I really love mod pizza! I have been to the location in Redlands several times. This one the staff was very friendly however just didn't seem very prepared it was right after 1 so still lunch rush, however they didn't seem to have much staff on the floor and had to make more dough because they ran out. Just didn't seem very organized or efficient like the other location I went to. With that said I will visit this location again to give them another chance and update my review! Definitely a great spot went there twice this week,employees are great they are friendly and fast ,you can get unlimited toppings and the pricing is great wish they had a little bit more beer but this isn't that kind of spot .Also is way better than pieology or blaze pizza ,also has a super cool vibe to it . Uh oh. Need to train on health code standards. If you are going to put meat on the pizza by hand you need to be changing gloves before touching veggies again. I was super grossed out that you touched pepperoni and sausage (aka pig anus and feet and pus) and then proceeded to touch the veggies on top of my pizza. I won't be coming back its an e coli incident waiting to happen. Please make sure you purchase utensils to touch the meat and separate utensils to touch the veggies going forward. read more

Pizza is delicious and this new way of quick fresh pizzas are taking over. BUT I've had Blaze, Pieology, Pizza Rev and Now MOD. And I have to give it to MOD. They have such incredible customer service!! I was bummed that my pizza was burnt and they offered to remake it with no hassle or attitude. Although I felt horrible about wasting a pizza, JD and Brendan were so nice about the whole situation and even offered to let me keep the burnt pizza. Second time here and the pizza wasn't ready. I'll forgive the 1st time, it was really busy. This time, the crew was more interested in goofing off than working. They didn't even start my order until I got here (order placed online) and then one of the pizzas was on the wrong crust! Unfortunately, this is the only place now in Fontana that has gluten free crust, but I think I'll save myself the drama and just buy a gluten free freschetta from Vons. So yesterday my husband and I came to mod pizza to try it out since we seen it had good reviews. We had just got out the gym it was around 5 there was no line or anything. Soon as we walked in we were greeted by staff and it was our first time there so we were browsing at the menu and the blonde Caucasian female team member was just staring at us kinda felt like glaring lol but anyways as we walked up to be assisted we let her know it was our first time there and she was just like "ok" and started explaining about the prices pretty much it, she could've been a bit more friendly and upbeat, so we just ended up getting the mad dog pizza with spinach and another mad dog pizza with chicken. So once we picked out our pizza we met with the blonde at the register paid waited like 10 mins for both of our pizzas and we said thank you have a nice day ! And all the blonde said was bye like super dry.. But anyways we weren't going to let that bad customer service ruin our pizza. So we got home and one of our pizzas crust was burnt like half the pizza crust and mine felt like it wasn't cooked long enough. Overall our mod pizza experience was pretty disappointing and won't be coming back or recommending to friends or family. I rather spend my $18 on Costco pizza!! read more

This place is terrible. If I can give them negative 5 stars I would. Should have never cheated on Blaze or Pieology. I asked the lady for pepperonis and she gave me 3. 3 pepperonis for a large pizza. They were incompetent and rude and didn't know how to spread out my toppings. One lady continuously said "k what else" in a rude tone after each topping was placed. Came in here the other day with my family. My husband had been in previously and got the mad dog, which was so good! I didn't know what to get since they have a lot of choices and I did get a little overwhelmed since I was in a hurry so, I was probably rude too, sorry. Maria saved my day by dealing with me and walking me thru the make your own, along the way giving suggestions. I ended up with a mega good for 2-3 ppl with red sauce, pepperoni, spicy sausage, spinach, tomatoes, jalapenos, sweet peppers, onions, and topped with sirancha, yup siracha and ranch together awesome sauce! Best pizza ever, I named it Jenn:) Anyway I scarfed down this pizza well in the carpool lane, it was so good. So thank you, Maria, and other guy who was very nice but didn't get your name. I've been here several times now. The employees are always so nice and the pizza is really good! Today I was so embarrassed when I went up to the register to pay for two pizza's and couldn't find my wallet. First time this ever happens to me! All I found in my purse were $14. I told them I would return with the full amount but they insisted that it was fine and they threw in a drink while I waited. I am extremely impressed! I always drive by here and never think of it much but today I was craving something different. I came on here yelp! And found this place, I'm glad I did. I picked a pizza of the wall I believe it is called Calexico pizza I added a few things Canadian bacon pesto sauce and roasted Brussel sprouts. Amazing! I also got a mini salad I added other great things roasted garlic, honey lime dressing, and the Brussel sprouts again. Again amazing. I really liked this place aside from the fact I was surrounded by a bunch of screaming little girls. The employees were super nice and friendly didn't get their names but they were very nice. This is the first time I've come here and it was by far the greatest pizza I've tasted. As soon as I walked in, every one greeted me with a cheerful "Welcome!" Nancy, the employee that helped me with my order, offered me the greatest service I've had in a while. She was very helpful and attentive with guiding me through their menu and other questions I had. She helped me on the register, cooked my pizza, and even personally handed it to me. The other employees were attentive too and offered me sides to go along with my pizza. Overall the store was clean, comforting, and every one was kind. My pizza wasn't burnt nor undercooked, it was crispy on the edges and perfectly cooked. The prices are reasonable for what you're getting. I would definitely recommend anyone that's a pizza addict to come here. I will definitely be coming back to this place! read more
