We normally love MOD, but had a horrible experience recently. Went in 45 minutes before they closed, and was told they would be putting our pizzas in boxes because "we close in 30 minutes". The employee making our pizzas made us feel extremely unwelcome. Kept shaking their head, checking their watch, and acting really put out that we were there. I contemplated just leaving. Really awkward. We ate in about 10 minutes because we certainly didn't want to stick around and keep getting dirty looks. As we were about to leave, someone called asking about doing a pick up order. The employees told them no, and then made fun of them when they hung up the phone. The pizza was really good, but the service makes me really unlikely to go back any time soon. read more

It's great to get pizza made the way you want and just for you. I'm a big fan of the thin crust pizza and they make their lemonade in house and it is fantastic. I'm not a big fan of Firo's pizza, so I wasn't sure if I'd like the personal pizza model. But, I do enjoy MOD. I appreciate the upbeat and friendly staff. Awful experience! Ordered pizza on the app arrived 5 minutes after the expected time and still waited 22 minutes and pizza was not ready. You would think that with the current pandemic restaurant employees would not be touching the food with there ungloved hands when utensils are available, but it happen. I watched a female employee that was cutting the pizza lift up several pizza with her hands to read the names written on the paper. She then took a phone call and went back to her station and touched more pizzas with her ungloved unwashed hands. Tried for the first time tonight instead of Firo. Atmosphere is amazing. Fun and inviting. Tried the gluten free crust and was very happy that it was crisp and not soggy! Tasted like regular crust!
