It had been a little while since we had been to this Mod location. The last time it was a little odd as the workers all seemed to be disinterested in their jobs, the people or the way they made the food. What a wonderful experience my husband and I had on Tuesday, 4/15/205. "Noah" was the young gentleman that took our order and made our Mod size Pizza and Mod Size Salad. He did not rush us, and seemed to take pride in his work, being detail oriented to make sure the toppings were not just "slopped" on as we previously experienced. The other gentleman there that night that may have been a shift manager was also very kind and acted in a professional manner as opposed to "kids" running the place. The environment had a positive vibe but I just think that Noah's family did a remarkable job in raising him and I hope the Mod family appreciates this fine your man representing something as simple as pizza and salad. He made a difference to both me and my husband. read more

Good tasting pizza but way overpriced for what you get. Very skimpy on the toppings. $13.89 for this little pizza with very little toppings and $3.39 for a small fountain drink. For the $18.32 I paid I could have gone to a local Italian owned pizza shop and gotten a whole pizza. I won't be returning to MOD. read more

They're getting really stingy with the toppings. The price went up. Over 18 bucks for a pizza and a drink this place is getting like five guys. Employees are miserable. read more

First of all, as at all Mod Pizzas, the food is excellent. The main reason for this review is the amazing service. The employees are always very polite and accommodating, even for my crazy orders. And because I am currently dealing with some mobility issues, they even help me take my order to my car. (I try to go at times when I think they won't be too busy.) I can't recommend this Mod Pizzas highly enough. read more

Can't order online and when you call in you have to talk to a computer. Just go somewhere else

I've come here ma y years in the past. Came here today, the one girl that got our order wasn't as friendly as they used to be before and just felt rushed. Where the drink station is location, the side of it was very dusty and dirty. Very dusty on top of the napkin dispenser and on the table also. The pizzas seem more thin then before too... the flavor was still there ! Plus of course I have to get a no name cake every time ! Lol read more

I tried this for the first time, it was 2 trips in one! The first and the last. Unless you are in a tremendous hurry, go somewhere else and wait the extra 10 minutes! The pizza crust is sitting on a stand and has no flavor at all , for $5 and change is equated to merely a slice of pie. Very little souce and even less cheese! You will leave feeling ripped off! The service was ok at best, at least the guy who cooked the pizza and handed it said thank you, the one who took the order made the pizza and then took my money without washing his hands said nothing! read more

Service is awful, across the board. Employees are rude distracted & disinterested. Food tastes like cardboard

Chains are chains for a reason! MOD pizza always an excellent, fast way to get a crispy pizza the way you want it for a decent price. Good service. No issues. Staff masked. read more

MOD Pizza - Make your own 11 inch!! Yum! - Fast Food Near Me - York, Pennsylvania

The tastes pizza is great. You can decide your own toppings. They have gluten-free and dairy free options, which is why l can not have pizza or salads in most places. It's my favorite spot when l don't feel like cooking. It really gives options to everyone, and l don't feel awkward because l am allergic read more

People that work here are awesome... except for one. The short guy with the French dude hat that says Guiness is so rude. I overheard him tell a customer he didn't like her after she seemingly did nothing. Management needs to control this horrible man. read more

Love being able to be creative with my pizza. I love the roasted Brussels sprouts on it. You can chose as much or as little as you want.

I order from here every now and then, I like being able to order online and pick it up on my home from work. They usually have it already ready, few times I've had to wait. They usually acknowledge me as well, once I stood at the order pickup area for about 10 minutes before someone asked me what I was waiting for. Pizza is good. read more

This place is a wow ! You can build your own custom pizza with your choice of different toppings on a thin crust ( not too thin - just right) They have several sizes - the pizza's are so good you will wish you ordered a large one. I ordered a small one and was wishing I went for a bigger one. I'm telling you it melts in your mouth and the crust is perfect. They don't have MOD Pizza shops where I live. I was vacationing and stayed over in York - they had several shops in the area. I will look for MOD pizza shops whenever I travel - very tasty!! The service was excellent and the place was super clean. read more

Pizza is trash imo u can make better at home or better yet go to Papa John's to be completely honest.

I love MOD Pizza. I love the options, including anchovies. I love that I can get exactly what I want to fit my mood and preferences on a particular day. I love the freshly fired flavor. I only eat thin and crispy crust so this is right up my alley. If you are a regular crust or pan crust or any other type of crust person, this might not be your cup of tea. Staff was good. Process moved as quickly as possible. The interesting teas and lemonades are also great. I can't wait for one to come to Mechanicsburg. Hint, hint. My only complaint: My son only likes cheese on his pizza. His costs the same as the dude or dudette building a ten pound pizza. read more

While waiting for my pizza an employee on break kept coughing repeatedly and most the time with no hand over his mouth a few times he used his shirt. Stay home if you are too sick we don,t want to catch what you have. We will not be returning. We might try the other location. read more

Not perfect, but close!. Toppings are extensive and I like the sauce and crust. The pizza sizes are perfect for generous single or double portions. This the first place the perfectly uses the tray line. Everything is within line of sight! read more

Terrible service. Ordered 3 pizzas for dine in - 2 cheese, 1 caspian. One cauliflower pizza to go. No one ahead of me in line. Couldn't get the order right. Laughed at me. Nodded head. Yet couldn't listen and actually hear me that they still didn't have my order right. Had to remake/make one because they ended up not having 4 pizzas for me. When they remade the 4th - for a waiting child - they never bothered to call my name. Super comical/sad - because I watched them fill out each tag. Elementary skills 101. Lacking. I was sad I tipped them when I paid my bill - before this mess started. I'd fire all 3 of them. read more

MOD Pizza is an excellent "fast food" place, that has excellent service, and fantastic food. Walking in you are greeted warmly by a welcoming staff, they are quick to help you decide/serve you. They have a great knowledge of their menu and can explain what your options are. And for a "fast food" like place, it was a very personal experience, almost as if the staff knows who you are before you walk in. For me it was a very good experience. Next, the quality of food is wonderful. For being a quick turn around, from ordering to getting your food, the food is fantastic. It has great flavor, and the quantity is perfect. Splitting a pizza or by yourself, any pizza can suit the appetite. Along with that, the customization is awesome. MODs has dozens of options to put on your pie, and truly any variation would be a good one. Finally, the ambiance is very casual, they have a good selection of music, and you seat yourself. They have a small outdoor eating patio and the majority of the seating is indoors. Overall, MOD Pizza is an excellent stop for food. The staff is great, the food is wonderful, and really is a comfortable place to eat. I would highly recommend MOD who's in the area! read more

This is one of my favorite pizza places. I like the way they make their crusts -- thin and crackly. You pay one price for unlimited toppings, and they have a great variety. Just be aware that if you order a lot of toppings, the thin crust will not cook as fully under them and may be a bit soggy. I don't care. They deliver by Doordash, and my pizzas have arrived cold the last couple times, but I've learned to preheat my oven while I wait and pop the pizza in for a few minutes, and honestly it makes a good pizza better even if it wasn't cold. Dining in is nice when there's no plague about. Their fountain teas are good. Their bottles and canned drinks are cool but not very cold, so get ice and a cup if you want them cold. read more

Good pizza with the ability to customize toppings. College crowd with a college age staff. Staff was efficient but lacked the personal attention that should have been presented to the customer. We ordered our pizza to go and it had been sitting on the counter for about ten minutes and no one told us our order was ready. This place is suffering from the apathetic attitude one gets after the newness of an establishment dies down, as does the staff morale. read more

Omg! My son and husband previously went and said how good it was. I was a bit skeptical because I love the NY style pizza, I was pleasantly surprised. It was delicious!! They all have different names, I had the Jasper wth jalapeños. I got the small size which is perfect for one!! It was very light. Very filling, I might have to switch back and forth from my NY style to this light and crispy treat!!! read more

Chain of pizza shops without the hum drum taste of "mass produced" pizza. They start with their own prepared dough, and let you tour and select from their choices of cheeses and toppings. Lots to pick! Then you can let them bake your pizza or tell them "well done" to get it darker and crispier. Very reasonably priced! read more

Awesome thin crust pizza! I really like having the option of customizing the pizza and seeing it be created in front of me before it goes in the oven. Their salads also look great although I have yet to try one since I've always been lured to the pizza instead..;). Hats off to Christian and his team for their great service and top notch pizza! I absolutely love this MOD. The food is great, the employees are great. Everything about it is great. I can't wait to go back again!

LOVE - the customize your own pizza with all available toppings. They even have anchovies if you want the traditional Caesar salad!! HATE - the yelling of "Welcome to MOD" as they stand less than three feet in front of you right into your hearing aids (as it has happened to me several times). I cannot imagine normal customers appreciating that either. read more

When I stopped here the first time the associate was very helpful. I tried a build your own however the concoction that I came up with wasn't that great. I would like to go back and try something more traditional to truly evaluate the flavor and quality of their food. read more

Pizza was delicious and fast. Staff was super friendly. At first the pizza seems reasonably priced at $7.47 with unlimited toppings, which it is. Only problem is it's only enough for one person so as a couple you have to get two pizzas bringing it up to $15. It's a clever way to get you to spend more money because there is no way one pizza would fill 2 people. Pizza was excellent though read more

MOD Pizza - Cheese pizza and ham and onion - Fast Food Near Me - York, Pennsylvania

This was my first time at MOD pizza at their new store in East York, PA. Never been this disappointed over a Pizza. Their 'Large' is a 12" pizza, and if you ask them about it they hem and haw, no real answer. The pizza I got was underdone, undersized, undersauced, very light on the cheese and meats, and VERY underwhelming for the price. Someone needs to tell them 12" is a SMALL, not a LARGE pizza. I would warn EVERYONE off from this place. Parma Pizza nearby sells a better pizza with better crust for the price, the correct size and toppings, and makes them right from the beginning. I will NEVER go back to this rip-off place. read more

The pizza is really good and the customer service is even better! They saw my dog was in the car. We ordered to go. She offered for us to sit out on the deck and the dog was welcome to sit out there with us. So we took her up on thag offer. Very nice place. ONLY negative part (and it's not really negative), I wanted to try the cauliflower crust and couldn't. They only have it in 11" crust. I got the mini. But otherwise was a great meal and experience! We will be back! read more

Where else can you order a pizza to your liking with all the toppings you want for the price of a cheese pizza?! The crust is thin (my fav) and it is cooked just right in their open oven. I'll be happy when I can go in again and watch them making my pizza. Great customer service as well. read more

I love this place! I can honestly say I enjoy my "pizza" every time I go. My only insight for new customers is that it is not quite a pizza, but more of a flatbread. The crust is very, very thin (however I know that some people enjoy the thin crust) Despite that minor flaw, it's great, always fast and tasty! read more

This is a great pizza place and you can choose any toppings you want for the same pizza price. I can not wait to Get one in Hanover PA
