Here's the deal, the food was great. This review is not about the food. The crew at this store makes it seem like a funeral parlor. Went in yesterday and ordered fairly simple pizzas, one of which was a menu option. Both people helping us couldn't remember anything we said. They don't speak loud enough to hear and worked very slowly. The only person that seemed to be working hard was the guy cooking. He was polite and made sure we didn't need anything else before leaving. Pizzas were great, MOD never disappoints. Not a single employee smiled or seemed happy. This review is not about the food. While eating there two different groups entered over the span of 15 minutes or so, while not wearing masks. You could tell each time that everyone was uncomfortable including the staff. My order was called, so I asked the employee why they weren't saying anything to the guests, the employee replied that they were instructed by management to not turn anyone away or confront a customer if they chose not to follow the city ordinance! Typically I really love Mod pizza. I usually mobile order because I am in a time crunch so I can just walk in and out and it's cooking/being made while I'm on the way. This time, I ordered online 20 minutes out, and when I got there, it wasn't busy but they hadn't even started my pizza. Online, it had said my order would be ready before the time i actually walked into the store. I had to wait an extra 20 minutes and watched them build my pizza from scratch. I'm disappointed that this location was not speedy and did not meet the promised time frame estimation provided by the app. read more

Great pizza! I was a bit skeptical but this turned out to be a great experience. It didn't take long to bake and you really can choose from a lot of different toppings all for he same price. The price was much more reasonable than I had anticipated with it being about $8 for their standard size, admittedly it's a little less food than $8 may get you in some places, it was less than I thought being what looked like a more trendy place. I am very picky about my sauce and their regular pizza sauce was really good. I would have left it in the oven a minute longer for a little bit more crisp in the crust but that's my fault since he did ask if I wanted that and I declined with it being my first time and not knowing. I finally took the time to try MOD Pizza and glad I did. I don't plan on visiting this restaurant again but I will say that the staff was very nice and the food was ok. I see this as a good place for teenyboppers and twenty-somethings to hang out. I think the food is over priced for what you get but l know that there are many out there that do enjoy this, I'm just not one of them. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. The open sign was not lit so at first we weren't sure if they were even open. When we got inside, all of the employees were just standing around talking extremely loud and unprofessional. I've never been to MOD Pizza but I've heard many good things about it from friends and family and I thought I'd try it and I'm so happy I did. I'm here at 3 pm on a Friday with no one else in line and have had to wait for the person behind the counter to slowly make online orders as I'm standing here. I asked about a vegetarian protein and he informed me they "have artichokes if that helps." I ordered a pizza with chopped tomatoes and cheese as my only toppings and can count on two hands the number of pieces of tomato. They say on the window this place is "super fast." I was tired, a little under the weather, and feeling like a healthyish pizza. I had heard good things about their cauliflower crust and so decided to give it a try. I ordered online and I had fun putting together my own pizza (chicken with bleu cheese and buffalo sauce with various veggies). My husband picked it up on his way home and it was delicious! Wanted a quick dinner, so decided to stop in. Assortment of toppings was good and it was nice that you could add anything to your pizza. Price seemed fair for pizza size. Crust was also pretty good. If I was at a sit down restaurant, the length of time the food took would be ok... but this place advertises that it's fast. Time basically stopped waiting to get the pizza. Whatever "organization" system they're using to put the pizzas in the ovens and then get them cut up and names called out is a mess. Customers were constantly going up to the counter to find out where their pizza was. With all that said, the pizza was still good enough that I'd give it another try. read more

My first ever visit to Mod Pizza, I was not too impressed. Yes ingredients were fresh, but when they finished prepping my 6" pizza they left it on the counter and placed the pizza in the oven that was behind me, not only that, but when mine was finally done, they had added some mysterious orange colored spicy sauce on mine that I did not ask for, made my pizza not so delicious. I had ordered white sauce, chicken, artichokes, spinach and bacon, NO EXTRA SAUCE of any kind, my pizza was ruined. I don't like spicy on my pizza. Some day I might give them another chance. Do NOT order online. They will not even bother to check if they have online orders. You walk in and basically wait another 25 min for your food to be made. Instead of them just politely saying "You know what, we are so busy we did not realize that your order had not been made yet" "would you like a refund or we can make that for you now?" NO, The kid walked off for 5-6 min talking to someone because he was too scared to say it wasn't made. After a good 10 min they came to tell us that our food was JUST being made. She spoke over everyone who ordered and was so monotone that I had to leave the car to avoid laughing. But then she was really aggressive about how my brother was ordering. He wanted a cheese pizza with Gorgonzola and instead of making modifications she just flat out said no. She wouldn't do anything until I started that order over as a create your own pizza. She was just really aggressive about how she wanted things done and came off like we were idiots. When I walked in she was smiling and joking around with coworkers so I don't know why she was so petty with us. Decided to try the new pizza place that replaced the Pei Wei on Fort Union. I wasn't impressed and won't likely return. In the pizza world, since there are soooo many to chose from, you have to really stand out. This place didn't, in my opinion. I ordered one of their specialty pizzas, asking them to hold one ingredient, they didn't. Which kinda ruined the pizza for me. I didn't want to have to wait for them to cook me a new one. It's not intuitive to order the salads when you order the pizza and the staff were too busy yelling things at each other to really communicate well with me. We had 2 pizzas and 2 side salads (which I thought were just a little over priced) and just like the 2 star ranking says " Meh, I've experienced better." I'm surrounded by pizza places, and this one didn't impress. read more

I called in to order my pizza and they don't even give you the option to pay in cash once you get there. You have to pay with a credit card only, which I didn't like because I had cash with me. Second of all, the man that I talked to on the phone was extremely unpleasant. He was very rude and monotone the entire time, when I asked at the end of my order if he could repeat it he said "I'm already going to do that." Then listed everything I had ordered, once that conversation was over, he hung up on me. Talk about horrible customer service.
