I come here about once a month when the app has a deal. I love how it's one price no matter what and/or how many toppings you get. The prices keep slowly getting higher and higher every year so that's why I wait until a promotion or deal comes along. The white sauce is my go to here. You can get tomato sauce anywhere so I love to change it up here. I'm kind of picky about pizza. I wasn't sure what to expect from MOD when I was told about the concept. I feared it would be crappy pizza that passes through an electric belt oven. It's not. The concept and the pizza are quite amazing. You choose your crust. The standard MOD pizza is a thin, 11" crust. You can get a smaller one, or you can double your crust for something thicker. I get the standard. Then you proceed down the line of sauces and toppings that you can choose for your pizza. There are a few standards on a wall menu, but everyone I've seen has picked their own blend. Your pizza will still be $8, no matter how many or how few toppings you pick. The choices are vast. Their red sauce is really tasty. I add chopped garlic under my cheese. There are cheese options. For toppings, there are meats aplenty, veggies aplenty, most of the things you would want on a pizza. The one thing that was missing for my family was caramelized onions. They have raw ones. The pizzas go in a giant brick oven for a few minutes, which is more than enough time to cook and crisp up the tasty crust. My pizza of choice: red sauce, garlic, mozzarella, ricotta dollops, artichokes, black olives,roasted mushrooms and garlic butter swirl on top. Another highlight of MOD that I really enjoy is their beverage selections. In addition to the typical soda fountain options, they have a few iced teas and lemonades that I have enjoyed. The employees are friendly but seem to be in a big hurry to get your pizza in the oven. On one occasion they missed 2 items my youngest son asked for on his pizza. It is really inexpensive for the quality and quantity of food you get. It turns out to be about $10 per person for my family. I've been to MOD four times in the past few weeks. I love it. This location is conveniently located near our home and the food is good. My daughter especially loves this place and finishes everything she orders, which is good because she is picky. She had the Mod Maddy with pepperoni topped off with pesto drizzle. My son gets the Mega Mad Dog, and I get a Mad Dog, both with pepperoni and sausage. We devour them. The service is always fast and an added plus is you get to watch them make your food. Not 5 stars because the amount of sauce used is very thin. You can probably ask for additional, I just never have. Definitely recommend. read more

The restaurant is modern and spacious... with patio seating also. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Now ... for the bad news. Because they only use a thin crust pizza dough, your finished pizza can turn out soggy. The person who runs the pizza oven, can also lose focus... so you can get burned crust edges or black bottomed pies. Yes... they use a brick oven, but burned is burned. After wanting to try this place out for months I finally made my way down!! It did not disappoint, I got ham and pineapple on one half and the Caspian (bbq, grill chicken, onions plus green peppers, sausage and mushroom) on the other half. After a long week it was a real pick me up. The staff was really friendly and walked me through everything because it was my first time, after I left I was already planning when to come back, lol! The only downside was the crust was EXTRA thin, I didn't notice it much on the Caspian side because it had more toppings, but my ham and pineapple side was definitely thin. My grandson and I stopped at MOD PIZZA at the West York location on Rt.30. We were in line when my grandson asked for a No Bake Cake. I answered no, because he eats very little chocolate. I figured he would not eat it. When our food was done the tall gentleman asked me if my grandson has been good today. I answered yes, and my grandson showed him how high he could jump. I've been here 3 or 4 times. Each time the food has been good, but the employees have been horrible. They don't stop their personal conversations for customers. As a prior military member that has traveled a lot and tried numerous pizzas throughout the US, Europe, and the Pacific, I have to say this has been one of the best I've had so far. I was extremely impressed on how fast they were and the fact that it had an assembly line feel to it. You started with the basic and worked your way down the line choosing the toppings you wanted. This place is like if CiCi's and Chipotle had a baby - you get you customize your own pizza but everything is going to be underwhelming. My husband and I each picked ingredients for our own mod pizza. I had white sauce, mozerella, mushrooms, and chicken; my husband had red sauce, mozerella, sausage, pepperoni, and bacon. Mine tasted like cardboard, his was somewhat better but we agreed we weren't in any hurry to go back and repeat the experience. We got a side of garlic strips and they were awful - basically a hard crust with cheese and an overwhelming herb taste. The staff was a bit scattered and that should have been a sign. Service was poor. I waited for an employee to stop making a pizza for himself before I could finish my pizza. I watched an employee pick a brush off the ground and brush the oven while my pizza was in there. I watched that same employee get a drink walk back to the table by the oven drink it over the table spilling soda on someones pizza and she quickly made sure Noone saw before putting it in. I was told it would be ready in 3-4 minutes but it took 10. My pizza was burnt and had black dust on top.
