It had been a little while since we had been to this Mod location. The last time it was a little odd as the workers all seemed to be disinterested in their jobs, the people or the way they made the food. What a wonderful experience my husband and I had on Tuesday, 4/15/205. "Noah" was the young gentleman that took our order and made our Mod size Pizza and Mod Size Salad. He did not rush us, and seemed to take pride in his work, being detail oriented to make sure the toppings were not just "slopped" on as we previously experienced. The other gentleman there that night that may have been a shift manager was also very kind and acted in a professional manner as opposed to "kids" running the place. The environment had a positive vibe but I just think that Noah's family did a remarkable job in raising him and I hope the Mod family appreciates this fine your man representing something as simple as pizza and salad. First of all, as at all Mod Pizzas, the food is excellent. The main reason for this review is the amazing service. The employees are always very polite and accommodating, even for my crazy orders. And because I am currently dealing with some mobility issues, they even help me take my order to my car. (I try to go at times when I think they won't be too busy.) I tried this for the first time, it was 2 trips in one! The first and the last. Unless you are in a tremendous hurry, go somewhere else and wait the extra 10 minutes! The pizza crust is sitting on a stand and has no flavor at all , for $5 and change is equated to merely a slice of pie. Very little souce and even less cheese! You will leave feeling ripped off! The service was ok at best, at least the guy who cooked the pizza and handed it said thank you, the one who took the order made the pizza and then took my money without washing his hands said nothing! read more

I've come here ma y years in the past. Came here today, the one girl that got our order wasn't as friendly as they used to be before and just felt rushed. Where the drink station is location, the side of it was very dusty and dirty. Very dusty on top of the napkin dispenser and on the table also. This place is a wow ! You can build your own custom pizza with your choice of different toppings on a thin crust ( not too thin - just right) They have several sizes - the pizza's are so good you will wish you ordered a large one. I ordered a small one and was wishing I went for a bigger one. I'm telling you it melts in your mouth and the crust is perfect. They don't have MOD Pizza shops where I live. I was vacationing and stayed over in York - they had several shops in the area. I will look for MOD pizza shops whenever I travel - very tasty!! I order from here every now and then, I like being able to order online and pick it up on my home from work. They usually have it already ready, few times I've had to wait. I love MOD Pizza. I love the options, including anchovies. I love that I can get exactly what I want to fit my mood and preferences on a particular day. I love the freshly fired flavor. I only eat thin and crispy crust so this is right up my alley. If you are a regular crust or pan crust or any other type of crust person, this might not be your cup of tea. Staff was good. Process moved as quickly as possible. The interesting teas and lemonades are also great. I can't wait for one to come to Mechanicsburg. Hint, hint. Yet couldn't listen and actually hear me that they still didn't have my order right. Had to remake/make one because they ended up not having 4 pizzas for me. MOD Pizza is an excellent "fast food" place, that has excellent service, and fantastic food. Walking in you are greeted warmly by a welcoming staff, they are quick to help you decide/serve you. They have a great knowledge of their menu and can explain what your options are. And for a "fast food" like place, it was a very personal experience, almost as if the staff knows who you are before you walk in. For me it was a very good experience. Next, the quality of food is wonderful. For being a quick turn around, from ordering to getting your food, the food is fantastic. It has great flavor, and the quantity is perfect. Splitting a pizza or by yourself, any pizza can suit the appetite. Along with that, the customization is awesome. MODs has dozens of options to put on your pie, and truly any variation would be a good one. Finally, the ambiance is very casual, they have a good selection of music, and you seat yourself. They have a small outdoor eating patio and the majority of the seating is indoors. Overall, MOD Pizza is an excellent stop for food. The staff is great, the food is wonderful, and really is a comfortable place to eat. I would highly recommend MOD who's in the area! read more

This is one of my favorite pizza places. I like the way they make their crusts -- thin and crackly. You pay one price for unlimited toppings, and they have a great variety. Just be aware that if you order a lot of toppings, the thin crust will not cook as fully under them and may be a bit soggy. I don't care. They deliver by Doordash, and my pizzas have arrived cold the last couple times, but I've learned to preheat my oven while I wait and pop the pizza in for a few minutes, and honestly it makes a good pizza better even if it wasn't cold. Dining in is nice when there's no plague about. Their fountain teas are good. Their bottles and canned drinks are cool but not very cold, so get ice and a cup if you want them cold. read more

Good pizza with the ability to customize toppings. College crowd with a college age staff. Staff was efficient but lacked the personal attention that should have been presented to the customer. We ordered our pizza to go and it had been sitting on the counter for about ten minutes and no one told us our order was ready. Their 'Large' is a 12" pizza, and if you ask them about it they hem and haw, no real answer. The pizza I got was underdone, undersized, undersauced, very light on the cheese and meats, and VERY underwhelming for the price. Someone needs to tell them 12" is a SMALL, not a LARGE pizza. I would warn EVERYONE off from this place. Parma Pizza nearby sells a better pizza with better crust for the price, the correct size and toppings, and makes them right from the beginning. The pizza is really good and the customer service is even better! They saw my dog was in the car. We ordered to go. She offered for us to sit out on the deck and the dog was welcome to sit out there with us. So we took her up on thag offer. Very nice place. I love this place! I can honestly say I enjoy my "pizza" every time I go. My only insight for new customers is that it is not quite a pizza, but more of a flatbread.
