout this entire process. This review is directed at this employee, whom I have not explicitly named because I know he will know exactly who he is without the need to be named. The communication is there, but he makes empty promises and does not follow through with the things he says he will do UNLESS you hound and chase him down. There should be a due diligence to your customers. read more

After first dealing with this company I thought they were great. However, we are two weeks in since when I placed my order and apparently there is ONLY ONE MANAGER for the entire company AND he's never available and he does not return calls. I should've been refunded nearly $800 for a part that I was later told would not fit my vehicle. I was truly enamored that they had taken the time to figure that out prior to just shipping it out and leave me to figure it out myself. however after that phone call things have just gone downhill... I have not seen my $750 refund yet... nor have I received the remaining two items that I purchased. Upon calling to get tracking information and find out where my shipments were I was immediately told that "the only person that could help me was Alan the manager, and he's not available"..."but he'll get right back to you.... this will be now my third day of trying to reach out to Allen unsuccessfully... Ive left messages & voicemails & have asked to speak with anybody else pertaining to those two items as well as my refund but have been told NOBODY ELSE CAN HELP ME!?!... Look there are hundreds of other companies online that provide the same products with a lot better customer service ..... So I ordered a REMUS EXHAUST AND FRONT DUAL KIDNEY GRILL for my BMW 535i MSPORT last week from ALLAN.. and he was very helpful and friendly to start.. quick and smooth sale. I knew what I wanted he just guided and helped me get it. I finally came in to get my stuff installed and was very excited. I watched my car the whole hour while getting my dual quad REMUS EXHAUST installed by Juan, I asked him many questions while he was working. I thought he was annoyed but he answered everything. I asked him how long he's been doing this, he said like three years. The 3 yrs showed a lot of experience. He knew what he was doing to perfection. He had to cut my existing diffuser to fit the quad exhaust and he did a good job cutting straight and smooth. I was nervous about that part but it came out close to perfect. You can't even tell it was cut!! Good job JUAN.. love my REMUS quad exhaust and front grill you did for me!!! You deserve a raise on my book!!! Overall experience, I drove and live an hour away from mod bargains!!! And I will definetly be coming back to buy all my mods for my BMW here. Really disappointed in these guys. I placed my order 03/02. I had to follow up with them multiple times to get a status of my back order. I was told from 03/03 8 weeks till restock. It took them from then, until now, after I followed up again (in late march, and april twice I followed up as well and got different answers), and they sent me a partial shipment. Although that shipment was marked and processed as having my full order in it. In calling to report the partial shipment, I was told lights would ship out tomorrow. To find out this morning that the lights wont be in stock till the end of June, and I needed to pick from their alternative list of lights or I could wait two full months. The difference in cost between the lights I ordered and the alternate ones I had to pick from? $39. Instead of eating the cost to make up for the run around, misinformation, bad shipment, and making me wait for no reason (the other lights have been in stock)... I still have to pay the $39. I was told they will leave the warehouse today, ground. When speaking to the manager on the phone earlier today he said "we'll see what we can do for you" and have Allison confirm. She didn't. I had to email in again. And she called me to get my credit card info. I'm missing my shop time (I rent out an open bay) for the 4th time. This site has a lot of great stuff, great selection, and they're "experts" in mods are definitely experts that you can trust for advice and knowledge. Customer service? Not so much. It's a bummer I could never bring myself, or the car buddies to do business with them again. It's disappointing that management and the president know of the issue, and absolutely nothing was done to show anyone cared at all. You're just another order. Down to the last penny. You're much better off at ft86speedfactory.com. They'll give you updates on your backorder (even if they don't know or the status hasn't changed), and they'll fix whatever they need to without hesitation or having to think about it. I am definitely looking forward to not hearing "duuuude you still haven't gotten your lights?"
